Melodie Banfield wants to make a difference, and as a teacher, she believes she can do so in Bluff Springs. Leaving Philadelphia, and an inadequate love behind her, she is looking forward to a new adventure. Romance really isn’t in the air for either Melodie or Evan. Melodie is leaving Philadelphia to escape a controlling boyfriend whom she has realized is not what she expects and wants in a husband. Evan has spent 5 years nursing his anger over Sarah’s and Tom’s betrayal. Grace Clemens had written their story with interesting characters, humor, conflicts, friendships and romance. As always, I enjoyed this story.

She has several reasons to moving to a small town. One is her dream of being a teacher and finding a husband. But things are not always that easy. He is determined not to get in deep again but it isn't easy after seeing her. It is exciting, emotional, suspenseful, twists and turns. Well written and grabs your attention and keeps it. I really enjoyed reading it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

This is a very good story by this author about love and family and betrayal Melodie moved West to be a schoolteacher and she met Evan Stanwick and fell for Each other but her sister in law interferes and gets things all twisted up but things work out.The characters are strong and emotional and this is a well written and enjoyable story

New beginning are possible.
Oh, I loved the twists in this one the piece is full of suspense, emotions it was exciting and grabbed my attention I so enjoyed reading this piece. A betrayal will cloud the feelings Evan may be experiencing and for Melodie not being controlled is not anything she wants so for both trust is a major issue. It would seem that in this small town new beginning are possible. I loved the book and I highly recommend it.

She is leaving behind a man who wanted to marry her, but as a trophy, not love. They are attracted to each other, but others are not happy with this and try to thwart them. How it works out is interesting. Learning to trust each other despite past experiences is a theme.

A cute story about a girl who comes west to make a difference as a school teacher and a almost recluse rancher who had vowed never to love again. Melodie Banfield wants a strong but gentle man and Evan Stanwick and fate puts the two together. This makes for a sweet live story that has a feel good ending that will tug at your heart.

Beautiful love journey
Beautiful love story. I absolutely loved it all, the characters are amazing so is story line. It’s quite an interesting and entertaining adventure to a sweet and happy ending. The extended epilogue is definitely a beautiful ending to the story. It’s absolutely amazing and a must read. Excellent writing.

This is a wonderful story, a rancher and a city
Lady teacher, who discover they enjoy each other's company. But the closer they get a jealous woman will do terrible deeds to keep them apart. But the truth will come out, and Evan and Melodie will find their happy ever after.

Inspirational romance
I dislike drama.. But I do have to say the story was good over all. You need to put the extended epilogue with the story. I dislike that they are not attatched.

I enjoyed the book. The characters were well thought out and their interactions kept the reader guessing what was going to happen next. The Epilogue was just the right ending.

Evan Stanwick is no stranger to heartache. This hardworking rancher decides after having his heart broken to build up his ranch. When he meets the new school teacher Melodie Banfield from Philadelphia he is secretly admiring her. Such a sweet historical read you won't want to put down.

Emotional
It's amazing how we humans can't control our emotions and even ruin our lives and even others. I feel hopeful for Evan and Melody but very worried for Tom and Sarah.
