Of course it is impossible to make all but the tiniest quilt from one charm pack so the title is very misleading. I did learn a good technique of how to piece a backing together with two fabrics without making it look scrappy. The patterns were forgettable.

This is probably the BEST book! It definitely will resonate with quilters because everyone has charm packs and always saves them and never knows what to do with them.
The patterns are unique, the directions are clear and the alternate colorway for each will be very helpful for those who need help imagining the quilt being discussed.
I never say that I will run out and buy a book that I have reviewed but this is the ONE!

This author saw a need and filled it. There are lots of ideas for making quilts with just one pack of 5 inch squares, a background fabric, and one other fabric.
There is a house block with an easy idea for putting the chimney on the house, one using an hour glass block as the alternate block, one using background strips to off set each row.
I'll look for future books by Cheryl Brickey.

Very good!

I have made several quilts from this book, even as an experienced quilter. Great cutting instructions (always a plus!), and beautiful pictures. The downloadable coloring pages were an unexpected help as well!

Cat's Eye, Medallion, Blossom Chain. Quite a few in here I'd like to make!

I love the close-ups of the free-motion quilting designs.
