Didn't love it as far as a book to read to my daughter. For myself, I liked the concept... for a book to share with a toddler... not so much.

There's just not enough here for me to share with my students. I love wordless picture books but this just didn't have enough story.

This is a no-word book about a snowman that is built and then ends up melting. It is very simple with little illlustration. However, I would have fun with it in a classroom. I would have kids make their own version to the story and make snowmen out of cotton balls. Even though it is so simple things can be taught and lessons can be learned from it.

January 10, 2017Beautiful wordless book, as eloquent as any description of a winter afternoon, evening, night, and sunrise. (Theia's review: "Snowman melted...!" She was moved almost to tears by the bittersweet ending.)
