Narwhals!

These creatures seem to be rather forgotten in a lot of young literature, despite the nickname of "the unicorn of the sea." This finger puppet book was cute, informative (though perhaps not as much as some of the others from this series), and filled with cute pictures to keep the little ones entertained.

If you love narwhals or just want to read an animal book a little different from the norm, then I recommend this book. It has easy, accessible language for readers of all ages, and it is sure to interest the littles that have the pleasure of reading this or having it read to them.

My buddy Parker was thrilled with this addition to his collection of puppet / book hybrids.

Coincidentally, so was I. Because this particular puppet book only needs the use of a single index finger to communicate the action of a baby Narwal with a totally precious little horn.

The tiny Narwal has some fun ocean adventures, as the very thick board book pages slip past his wee head.

Short, sweet, easy for uncoordinated Grandmas!!

This book disappeared under the dresser for at least eight months! Boy, Parker and I were so excited to find it. It’s a really cute little story and he doesn’t tire of touching the tiny narwhal horn. I think it’s the sweetest book of the series and it’s definitely both our favorites.
