Kit

Molly Lynch isn’t like any woman I’ve met before. The pretty, ball-busting reporter has a penchant for asking questions that dredge up memories I’d rather keep buried. I answer them, though, because I’m so intrigued by her—a mix of shy and bold, so set in her ways that the slightest change knocks her off kilter. The closer Molly gets to my dark truth, though, the more I try to shift her focus to what I want most—her total surrender to me in the bedroom.

Molly

I finally have the life I’m meant for. Predictable. Boring. Safe. NHL player Kit Carter upsets the stability I crave when he looks at me with his dark eyes, wounded and guarded, but also swirling with desire. I can’t let him figure out who I truly am—driven not by ambition but by anxiety. Unable to let go of my control, even for a second. There’s something about Kit that draws me to him so powerfully it’s no longer a choice, though. I need to give in, even if it costs me everything.

Kit is a guy who prefers not to attract any attention to himself. He loves to play the game and enjoys the friendships he has with his teammates in the Chicago Blaze. He is not interested in hooking up with puck bunnies and is more known for the charity work he does. For this reason he has piqued the interest of the local paper as someone of interest to do a special feature on.

Molly is more of a hard hitting reporter but due to staffing issues at the paper she is assigned the task of interviewing Kit Carter. She likes to research as much as she can, she plans to have several different meetings with him and some of the people he knows to get a clear picture of him and which angle she will be taking with her story.

Kit was not expecting Molly to be so intriguing. She seems to have the ability to pull things out of him that he hasn’t spoken of for a long time. He just feels comfortable sharing things with her and wants to know as much about her as she does him. She is fiercely independent and doesn’t like to step out of her comfort zone. Challenge accepted as far as he’s concerned.

Kit’s blatant flirting with Molly is very flattering at first but she soon realises he really wants to date her. After setting a deadline of sorts with him she finally agrees to dinner. Things seem to escalate quite quickly from here and to be honest it did feel a little bit too rushed. It felt like it went against her nature in a way but lust definitely takes over.

Kit has shared so much of himself with Molly but she knows he is holding something back. After being married to a guy who wasn’t honest, she doesn’t think she could ever risk going through that again. If Kit wants to truly be with her he needs to man up and open up.

Another great story in the Chicago Blaze series with plenty of cameos from the previous characters.

I love a good sports romance—especially when it involves hockey—and Brenda Rothert’s Chicago Blaze series is one of my favorites!

Kit is a mild-mannered, quiet, non-attention seeking player. He’s more than happy letting his teammates take the lead and the glory. He just wants to play the game and be a good team player. Until he’s thrust into the spotlight through a newspaper promo that requires him to be interviewed for an in-depth article. It’s the last thing he wants to do but he’ll do it because that’s just who he is.

Molly has put her heart and soul into her job at the newspaper, and with her eyes on the prize of a promotion, she’s appalled to be assigned to write a “fluff piece” about a hockey player. This is the last thing she’s got time for, but when she meets Kit for the first time, boy do the sparks fly.

But how will Kit and Molly make things work for them—AFTER the article is finished, because Molly wouldn’t do something improper like date her source—once Kit realizes that Molly’s not going to be satisfied with his usual answers and lack of depth in his responses. Will the truth set them both free, or will keeping the secret prove to be a hard line when it comes to falling in love?

I so loved the kickstart to Kit and Molly’s romance. Loved how Molly stood her ground, loved how Kit waited her out. Because once they got together, their romance was magic. Until it wasn’t.

And that’s a bit how I felt too—that something got lost a bit once the truth was revealed. I’d have liked to have seen what happened with the confrontation, liked to have seen some of the fallout. But overall, the romance between Kit and Molly, plus the interactions with all the other Blaze players and their loves really made Kit shine. And the preview for the next one? O.M.G. I can’t wait! ~ Missy, 4 stars

Oh my goodness but she gets some great covers for the Chicago Blaze Hockey Romace series. I’ve loved every one so far. Up until Anton was my favourite. But the other day I opened my Kindle and saw this book there; I’d forgotten I preordered it, I must admit I sat up and said “oh Mamma!” While I still love Anton, this took over first place. Look at it! Isn’t it just so yummy??? Anyway, onto the book.

Brenda Rothert is an autobuy author. I’m pretty sure I own and have read her entire back list, some books more than others. So I would have bought this book anyway – but as one who has bought books based on the cover…. No! I’m talking about the book itself now. Focus.

Molly, our heroine, is an investigative report who is pretty much married to her job. She a bit compulsive about keeping everything in exact order and as we learn more about her, we understand why. She’s prickly at first but we come to understand why and that makes her ever so much likeable, not that I don’t like a prickly heroine. I do like them. She is assigned to do a weekend living style article on Kit Carter, a hockey player for the Chicago Blaze. Now she is an investigative reporter so her first inclination is to find any dirt. But when she interviews him and others who know him, he comes across as a truly great guy. And since the is a duo POV story, we see that he is indeed an outstanding hero. While he plays, he’s not a player if you know what I mean. He’s a bit on the quiet side but well liked by his fellow team members. The coaches he had while moving up the ranks all praise him and Molly even interviews his sister and is impressed.

As she slowly comes to see he’s the real deal, she develops a growing attraction to him and he to her. I love this book. I love Molly and Kris. It’s nice to catch up with some of the characters from previous books. I would definitely read and love this book even without the cover. If I had one ask, it would be that it be longer and we got to learn more about Molly especially. The book ended a bit abruptly but there is an author note where Brenda acknowledges this and the reason why and tempts us with hope there may be more between these two. It’s not a cliff hanger ending but a happy for now. But because I enjoyed this book so much and Molly and Kit as individuals and as a couple I really hope she comes out with what happens after this one ends.

It's amazing how important her note was to my overall impression of the book is. It’s kind of like she is saying “I know, I know but don’t give up.” I won’t Ms. Rothert. This book is an A read and your note made it A+. And can I just say that cover…….

I love this series, and I loved Kit and Molly's story, even though it left me with wanting more. There were so many avenues left to explore in this story, so many questions that were left unanswered for me. I felt that I could've read another 50 -- 100 pages of this book --that would've made me extremely happy because I found the characters and the storyline that good. I wanted more of everything!

Kit's a hockey player for the Chicago Blaze. He's a nice guy with a good reputation; not known as a 'player'. But he's not really looking for a relationship. Kit likes to be in control in the bedroom...but why is that?

Molly is an investigative reporter assigned to do a feature story on a local celebrity for her newspaper. Kit is her assignment, and sparks begin to fly as she spends more time with him. Kit finds Molly's quirky personality and social anxiety endearing, and the two of them are at ease around each other. They click. But Molly has baggage from a past marriage that's left her self esteem a bit shot. And Kit has a troubling secret from his past that's stopping him from trusting anyone who gets too close to him. Can this couple who seem so good together get past the walls that are keeping them from truly connecting?

Very relatable characters, a decent plot, a story that moves very quickly, appearances from characters of previous books, a nice bit of steam--what more could you want? Just more. Just a little bit more (which the author hints may be coming one day) and this would've been a 5 star read!

And only one more book coming in this series (with some of the Best covers...) makes me a bit sad...

Kit by Brenda Rothert is the story of NHLer Kit Carter and newspaper reporter Molly Lynch.

Kit and Molly meet as she does a story about him and the reader can instantly feel the connection these two have.

Kit is such a wonderful character; and it truly was so wonderful to read about a man who loves hockey, gives back to the community, and isn't a dick to a woman. He just a good day making his way through life. Though Kit has a past that comes into play (one I wish the reader did get a bit more of) it does not make him a jerk.

Thank you to the author for writing a wounded not perfect male lead; Kit was so wonderfully imperfect.

Kit and Molly fit so well together; they truly care about each other and support each other.

I adored how the theme here was neither Molly or Kit wanting to fix each other. They come together accepting each other and simply wanting to make the other happy.

Molly's Gram was awesome and the way her dog Mr. Darcy played into the story was epic!

Though this book is part of Rothert's Chicago Blaze series it is easily read standalone.

For lovers of the series yes many of the prior heroes, Kit's teammates' play are around!

I am very excited for the team owner Olivier next in you guessed it Olivier!

Rothert did a wonderful job with the characters in this story, I do feel I have to add that with a good content editor this could have been a 5 star read...

When I closed the book these characters continued to run through my head... but it just felt well not complete..... or maybe rushed at the end.

You would never think that Molly and Kit would be compatible. Kit is a Chicago hockey player who is outgoing and in the public eye. Molly is a workaholic journalist, doesn’t like the limelight, and is divorced after being married to a super jerk. Even though Molly’s coworkers loved to kid her about being so precise about everything, you could tell they all liked her a lot. I feel her life changed for the better when she was assigned to do a personal story on Kit. You couldn’t help but love Kit and how he helped so many people, especially children in the hospital at Christmas. There are reasons behind that. He also has a secret he never wants to tell Molly. Molly though is so comfortable with Kit and honest. There are a couple of things that broke my heart too. This is a good book that I encourage you to read. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

4.5 star Review Kit (Chicago Blaze #8) by Brenda Rothert

From start to finish Brenda Rothert drew me in and had me invested with the story she wove about offensive lineman Kit Carter and Molly Lynch. This is the eighth book in the Chicago Blaze Hockey Romance series and was a good addition to one of my all time favourite hockey series.
Although Kit is not a particularly long book, Ms.Rothert certainly packed quite a punch with this story. When Molly, a local journalist is tasked with writing a story on Kit, neither of them have no idea what is in store for them.
Kit is one of the good guys, but he has his secrets and as Molly digs deeper, he has concerns that his darkest secret will be revealed. However the attraction that sizzles between Kit and Molly is hard to resist and once the story is filed Kit finally convinces Molly to take a chance and go on a date with him.
Molly is such a shy, socially awkward woman who doesn’t feel that she deserves Kit and cannot see where she can fit into his life. However, Kit has fallen hard for Molly and he is determined to show her how good they are together. The banter was witter and I loved how snarky Molly could be on occasion.
This one was also emotional as Kit confronts his past and shares with Molly all that he has been through. I applaud Ms.Rothert for her handling of such a horrendous subject, she handled it with dignity and respect and I applaud her willingness to discuss such subjects.

What do I read on a lazy Sunday afternoon? An amazing 5 star story by Brenda Rothert. I read it all in an afternoon. It’s that amazing.

Kit is an hockey player and Molly is a journalist who needs to write a piece on him. She’s straight forward and very professional. But can she resist Kit’s charms?

I love this series very much. It’s a sports romance but with all the feels. It’s addicting and captivating. Beautifully written with a storyline that had me hooked. Bottomline this is a must read.

This story is part of a series but can be safely read as a standalone. I would recommend to read them all because they are all so amazing. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

I can't believe how emotional Brenda Rothert has been able to make each and every one of the stories in her Chicago Blaze series.
In this one, Molly is the reporter who is trying to make her way to the "city beat". Of course to do this she is at work at least 12 hours every day. She walks to and from every where she has to go. Takes on every assignment she can grab. She is a workaholic. No time for love and romance. Her grumpy boss assigns her to do a feature on a hockey player. Sports, she doesn't work the sports stories?!
Kit is the quiet but still a force to be reckoned with on the Chicago Blaze team. A bachelor but not a manwhore. He is happy to keep his private life private. He hates to do interviews but he has been chosen to be featured in the special feature section of the newspaper. When he meets with Molly, there is more than to be uncovered than his life story. Molly and Kit are drawn to each other but they must resist until after the story is published. But what Molly uncovers about Kit's life may be a game changer and they must fight those skeletons in the closet to get their happy ending.

Brenda Rothert's Kit adds another heartfelt story to her Chicago Blaze series.

Kit Carter was gorgeous, talented and popular but there was something that just did not fit with the public persona he projected. Molly Lynch was career driven yet struggled with her personal interactions. Both seemed like opposites, Kit with his easy going manner and Molly with her serious disposition yet both shared personal pain that drew them to each other and intuitively made them aware that there was more to what they saw in each other at first glance and real potential for love. The attraction between this couple was well defined and kept up a steady interest in their relationship throughout this work.

Brenda Rothert is a writer who generally hits the mark. Kit was well paced and there is no doubt that this author is a talented writer. Ms. Rothert definitely generated interest in and empathy with her characters, where this work struggled a bit was in its resolution. There was some serious subject matter broached in this story that felt like its revelation was rushed and then glossed over with the characters never really resolving a very serious issue but rather continuing on in a mutually accepted and dysfunctional way. The story felt like it was just taking off when it concluded, whereas a little bit of fleshing would have made a huge difference in the overall feeling of this work. Brenda Rothert's Kit was an emotional read with lots of angst, with a little more detail it could have really made an impact and given readers and the characters a more optimistic outlook and a more satisfying read.

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. *

*While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone.*

Absolute Leseempfehlung. ❤️❤️❤️

Will have sins to confess after Kit's cover and his story. I wasn't sure I loved Molly but there wasn't enough background....it's mentioned as fact but no stories?? But she's pretty uptight but ambitious. I liked how she didn't get taken advantage of and she had good relationship with her boss.

Kit is pretty simple until he isn't. And that aspect of his story isn't expanded but left open without epilogue. Author addresses this so let's be patient ☺️

Series: Chicago Blaze #8
Rating: 4 stars - It was really good

Molly Lynch is an investigative journalist who has been assigned to do a piece on Chicago Blaze hockey player, Kit. While it's not her usual type of story, she is still determined to write a great piece with some really deep details about his life. The unexpected attraction between them is off the charts but they both have fears that are holding them back.

One thing I know I can always count on with Brenda Rothert’s is an emotional book. Kit and Molly had a great, slow building relationship that was extremely emotional. I really liked Molly. She was a hard working woman who has hid her heart away since her divorce. She is afraid of opening herself up again but when she does she doesn’t let anything hold her back, including Kit.

Kit was a great hero who was surprisingly protective of Molly. Kit may be a hockey player, but he is also a very private person. He has a hidden secret from his childhood that still impacts him today. It causes some problems with his and Molly’s relationship, until he finally confronts it and opens up to Molly about it. Rothert does a great job at writing about such a difficult topic, especially with such a short book. I also really love that this book shows that being traumatized doesn’t mean you can’t still have a relationship. It just means you have to have an accepting partner who accepts those parts of you.

Overall, this was a great addition to the series. I can’t wait to read the next book, which is going to be the last. I am sad this series is coming to an end but look forward to reading her next series.

Trigger Warnings:
- Sexual abuse of a child discussed briefly
- Childhood cancer of a family member mentioned

This book absolutely killed me! It was so emotional, it kept me on edge until the very end. This is one of THOSE books. The kind of book that sticks with you, even after you finish the last page. It is the kind that I'm sure is going to bring mixed reactions. This book was a tough read, with parts so tragic it brought tears to my eyes, but it was so worth it! This story is full of tragedy yes, but their story was absolutely perfect, and full of hope, most of all.

Molly is a reporter. Newly divorced, her job is her life. Until she receives an assignment that will change everything. Kit is a second line hockey player, one who seems to have a perfect life. One that he is happy with. But life is not always what it appears to be and can be more complicated than it at first seems. The question is, are they strong enough to get through?

I had my doubts about this book. At first it seemed pretty straight forward, like they were absolutely perfect for each other, and their HEA was going to be easy. I should have known better. The author throws a curve ball I never saw coming! Cue the tears, I just couldn't stop them. But this book, their story, was one that I will not forget. Definitely one that I would recommend to Chicago Blaze fans!

Kit (Chicago Blaze #8) is a book with all the feels and if you love hockey romance or love stories this book should certainly be on your radar. This is Kit Carter and Molly Lynch’s journey and their story captivated me from the first page to the last line, it’s a quick read but it still packs a mighty punch and it can certainly be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone.
Molly is a local journalist trying to make it to her dream position so she takes every assignment given to her, she does her best with every story but this one is bit different for this investigative reporter this is a story about a local hockey player but like all good investigators Molly is determined to see the real man not just the man the fans see.
Kit is not looking forward to this interview because memories from the past need to stay in the past but the more time he spends with the stunning, shy Molly the more he wants to open up and give her everything about the man who left his past behind when he moved to Chicago......
This is romance was never going to be easy, Molly wants her life to be predictable and she doesn’t want to live in the limelight but how does that work when the man she is falling for gets recognised wherever he goes. I fell hard and fast for Kit Carter and I adored the shy Molly Lynch, the chemistry they share is sizzling and the banter is witty but it was the raw emotion that took this book to another level for me, so I guess all i need to say is please one click this gem.

Wow, great story here, and so happy to be back with the Chicago Blaze! 5 stick taps for this one!

Here we have Molly, working hard as a reporter, trying to get her boss to give her a promotion. She's given a job to interview Chicago Blaze hockey good guy Kit. This is supposed to be just a puff piece, but the reporter in her can't help but want to learn everything about him.

Kit has a somewhat dark past. He's immediately taken with Molly and her quirks, but she won't cross the line of getting involved with him while she's doing her article. She also has some demons of her own she's trying to get past.

Can these two put their pasts behind them and share what could be a beautiful relationship, or will it prevent them from being together?

Grab this one asap, I love this series so much!

Kit is a professional hockey player who is a loyal friend, a great teammate and will do anything for anyone. He is a private man who prefers to keep the secrets of his past buried so when he is chosen to have an article written about him, he is dreading the experience until he meets Molly.

Molly has learnt in the most painful way possible to be careful when it comes to men and her heart. Although she may be attracted and drawn to him she has a story to write and why would a man like him be interested in a woman like her.

There is so much more to Kit than first appears and he was enchanted by Molly from the beginning and now he just needs to not only convince her that they belong together but to safeguard his secrets as well.

I have been following this series from the beginning but I’m sad to say this book fell short. I hate to give negative reviews but I assume honesty is required. Kit comes across as this great guy but has a secret that affects him deeply on a physical level.

Molly is a reporter with anxiety issues but doesn’t seem to have any trouble connecting with the people she interacts with along the story.

With such distinct and deep issues, I feel that they aren’t very well presented as part of their characters. They seem to be placed within the story as an afterthought. Overall the entire story feels rushed and erratic. This particular storyline doesn’t flow as smoothly as the other books in this series.

Klappentext:

====================

Buch-/Reihentitel & Cover:
"Chicago Devils - Einfach nur du" ist der achte Band der Chicago-Devils-Reihe. Jeder Band ist in sich abgeschlossen, da man in den Büchern aber Charaktere aus den vorherigen Bänden wieder trifft, ist ein Lesen in der korrekten Reihenfolge empfehlenswert.
Das Cover passt sehr gut in die Chicago-Devil-Reihe und ebenso genauso gut zum Buch, Kit ist, meiner Meinung nach, sehr gut getroffen.
====================

Charaktere:
====================

Schreibstil & Handlung:
"Chicago Devils - Einfach nur du" wird abwechselnd aus der Ich-Perspektive von Molly und Kit erzählt. Der Schreibstil ist flüssig, das Buch dadurch angenehm zu lesen.
Die Protagonisten lernen sich durch einen Artikel kennen den Molly über Kit schreiben soll. Während der wiederholten Interviews kommen beide immer mehr aus sich heraus und sind bereit sich aufeinander einzulassen.
====================

Mein Fazit:

This is Molly and Kit’s story.
This was not my favorite of the series.
Kit and Molly, on the surface are very different. Molly is the struggling reporter, trying to recover from a failed marriage. Taking on everything thrown her way hoping for a promotion. Kit the handsome, wealthy, professional hockey player. Who goes above and beyond for children’s charities. But as you get into their story, you see that they both struggle with relationships. Neither knowing what a healthy relationship should be like.
I loved Kit. He was an anomaly among professional athletes. He was very sweet, very shy, avoided the spotlight at all costs. He was the first to give accolades where it was deserved, but brushed it off when it was turned his way. He liked to flirt, but rarely left with a woman. He was just incredibly sweet.
I struggled with Molly. She was so locked up in her own head, she came across as robotic. Having her short marriage end the way it did, caused her to seize control of her life, and ultra control everything. The only time she let go and was herself was at home with her dog and her Gran.
These two meet when Molly is sent to do a story on Kit. Sports are not her usual beat, but due to staffing shortages she takes it on. Going in like the investigative reporter she is. There is interest from both of them they each find the other attractive. But remain professional for the sake of the article.
I didn’t get these two as a couple. Molly was cold, distant, and mechanical. I didn’t understand what Kit saw in her other than her looks. They really had no on page chemistry. Yet the minute she walks into his apartment for their first date, she jumps him and starts taking his clothes off. It just didn’t make sense to me.
There were things introduced into the story that were never resolved. Tension was built around a story Molly was working on, and nothing happened. And then there was Kit’s big secret that caused the two of them to separate. He says he’s going to deal with it and, again, nothing. It was just dropped.
Kit’s situation felt reused. Earlier in the series, there was a similar backstory with one of the other characters. It was different in some ways, but basically the same issue.
The whole story read like there were big holes in it, and it felt unfinished.
This is the first book that didn’t end with an epilogue. The author explains why, but I think this story needed one.
They do settle their issues, and end up together in the end.
There is one more book in the series, Olivier, the owner of the team is up next.

Brenda Rothert’s stories are so lovely and such a delight to read. I have loved reading this hockey series! I love her characters, funny, charming and so relatable. I especially loved that the female character, Molly, suffers from social anxiety, so she’s not the outgoing type, more like social introverted. And I loved how Kit catered to her sensibilities, making allowances for her shyness.

Molly works as a journalist at the Chicago Gazette and she was tasked to do a profile piece on Kit Carson, hockey player of the Chicago Blaze. This is not her favorite job, since she prefers the beat of the town hall, but has no choice. She makes her interview arrangements and does a background check on her subject, finds him too cookie cutter clean, and is determined to scratch deep.

Once they meet, Kit is intrigued with this anxious introverted but otherwise gorgeous woman. Molly is caught by surprise by this Viking, complete with long hair and beard. Notwithstanding his impressive appearance, he’s gentle and kind.

Kit normally doesn’t date, and his teammates joke him about this. He’s never been interested in a woman until he meets Molly. However, she’s very work oriented and doesn’t want to mingle work and pleasure, so a date is on hold until her piece on him is published. Once they start to get closer, she notices that he’s very laid back in public but dominant in bed, and there are pockets in his life story that he won’t share, ever. Molly overanalyzes everything and is very inquisitive to the extreme, so there are problems in paradise.

I loved the story and loved the characters. In spite of being successful in their careers, they are not entitled, they work hard and are driven. I loved Molly’s introvert nature, loved all the ribbing that Kit and his teammates make on each other, love the camaraderie and the support. There’s an issue that was not completely resolved and I’m on the edge, not sure if I like that it was left incomplete or that it was an issue that remains as is, and is accepted and respected as such. Anyway, the pace is great, the writing is brilliant and the story wholly entertaining. Can’t wait for the next one!

This book took a turn I wasn’t expecting and it didn’t take a turn I was hoping for. Kit is the 8th book in the Chicago Blaze series.

Molly is a journalist for the Chicago paper who is trying to write her way to the top. When she’s pulled to do an assignment for the social section, it’s definitely out of her norm. The piece is on Kit Carter and his everyday life and who he is overall. The two are complete opposites. Kit is friendly and outgoing. Molly is reserved and suffers from social anxiety. Even though she’s attracted to him, she won’t pursue anything until her article is published and Kit understands that.

Molly was super relatable to me as a person. She likes order in her life and with a bad past relationship, she’s extra cautious. Kit was adorable and I love what Molly calls him, a Viking Gentleman. That’s the best way to describe him. He comes with a bit of dark past. I am 100% against giving spoilers but will always mention triggers. There’s mention of past child sexual abuse in the book, more towards the end. It’s a brief and not too terribly graphic description. It’s brief but also explains why Kit is the way he is. I applaud how Brenda Rothert wrote about it. It was respectfully done. There is a part of the story with Molly and a politician I thought could have been explored more.

I overall loved this book and actually finished it in just a couple hours. I couldn’t put it down because I loved Molly and Kit. Brenda gave a great teaser for the next book which I can’t wait to read.

The first book that I read by author Brenda Rothert was BOUND, from her Fire on Ice series, and it's still one of my favorites of hers. The books in her current series revolve around hockey, as well, and I've really enjoyed the members of the Chicago Blaze and their stories, and I think that KIT might just be near the top of the list.

There's just the right amount of angst in KIT, and the back stories of both Kit and Molly were well developed without being overwhelming. Brenda presents the unfolding relationship between the two of them nicely, and I love that she's written Molly as a career woman who is strong and self-reliant, at least on the surface. But there's more to her than this, and to Kit, and watching them work through their issues to get to know themselves makes their journey to each other that much more fulfilling.

The only thing that I didn't love about this book is the way that it ended. I am a sucker for the 'ever after' part of things, and, while I understand why Brenda ended the story the way that she did, I would have loved to have had an epilogue that gave us just a bit more. KIT was, I think, supposed to be the end of the series, but since there's at least one more book, I'm hoping that we'll see more of Kit and Molly in the future, and can see where their journey has taken them. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed Kit's and Molly's book, and think that lovers of sports romance will, as well. Take your place in the Chicago Blaze fan club and enjoy. ❤️
