Rate this book
Is a sensitive tale about a young boy's strained relationship with his very proper grandmother. How will his Bubby react to the mischief he stumbles into? Surely, she's never acted like he did...or has she? By sharing long-ago events with her grandson, Bubby makes it clear that forgiveness is the key to healing relationships and letting love grow between people of all ages.

When someone moves into your house, even if it is your grandmother, it takes some adjustment. And, when young Donny gets into innocent trouble, I'm sure all kids will be wondering what will happen next.

I hope I have the chance to read this to the kids while they are still at the 'right age' to appreciate the story.

A “lecture” doesn’t get any better than this. What a great way to help someone learn correct from incorrect actions without labels.

FYI - a four-year-old recommended this book - handing it to me when I said I’d not yet read it.

I’m agnostic, but came across this book volunteering, and thought it was great! A great message for both kids and their elders. I also loved the explanations at the beginning and end to add a little more learning to the mix. Cute and meaningful, and I loved reading about another religion/culture.
