There's not a lot I can say about this set that I haven't already said about the individual volumes. I really love this vision of the Titans, and I hope that these three books are only the beginning.

Boxed sets are always a treat, especially with hardcovers. It makes for a handsome object to display on the shelves. I've noticed a dismaying tendency in ads to refer to collections of several ebooks-usually a series-as "boxed sets.” As far as I'm concerned, if there's no physical box, you've got no business calling it that. This is the real deal. Rant over.

I can't say enough good things about the García/Picolo Teen Titans books. It's a wonderfully fresh take on the characters that should delight fans of the series. Highly recommended!

Liked Raven and Beast boy the most. The romance in Beast boy loves Raven was instalove to the max. Like beast boy just sees raven and thinks she's the best girl in the word and she walks away and he's like damn just lost the girl of my dreams. It was too much. Apart from the instalove I really liked the storyline.
Liked the introduction of Robin and am excited for his book next.

Omg c'est tellement long sous forme d'intégrale (et lourd, 540 pages de comics quand même). Mais très cool d'avoir enfin une origin story complète des Teen Titans où on les voit vraiment être des ados (et j'ai trop aimé le style graphique de Raven et la manière dont il est gardé pour son perso dans Beast Boy loves Raven).

3.5 stars. On my re-read of this graphic novel series in preparation for the new one being released, and even though I still enjoyed these books, I feel like I didn’t love them in the same way that I remembered when I had first read them. Out of the two of these, I feel like the one that was the biggest drop-off from what I had remembered was Raven. Maybe my issues with it are very nitpicky, but the thing that took me out of the story the most was the new promprosal thing that the school had set up. There are so many issues with it, but the biggest is: what if a guy wants to ask another guy to the dance, like the girl who asked the other girl, but the rules state that only girls can ask people to the dances? Also, what is wrong with doing signs? My other issue was just Max in general, but especially when it came to her friendship with Eman. I get why she didn’t want Eman to keep asking her out; it was annoying, and he should have respected her saying she didn’t want to date. That being said, her then asking him to the prom, but only as a way of using him so she can keep an eye on Raven, knowing that he is in love with her and with full knowledge that she could have just done a friend group thing or gone alone, was so messed up. But beyond those elements that I disliked, Raven was overall a very solid story; it was interesting to watch her discover who she truly was as well as finding out part of her heritage.
I liked Beast Boy more, but the one thing I didn’t enjoy was my dislike of the main friendship. I didn’t hate it all the time, but they all felt very consumed by their own issues, especially Beast Boy, which made it hard to enjoy their little trio, though I did really like Tank. Another thing that I liked, even though it wasn’t the character themselves, was when Mike ran away from the wolves, and all the girls were calling him a coward. Not because they were right to call him out like that (what did they want him to die for them?), but because how Mike reacted was exactly how I would have in that situation; why was everyone else just standing around? . I thought all of the challenge stuff was so dumb but also interesting. I also thought that the parents' backstory was really interesting, as was how it affected Garrett.

Even though there were things that I didn't truly enjoy about these two graphic novels, I found the story contained in them to be engaging, and I also really liked the art style.

I overall enjoyed this story, but it did have some quirks that made me feel disconnected with the story/pulled me out. I loved the art style and the plot was, for the most part, enjoyable and easy to follow. I highly recommend this trilogy (Teen Titans: Raven, Teen Titans: Beast Boy, and Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven). It is a quick read series (I read all three within three days), and has some wonderful concepts and characters. I especially enjoyed the ongoing theme of protesting animal cruelty, particularly because it was executed very well while not disrupting the main plotlines. My only note is that there are some unrealistic moments that made me feel disconnected from the story, especially with dialog. I have left identical reviews on all the books within this series, just because I feel if you're going to read one, you should read them all. I hope this review was helpful and you give this series a shot!

In my personal opinion i think this is the perfect teenage dream from running away from home then they meet each other in Tennessee. It was just written so well. Really just made an amazing art style got to see raven and beast boys relationship together and they wrote it out super well but i wish there was a sequel to this series.

Really disappointing.

- The art was great
- the story for raven was mediocre and cliche as heck (its giving im an independent woman and i hate men, its frustrating cuz it couldve been done in a more mature way)
- the beast boy one was actually pretty goood
- the two of them together was alr

Just generally frustrated with the way they handled ravens characters

I love Teen Titans in general but Picolo's art? *chef kiss* I absolutely adore it.

Sure, it strives away from the og TT narrative, but overall it was still was an entertaining read. I hope to see more of BB & Raven together 🥰

I wasn't about to leave this box set at Barnes & Noble. Especially when it was the last one!!!
I've always wanted to get my hands on this comic when I found out Picolo was going to illustrate it. :)

Both volumes get a 5 Stars from me because I love the art style, love the storytelling (yes, it's different from the Teen Titans we all may have grown up with but I like the different spin on it), & I also got a cool sticker with the box set. ^_^ Honestly can't wait for the other volumes to come out to introduce the other characters & they join forces (well if that happens). I really just want to see what route this story will take. :)

We love the illustrations and my kids love reading graphic novels. It reminds me of reaching Archie comics back in my day!
My daughter who is 9, throughly enjoyed reading these books!  She especially loved Raven - being a female super hero.  She found them entertaining and exciting.
