About the author

Born in New York City, Paul Selig attended New York University and received his master's degree from Yale. A spiritual experience in 1987 left him clairvoyant. Selig is considered one of the foremost contributors to the field of channeled literature working today.

Paul offers channeled workshops internationally. He serves on the faculty of The Omega Institute, The Kripalu Center and the Esalen Institute. Also a noted playwright and educator, he served on the faculty of NYU for over 25 years. He directed the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Goddard College for many years, and he now serves on the college's Board of Trustees. He lives in New York City where he maintains a private practice as an intuitive and conducts frequent livestream seminars. Woo woo or fundamental truths? The more I immerse myself in these lectures, the happier I become. My ideas about my reality and myself are challenged. I am also challenged to bring greater awareness to my conscious and unconscious beliefs, patterns of thought and behaviour, fears, needs, intentions and so much more. It is not always comfortable, but I have found it to be an invaluable endeavour to put in the work. After reading each book, I come away with an even deeper understanding of who I am and how to express my highest and most authentic self more and more consistently in each moment of my life. I highly recommend Paul’s channelled work.

Paul does it again

Another great book from Paul & the guides. The words and attunements. Can be felt as they are read or listened to. I love how Paul records the book so it is like you are sitting there with him.

I've read all of the books in this series (multiple times) of 9 books and connect with all of the info conveyed here. This won't be for everyone, but if those new to Selig's come to it with an open mind, they may be pleasantly surprised. If it helps, all of his books have very high ratings on numerous platforms. Highly recommended.

The Kingdom by Paul Selig is book #3 in a series of channeled texts called The Beyond the Known Trilogy. The first book is called Beyond the Known: Realization, and the second in the series is entitled Alchemy.

The trilogy is channeled by Paul with the so called wisdom of “The Guides” he interacts with in his process. The first book offers a look at the experience that left Paul clairvoyant and able to communicate with specific intelligent spirits he calls “The Guides.” The second book goes into more of these channelings by describing the reader moving “beyond a limited interpretation of the self and into a place of true manifestation” through the insight and direction of “The Guides.” This last book in the series (the one I am reviewing here) encourages readers to dwell in the world that Paul has created through these channelings.

Quite honestly, I’m not sure what the exact purpose of this book is other than to sell more books and make more money off of this author’s grift that he is clairvoyant and knows things we don’t. The book felt repetitive in ideas and wording (ie: saying “the kingdom” every page) and was overtly preachy.

I didn’t learn anything more than what I already knew. It felt like going to church when I was a kid but with a preacher who thinks he hears voices. If that is your thing then this book might be your jam. It wasn’t mine.

This was my first encounter with Paul Selig’s channeled work. It’s also the third book in a series and the ninth book he has channeled from his guides. So I felt a bit late to the party and struggled a bit at first with the language which can be quite dense and which holds quite specific meanings not always obvious to the uninitiated

Primarily this book is a guide to recognising and reclaiming the Divine within ourselves and indeed in all things. But it first requires an unpicking of the assumptions on which most of us have based our lives and this was probably the hardest part to grasp intellectually.

I took it slow and steady, sometimes even reading aloud to help my understanding, and the effort was worth it. The closer attention I paid to the text - not just the intellectual content but the sound and rhythm and cadences - the more I got from it. The guides say the book is primarily experiential and that was certainly true for me.

I feel like I have been somewhere, seen something and heard something quite new and something that will continue to reverberate and change my experience and understanding of the world for some time to come.

Life changing

I stumbled across work in 2017 when I was at a junction in life when I was searching for more answers. This body of work has changed me from the inside out and allowed me to express myself in a way that I never thought was possible. This book called the kingdom is a testament to the divine within us all, and I look forward to being the teaching rather than talking about it. I am grateful to my soul for bringing to this work, and whoever goes on this journey will not regret it

I have read this book thoroughly through at least 3 times and produced a podcast on it. If you're looking for transformation and understanding the process of alchemy and going up in frequency, read this series. Any one of them, any part of them. They are that good.
