Life has been cruel to me over the last five years. Things happened back home which resulted in me deciding to move across the pond. Where do I call home? Queens, New York. I’m prospecting for the Iron Vex MC after meeting Iris at a pottery class I was taking at the local college. We quickly became friends, and one thing led to another.

Now I’m a super bad bitch, or at least that’s what I think.

I’m not from this life, but after everything with my family went south I decided I needed a change. I needed to live for my own happiness, not theirs. Coming out meant losing them forever, but I couldn’t hide who I was anymore. At least the club will accept me for who I am.

So much has changed from my confidence, to even the color of my hair. I’ve become accustom to change, though. So, it wasn’t a big deal when Boss asked me to be the regent for the Iron Vex MC. Yet again, everything is changing. I had no problem getting down to Franklin. It was my job to be in Horse’s club, so I’d be there.

Little did I know a ghost from my past would be walking through his front door.

I knew there was going to be someone coming down from New York to be the regent for the Iron Vex MC. It seems a bit historical to me, using the word and whatever, but here I am. One of our own is supposed to be going up to New York as we speak. An even trade off, ensuring our alliance is smooth sailing.

I didn’t expect much from one of them showing up. To be honest, I don’t know what I expected but it certainly wasn’t seeing Ainslee again.

Now here we are . . . and I wonder if this is our chance to see what we could’ve been all those years ago. From her appearance so much about her has changed, but selfishly I hope her heart hasn’t.

This book is a little different than what I'm used to reading. Vex is sent by the Iron vex mc to check on this cult Twister is having problems with. In doing so she meets up again with her one night stand. She's had a hard life and that's why she left Scotland to come to the states. Finley has made her own business and takes no crap from anyone. There's plenty of action and surprises too. I did expect they would be interacting more with the cult, but I think that's going to come out in another book. Fireworks When They Meet Again!!

Five years ago Finley and Ainslee/Vex meet and have a one night stand only to have Ainslee leave without a goodbye. Now fast forward and Vex is sent to be a decoy in order to find out about the cult that has been killing women in the Devil’s Riot MC Territory. She never thought she’d run into Finley and the reaction that Finley has toward her. All it took was showing up in Finley’s club with someone else for the sparks to fly.

That’s also the night that the cult struck again. Will Ainslee make it out of this alive and at the same time keep Finley and their little surprise safe? This series has really pulled me in and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Vex's Temptation is just that, very tempting. Finley and Ainslee/Vex are put together unknowingly. It's also unknown that they've met before.  Being back around each other just opens the door for all kinds of fireworks between these sexy vixens. They'll put us through a gamut of emotions and trust me there's nothing boring about them or their journey. We're in for an exciting ride with these two and all the chaos that comes their way.

I try not to leave many 1-star reviews, but sometimes … it’s needed.
This is probably just me venting with tons of spoilers so just skip over this if you don’t want the whole story spoiled in under 300 words.

Firstly, I am blaming my girlfriend for dropping the ball on this buddy read pick - might I add she didn’t even read it with me, though I did vent (a lot) so I guess she kind of did read it after all, sorry baby 😂

Anyway, let’s just sum this up real quick and call it a day so someone else can avoid the letdown.

Finley and Ainslee randomly meet and have a one-night stand when Ainslee is on holiday from Scotland, the next day Ainslee is gone and Fin is heartbroken aka her ego is bruised.

Fast forward 5 years and Fin is blindsided when Ainslee/Vex shows up at her door as part of an undercover deal with the MC club.
Fin is still head over heels with her and of course, treats her like crap and avoids her at all costs.
Ainslee still wants Fin, but is happy to find someone else.

Insert 50% ish of mindlessness that could have been used to build … Anything.

Then bam!
In ONE NIGHT, well actually a few hours, Fin see’s Ainslee with another woman at her club, orders her up to her office, declares her love, and gives a quick (mediocre) orgasm before sending her on her way so she can take care of business.

By business I mean a random guy comes to pay a debt to Fin in the form of a newborn baby, so, of course, Fin sets to legally adopt him in both her and Ainslee’s name because … I guess this is how things are done?

Yes, that is it. The end.

What. The. Actual. Heck?

This is not a complete story, there is no world, character, or relationship building, and all in all, there is really no sense to this story.
This also (for me) reads more like an M/F that was changed last minute to tick off the Sapphic box.

Very short FF story. Ainslee and Finley have brief history together and bad history after that. Especially Ainslee’s story is horrific, but there is a true family in the end. Finley’s friends and the are awesome and I await their stories. The search for the cult still goes on with more casualties along the way. This is not a “fun” story, but it is good. Not a lot of steamy moments, but some.

Vex’s Temptation is Book 3 of the Iron Vex MC series, by Elizabeth Knox and E.C. Land. This book is intense and the reunion of Finley & Ainslee (Vex) starts out on shaky ground. The tension between them build’s until there is an explosion. This book is very well written and I recommend it.

Vex and Finley’s story was kind of a wild ride! I wasn’t sure if they would kiss or kill each other. It’s such a great book! I love the mesh between Iron Vex MC and Devil’s Riot MC! I can’t wait to read more!

This was exceptionally well written with a twist that just makes me scamper for more. I am so excited for what is to come! The relationship between Fin and Ans is not only explosively sensual and remarkably exciting it shows that even with the time between they still are as perfect for each other as they were that first night. I am excited to see why the mark means that seems to popping up in the most opportune times. The relationship that is seen with all the players is exciting and really makes me feel as if they are a true family, even when they are trying to get under each others skin! Great story and an awesome addition to this series! I am glad ya'll decided to write this the way that you did! Refreshing! Remarkable! Renowned and Rare! SO excited!!!!

Finley and Ainslee had a great one night before Ainslee left to go back home in Scotland. Upset Finley because she snuck out. They both went through a lot of crap with their families both they kept sane. Ainslee was sent to Devil’s Riot MC in Virginia to be a decoy for the cult that is destroying women, she found Finley that was still upset with her. Finley had a big business when she saw Ainslee with another girl, Finley lost it. Finley told Ainslee that she was hers so things got worked out. Ainslee found the cult and was invited to one of their parties. Great book!!

Ainslee/Vex is sent to the devils riots MC as a decoy for the cult from the Iron Vex's MC. where she sees Finlay her one night stand. Finley is still upset with how things ended back in Scotland and being put together opens up a whole world or emotions for the pair. Can Vex get in with the cult to help the MC's and can her and Fin work out their past to have a future? well written a great addition to the series and cross over too!

Where do I start....
This is not a book. It's not even a complete story !!! And the authors don't think things through. Fin's in her office on the 3rd floor. Looks out the window. Over looking the dance floor.... on the 1st floor..... what about the brothel on the 2nd floor ????

Y'all need to think things through a little bit

And your characters honestly seem like nothing more than a bunch of sociopaths.

I'm sorry I picked these last 2 books.

Vex's Temptation by Elizabeth Knox/E.C. Land is a fast paced story of what transpires when Vex/Ainslee is sent by Boss to Horse's club as a regent for the Iron Vex MC when an alliance is formed to finally put an end to the cult that are targeting young women. But Vex will be in for a shock when she learns whose house she will be staying at. Finley is this hard edgy sexy woman who has built a world of wealth for herself that is dark, dangerous and full of violence. Danger, and violence is surrounding her club as the women who work for her are being targeted by the cult. On top of all of this, Finley has to deal with this visitor from the Iron Vex MC who is about to disrupt her life. Finley has been tormented by one woman who has changed her life five years ago and the night of passion they shared when she left without saying goodbye. Finley could never forget her and no other women could bring Finley peace. Now Finley will come face to face with her past, the visitor from the Iron Vex MC is none other than Ainslee, who is about to disrupt her life once again.

When these two come face to face all of the desire and emotions from the past come to the front. Finley is angry at Ainslee and storms out, but these two will soon learn that they both can't forget what they shared. Jealous and angry when she learns Ainslee is at her club with a date, Finley storms to the club to confront her. When Finley brings Ainslee to her office the confrontation between them becomes explosive as they talk about what they both had to deal with the five years they have been apart. But the one thing they find that they still desire each as they both give into all of the desire they bring out in each other as Finley claims Ainslee as hers. Once they capture one of the men who beat the girl that Ainslee was on a date with, Finley is told that more women will be targeted as they are sinners and that these men will never give up as more are coming as they threaten Finley. Ainslee's mission is to integrate herself as a student at the college campus to flush these men out to end to this cult. When she is told by Boss that a man who is in charge of a fraternity may be the key, Ainslee makes a play for Dominic and is invited to the next party. Will this put Ainslee in danger? Will Horse and Finley get to Ainslee in time and put an end to this cult? Or will Finley lose the one person who means the world to her? This story will have you on edge as we have to wait for the next book to find out if they will finally end the war that is coming for them.

A great story, until the end

As much as I love reading the works of these two authors, I doubt that I'll continue reading this series, or any that's connected to it, new or old. It's not that it's not really good, interesting, and more, because it is. However, I hate cliffhanger stories, but even more so, I do not want to wait for a year or more (if they decide during the year to change things again) for the conclusion of this couples story.
I read at least 5-7 books per week, and I can't keep up with stories/characters/plots that span over a few books, let alone over the course of a year or more. I really don't see how anyone can, or should be expected to. I always try to make sure that whatever I'm going to read doesn't involve cliffhangers or continuing stories, and if it does, I won't start them until all of the books have been released. (There's very few author's who I will even consider doing this to read their books) I read a lot of MC books, and these are difficult enough to keep up with when there are multiple chapters involved. However, when you add even more clubs/characters/plots/etc, then add cliffhangers to the mix on top of all of this, it's almost impossible to keep everything and everyone straight, especially when it's spread out over the course of several years.
I have been reading this author duo for quite some time, and I really hate having to stop reading anything written by them. Unfortunately, I have already had to give up on 2 of their series' for this exact same problem, and now it looks like this will be one more I'll have to give up.
I understand that every author has their own way of writing and I respect that. I would never expect any of them to change to fit the needs of the reader.
I would recommend this book, series, and author. However, just be prepared for the cliffhanger ending that will be continued throughout the year.

Ainsley 'Vex' agrees to become regent for the Iron Vex MC while she goes undercover to find the cult beating and killing women.

Finley has taken over her father's business as well as created Night's Bliss dance and entertainment club.

Both of the these ladies have had traumatic life struggles to overcome making the harder, tougher women than they used to be. They met five years ago for a steamy one night stand and Ainsley disappeared without a word. When they meet again five years later Finley realizes she's still pissed for the way Ainsley left her and wants Ainsley in her life permanently.

I liked these characters but the transition from zero to instantly mine seemed forced. These two spent more time apart in this novella than together and except for their heat sexually it was hard to feel the emotional connection.

A lot of interesting new faces and cameo's from Reapers MC and Devil's Riot MC. By the end several story arcs were started but nothing seemed finished.

At the end of the story the authors note suggest that Ainsley and Finley's story is going to be told over this novella and two others coming in 2021. The novellas will take place in the Iron Vex MC and Night's Bliss worlds.

Ainslee met Finley while she was in the States the day before her scheduled return to Scotland. They had an explosive one-night stand and she returned home...five years later, Ainslee was given the job of being the Regent between the Iron Vex M/C from New York and the Devil's Riot M/C in the Virginia area to find out more about a cult targeting young women. Since she has her degree, she will go undercover as a graduate student with the Iron Vex footing her education bill...she is staying with people who own some area clubs who are "friends and associates" of the Devil's Riot. The club Night's Bliss has a regular nightclub on first floor, with a second floor with more "intimate" offerings and rooms for the girls, who work on the second floor, on the third floor...Finley owns the club and when she sees Ainsley, the one that got away...is not exactly happy to see her...but you will need to read this story to see the progress made in finding the cult and if Finley and Ainslee can redefine their relationship...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a very quick read. Set in Knox’s Iron Vex MC world, I’m familiar with the characters, but this is the first FF story arc. Finley and Ainslee have a complicated history that comes back full circle when Ainslee (Road Name Vex) is sent in as regent to the Devil’s Riot MC. Their President has her staying at Finley’s home not knowing about their history. These books are short so they have that InstaLove/InstaLust quality that sometimes has fallen short in the connection department. With these two ladies having a past, it helps the story flow more realistically. That being said Finley and Vex’s chemistry fell a bit flat for me. I think I would prefer a longer story or additional books to help cultivate their relationship. With so much going on in the books (the club regent thing, the Cult investigation, Fin’s business dealings) it seemed like their relationship was just thrown at us. It was a lot of storyline but not a lot of book. I do love that Knox and Land create such amazing characters, and there is so much we need to know that I’m hooked to find out what happens. If you’re already invested in the series the book won’t disappoint, but it’s definitely not a standalone.

This book was a quick read. Ainslee and Finley had previously had a one night stand. Fast forward a few years and they come face to face again. Both having changed a lot and Finley still holds a grudge for the way Ainslee left after their one night together. What will happen when Finley finds Ainslee with a new women? Can their be a future for them; Or will the new women cause a problem. Both now are with or have ties with different MC’s and are thrust into living together. The cult that has been taking girls has been doing so outside Finley’s club and Ainslee is trying to use her college as a way to get info on this cult. Then we have a guy try and pay his gambling debts to Finley with a baby? Talk about a lot of drama in one short book. But this is not the last we will hear about these two and what will happen with this cult? We’ve been teased with the Cult story line in both RBMC and the Iron Vex MC books.

I really enjoyed reading this book.
The story was very well written and had me sucked in
from page one. This is a F/F story.
This book is the 3rd book in the Iron Vex MC series.
Ainslee first meets Finley 5 years ago.
They have one night of passion because Ainslee has to go back to Scotland.
Flash forward 5 years and Ainslee is now a member of the Iron Vex MC.
She is the regent between Iron Vex and the Devil's Riot MC. She will be posing as
a college student to help both clubs take down the cult that is causing the clubs problems.
Finley took over her father's dealings. She has a deal with Twister.
He asks her to host the member from the other club, but she has no idea that it is Ainslee.
Vex and Finley have amazing chemistry.
To find out what happens between these women read this book.

These 2 authors just get better and better with their stories. They keep you wanting more and more books from them. Loved this book. Ainslee & Finley met when Ainslee was on holiday in the US. What better way to know one another is to hook up for the night. But when Ainslee leaves in the morning without saying anything, that leaves Finley angry. Five years later and they meet again. Ainslee/Vex is sent as a Regent to work with the Devils Riot and also try and catch the cult members that killed Boss's dad. Vex doesn't know that Finley is the owner of Night's Bliss when she's there on a date with Kayla a school mate from the university she's attending. This pushes Finley over the edge and publicly claims Vex as her own. If she's in her club, town and living at her house then she's hers. The story progresses from there, but leaves you wanting more of an ending to their story. But it doesn't happen until maybe the next book. A must read.

Ainslee/Vex is the club member Boss sends down to the Devil's Riot MC as Regent...they are working on trying to find who is hurting women and she is hoping to find information on who it is. She is sent by Twister over to Finley's home or fort as they call it to stay so nobody can put her in with the Devil's Riot MC. When she gets there she realizes that she knows Finley from a one night stand 5 years ago. Finley is pretty pissed because the didn't like the way that Ainslee just left without saying goodbye because she knew they had a connection. Ainslee had went back home to Scotland only to be thrown to a monster by her parents and she has some traumas from that. But she goes on a date and Finley decides then and their to get her head out of her behind and claim her woman. This is a great story with some really great side characters and action going on.

This is another great read in this great series they are only shortish reads so everything happens at a break neck speed in this case it doesn't feel rushed as these two main characters have history with one another

Finley knows that someone is coming from the Iron Vex MC to try to help with the local girls that are going missing It is believed that some sort of cult is taking them and the president of the Devil's Riot MC has asked Finley to let her stay at her home What Finley didn't expect is the Vex the person coming is actually Ainsley a woman she had a one night stand with five years earlier She awoke the next morning to find her gone with not even a message or phone number left and she ahs to admit she has never really forgotten her. Can they get over the situation between them to work together to solve the problem in the clubs and will they give into their attraction for one another again and if they do can they have a future You will have to read to see

I love the series but I wish it was more longer.

So no doubt I love this series and characters and this is why I still give it a 4 1/2 stars. However, one thing I wish and say is that I hope 🤞🏻 on the next books Elizabeth writes her story a little much longer in order to see a complete ending. For example, the purpose Vex went down to Twister club is to go undercover at camps to figure out who are killing these women in town. But, it was never address that much throughout the story just that women are getting attack. I wish we could had seen vex getting the information and boss coming down and getting the club together to get at least some new answers but only at the end it leave us with a cliffy that she finally gets a way in but then what happens. I know we will get more books on Vex and Fin so hopefully we can get more answer to my many questions.

I really enjoyed this book. The authors have joined together with Vex’s Temptation,involving a crossover between two great MC series. They are both sending a regent to the other’s club in hopes of improving the relationship between the two clubs with other reasons that become more apparent as the storyline progresses (sorry I don’t do spoilers). Little does Vex/Ainslee (a member of the Iron Vex MC) know that sending her down to the Devil’s Riot MC will bring her face to face with Finley, the best one night stand she’s ever had. Their reconnection is not all sunshine and roses, but it is well worth the read.

Highly recommend grabbing up Vex’s story as well the prior 2 books in the series.

This is a twisted tale of two women who years ago had a one night stand, but never forgot the other.
One was an Irish Catholic girl, who was trying to come to terms of her sexuality and to try to explain it to her parents.
The other was a surfer girl, who had no problem expressing her sexuality and was proud of it.
Now years later, they meet again and have a problem with each other, but must work together to try to find a cult that kidnaps,beats and kills women who they think are unclean or just plain not good enough to be on the earth around other people.
Together they work with other MC’s, as well as Vex’s MC, to try bring said cult to justice. As they work together,they realize that their feelings for one another never really went away, and they are getting a second chance at their love.

This is book three of six in the Iron Vex MC series by Elizabeth Knox. It is a quick and short read with a little over 100 pages. This is Ainsley and Finleys story.

Ainsley and Finley met before Finley was supposed to return to Scotland. They spent one night together, but when morning came Ainsley was not there. Finley did not know how to get in contact with her. Years have passed, and Finley now runs a MC. She agrees to take on a regent from the Iron Vex MC and send one of her people in trade. However, she will never realize who they will be sending until she is there. How will things go since it has been years since they have seen each other?

INSTA-LOVE AT IT'S WEIRDEST.

Basically two women have a one night stand - which started in an alley & ended up in bed. However, one did the 'next morning sneak out'

Then there is a five year hiatus.

Then when they see each other again, there is about a week of animosity & avoidance due to how the one night stand ended.

Then one of them goes on a date in the other woman's club.

But the women who owns the club isn't having it. So she claims the other woman on her date, in an unbelievable & spectacular fashion.

Then BAM! That same night, they claim their love for each other & that it will be forever. ALSO THE SAME NIGHT, a child falls in their lap & BAM - they are also co-parenting a baby together!!!

TOO CRAZY FOR ME, FOR SURE.

This is Ainslee and Finley and their story. Ainslee has been through a lot and moved from her homeland to America and left her family when she came out. Finley is part of another MC. Finley and Ainslee spent a night together a long time ago and they knew it was no strings attached, but still when Ainslee left in the middle of the night without any note, number nothing. Now here they are with many experiences and time between them. Will they be able to pick up where they left off? The characters are just amazing and their interaction was great. The story was great and hooked me from the very first page. This is worth reading.

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series and is Ainslee / Vex and Finlay’s journey. These two had a one-night stand before she left to return home. These two have both had tough lives, and when they meet again Finlay is still upset at the way Vex just left. Vex has a job to do and that is to act as a decoy to infiltrate a cult which is murdering women in the Devil’s Riot MC territory. Can these two finally be together? This is a well written tale which has explosive chemistry, action, surprise, twists, and is an intense and all-consuming story, which these gifted author’s have done an outstanding job in waving. I look forward to reading more from them and I highly recommend their work for all MC lovers.
