Not sure why I enjoyed this so much. It is just about a girl’s experience of being lost in the woods. It somehow managed to keep me completely enthralled.

It was nice and well written. This was the first book written by Stephan King that I have read.
In a few words this is a book about survival, hopes and fears of a nine years old girl who gets lost in a jungle.
The beautiful parts of the book are her thoughts and the way she tries to comfort herself.

I reserve 5-star ratings for books I think should be mandatory reading for everyone, so don't let the 4 stars dissuade you, this was excellent!

A bit of a slow start, but toward the end I definitely couldn't stop before finding out what happened!

I actually would have liked a bit more epilogue. That's not one you usually hear!

I did not enjoy his book very much. Although the story was well written the plot was slow and little bit hard to understand. Personally I enjoy books that have a little bit more action in them and for me this book just didn't include that. Although the book still had some very good moments overall I just wasn't the biggest fan.

When I saw the author's name I cried "Stephen King!" And then I saw the explanations of some baseball terms in "a note about this story", I whispered "Oh, no." It turned out that this was a story about a girl's adventure in woods and I enjoyed it.
