A sweet and short love story between a vet and a guy who ended up with a matchmaking cat. Yeah, you have the cat's POV in this one and let me tell you, he needs his own book.
It's a clean romance and our hero and heroine actually went to the same school once. He, the scholarship-recipient and she, the rich girl who loves animals. I just love it. And the cat was just hilarious.

This love story begins with Boots, a cat living in the lap of luxury and giving us his first-hand story of how he lost his comfy situation in the 22-room mansion and his plan to get back into the life he truly deserves. When the elderly man who owned the mansion died, the maid put Boots in a carrier and her son, Caleb, took him in.
Now that Boots has had time to think over his situation, he needs his human, Caleb Miller, to carry out his plan. Boots had not been eating well and huddled under the bed ever since his change in lifestyle, so Caleb tooik him to the veterinarian just to be sure he was okay. Caleb and Victoria had gone to high school together, although they were not in the same social crowd since Victoria’s family was wealthy. Once Boots heard that, he stopped glaring and growling and showed a complete attitude change to the doctor. Caleb needs to fall in love with veterinarian, Dr. Victoria LeRoi. She invited him out for coffee as they were leaving!
When Victoria finally gets the nerve to ask Caleb to be her fake boyfriend for her cousin Cassie’s upcoming wedding, Boots’ plan is well underway, making him one very happy cat. It only makes sense! When they fall in love, they will have each other and Boots will be restored to his deserved position in the lap of luxury again. But he has to make sure they don’t let their fears get the best of them. And he also needs to make sure Victoria’s creepy ex-boyfriend Jonah and her snotty cousin Melora don’t tear them apart before they even get started! Will Boots be able to complete his plan and see Victoria and Caleb fall in love? Or will he have to take “paws-on” action to remove the other “threats” to his long-term goal?
This was a cute story where the reader gets the backstory of the characters and how thoughtful and kind Victoria and Caleb were even back in high school. And the cat’s part of the story will make the reader chuckle. When Caleb was picking a shirt for his first coffee date with Victoria, he asked Boots which one to wear. Boots thought the white one was too plain, so of course that’s the one Caleb chose! When he put it down on the bed and turned to get his pants, Boots stretched out on the white shirt to deposit fur and Caleb had to use the shirt Boots had selected. Being a former cat owner, I had that all figured out but still laughed out loud at the image! Grab this cute story and enjoy Boots, Victoria, and Caleb’s story!

Meet Boots, the cat. Accustomed to living in the lap of luxury in a modern-day mansion thanks to Cynthia the Cook, he has developed a snarky attitude. Cute romance story, with Boots, the cat, doing all he can do make sure this fake romance lasts. After his former owner passes away, he is handed off to Caleb, which means he went from having the run of a mansion to a tiny apt. Boots goes into a slump over how his life has changed and Caleb takes him to see Victoria, the vet, who it turns out is someone from Caleb's past. Boots notices the chemistry between the two and decides to do whatever it takes to make this romance happen, even as far as taking a couple dunks in the lake. He will do anything to get into a bigger house, but at the end he gets way more than he was after.

Purrfectly Matched is a clean, sweet romance that young teens and adults alike will enjoy. When I started this book, I couldn't put it down, and ended up reading it all in one day.
I fell in love with all the main characters in this book, especially the pampered cat named Boots. The cat's character was written exactly as I would imagine my cat talking and acting like. As the hero of the story (at least in his mind), he brings comedy and action into this story. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and have already recommended it to some of my friends and family!

People with cats, I am not one of them, often say that they are mysterious and in this book the driver behind the matching is the cat, Boots, who is in search of his own happily ever after - a more comfortable home. However, on his way to trying to upgrade his situation he certainly is doing a solid for Caleb, his human, and Victoria, the woman Caleb has longed for from afar and who has not had good luck in the romance department. There is so much to like about this quirky, cute story and it starts with Boots.

Boots was devious, finding ways to get his humans to do what he wants, so he can live the life he’s become accustomed to. Caleb was a sweet guy, who despite having to take Boots in and deal with his contrary behavior loves helping others, still has a crush on his high school friend Victoria and is happy to be her pretend boyfriend. There were a lot of funny moments and great characters in this sweet romance. Harley the neighbor’s dog is a goof ball and Zeno the proud cat with the reclusive neighbor who makes Victoria’s vet tech mad. I hope he and his owner get their own story.

I loved this book. It made me smile several times. Victoria is down to earth despite her upbringing, I miss more Caleb In real life, but Boots is the one who made this book outstanding to me. He’s self-centered, yes, but he wants the best for his man (and for himself). I loved his thoughts and interactions with the neighbor’s cat. And yes, maybe we humans all need a bit help from our animal friends, because „Humans can’t do anything right. No wonder the world’s such a mess.”.

What a charming and wonderfully sweet short story! At first I thought it might be a little strange reading from the point of view of a cat. But that's what made it so much fun to read! A delightful and unique story, full of great moments, this book will pull you right in and keep you engaged and smiling all the way through. The author does a great job of bringing the story to life with great characters that are lovable and endearing. Loved this story and I definitely recommend it!

This was a cute story of a cat who decides he wants a better life and sets out to make it happen. Victoria is a vet who meets Caleb when his newly adopted cat Boots needs a check up. Victoria asks Caleb for a favour. Boots sets out to get them together. Family drama and an ex make an appearance. I enjoyed this book. It was a sweet romance. I highly recommend this book.

This is such a cute story. Victoria needs a date for a wedding and she asks Caleb to be her fake date. Boots is thrilled with this so he can get back to the lap of luxury he craves. Once his owner Caleb moves this fake date to something real, Boots' plan will be complete. Now if only Victoria's ex and her cousin don't mess it all up. I enjoyed this fun, sweet romance. A nice, romantic comedy that definitely has you laughing out loud. This story is written from 3 POV"s , Caleb's, Victoria's and Boots the cat. The story is well written, captivating and humorous. The characters are fun, enjoyable and well developed. A great read when you need an escape from every day life and a great comical pick me up read.

A great sweet romance with a bit of a cat’s perspective. This was a fun read! I didn’t quite laugh out loud but there were some entertaining parts from a cats POV. The author did a great job including a cat and how it might “think” and act. The conflicts were real and I liked how things weren’t drawn out. The hero was “a good guy” and I really liked how the couple came together after knowing each other in high school. I look forward to reading more books by Christie Logan!

This was a really cute read!! I loved when the chapters are told from Boots' perspective!!! He's a great cat! Caleb and Victoria knew each other years ago. He still likes her, so when she asks him to be her fake boyfriend, he jumps at the chance. Boots is used to living in a mansion, and decides Caleb needs to marry Victoria so he can live in the comfort he's grown accustomed to. Now, if only the humans will do what Boots wants them to!!

This is the 5th book I've read written by Christie Logan; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

A different book for this author and it works. That’s three POVs for you, including Boots (the cat). A retelling of Puss in Boots, Caleb Miller sort of inherits Boots. Their vet? Victoria, the rich girl back in private school. Caleb? The scholarship kid with the lunch lady mom.
It feels like the writer had fun with this book and it shows.

I found myself laughing as I read. One cat named Boots, one unsuspecting man called Caleb Miller, and the woman Victoria LeRoi that comes into their lifes. Purrfectly Matched is absolutely adorable. I loved that we not only see the romance between Victoria and Caleb unfold before us from their perspective but also Boots, a rescued cat who unfortunately has been let down by humans in the past. This was a quirky and fun story with lots of laugh out loud moments. Boots definitely stole the show!

I loved this story. As a crazy cat lady I really identified with Boots and his plots and plans. This works well as a romance even if you aren't a cat person. Well worth reading

Cheesey but sweet and pretty funny in awkward ways it was a great read for a spring afternoon it gives a light hearted romantic feel to an already refreshing season

This was a sweet story, quick read, feel good kind of romance that made me happy and warm inside. Even when things didn't go "purrfect," I just knew Boots would make sure everyone got their happily ever after.

A fairly short cute modern romance story about two people brought together by a cat. The main characters are lovable, as are the animals, and the story moves along at a good pace. Typical Rom-Com style that is a fun read without any real shocks or surprises
