Lots of Fights
There were a lot of action and fight scenes in this one. In my opinion a little too much with the fights. Though I did like the continuation of Rasputina’s side of the story. Grok was like the annoying mosquito that you wanted to squash. Good ending and I liked how the loose ends were tidied up in the epilogue.

Things are hotting up for Terra, as the Ogre Chief keeps bringing in ever bigger, ever more vicious, opponents in the Ring.
While she continues fighting for her life, with everyone on Earth rooting for her, Anabelle is organising a rescue mission, with Abby.
When the time comes to move on the plan, the two women find things aren't exactly as they'd thought - but all three women join up, and show both the Ogres, and everyone on Earth, just what they are made of!
I enjoyed this book very much, though ill health had me reading it in dribs and drabs, but it kept my attention, when my body wasn't forcing me to sleep, so I consider that a real win! Lol
I'm going straight on to Book Four: ' The Deadliness of Light' or, in the Omnibus, this is called: 'Life's A Lich', so, once I've read that, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think of it!

Darker than black
Things are crazy, we see all our teams from Middang3ard jointing together with armies to defeat the Dark One.
Ramy has outdone himself, drawing together threads from the different series and showing amazing teamwork, extreme character development, and nail-biting action.
What could he possibly have for us in book 4???
(Hurry up, Ramy, I need to know!)

What am I to do now....yeah yeah yeah, I am back to work and all...but GEEESH, these books have gotten me through the PANDEMIC with sanity remaining! Well, at least in my mind~
