read this for a design book club,, thought it was a book but it’s more like a collection of posters with a paragraph every now and then. took about 20 minutes to finish. it’s entirely common sense but it is nice to be reminded of things sometimes. some of the pages could make nice decor if ripped out and framed I think (if you’re into swiss design). no harm no foul, but I don’t feel at all accomplished like I do after finishing a novel

I have picked up this book from our 3rd floor, which become a hunted floor due to the recent horror incident, yet another tech layoffs waves.

Book quickly captured my attention with the bright yellow and power font size. I believe, as the majority reader, this is a pocked book that we can place it in our desk, toilet or bedrooms, so that we can pick it up often enough to re-observer its essence.

Nevertheless, the author used very creative ways to conveys his messages, remind us with bold yet simple designed letters regarding what it actually takes to be better of ourselves. Some can complain it is yet another self-help books which wants to take the ride of multi-billion market demand, however, I am not in that mindset towards this book. I loved it, gives me positive vibes, showing me the way of ripping apart to bare essence, seeking understand, putting effort and enthusiasm to make things happen, stay hunger and creative to make a leap towards better future that we do what we love, we are what we love.

Stylish design but a little preachy in tone.

4.5. A bit like Paul Arden’s work. A few gems of wisdom, some nicely designed pages, etc
