Growth and Darkness!

There are so many things going on in this book, changes 4 years in the making, alliances and threats on so many different levels. On top of that to top it all off dragon politics and old gods. It was chaotic, full of twists and turns but also self doubt, pity which made me at times need to stop to put the book down to stop myself getting annoyed. Granted another amazing addition to the book and wonderful to see the changes wrought on the world by players from so many different sides. I wanna know how this is going to end I need to know how the guilds were lost but brought back as there is so much going on here.

The middle book of the trilogy has all of the hallmarks one expects from such. It features a small time skip from the first, and allows both the human and the dragon main characters to mature some based on their experience in the first of the series.

You get also to delve deeper into both the mysteries surrounding the world of Generica, and the shenanigans on Earth's side politics, plots, and... weirder characters.

Unlike many trilogies, it also concludes part of the story, rather than let everything remain dangling for a final resolution in book 3. It doesn't solve all, of course, but you have a definitive sense of book ending, which is rare for middle books in trilogies.

An interesting insight into what was, and what will be

With this entry, the prequel trilogy is, in my opinion, back on track. We learn a bit more about how the Ministry took power, and how the world of Generica Online became magical. There are still real world segments, but they take a back seat to GO, which is right and proper. I'm not certain what to make of the ending, but it feels like something that can wrap up in another book, which I am definitely looking forward to.

Some Answers, More Questions

this one has a dull-ish middle part, but everything else is engaging and mind bendy.
If you are trying to figure this out by trying together what you remember from Thread Bear and Small Medium Than This book is a treasure chest of clues and information.
Very good writing, great character progression, and just a few of the old silly touches that remind you That you're still in the same world as talking teddy-bears.

dragons, Dragons, DRAGONS!

Got money from downloading the Amazon photos app and then immediately didn't touch it...then yesterday I'm looking at reddit and someone had posted the first books picture and so decided to use it to buy both the 1st and 2nd book and gotta say, those were the best free $10 I've ever used so please keep the suspense going
