Merrick and Aries are longtime friends, however, they don’t always see eye to eye. During a heated group discussion, the opposite sex pairs debate if people can maintain healthy relationships in the sex worker industry, because of the popularity of Only Fans. To settle their opposing views, they agree to create an account together and make some easy, quick money along the way.
With dreams neither Merrick nor Aries can afford to loom, they outline the deal — engage in a public, sexual relationship until they’ve both met their financial goals. The proposal seems full of gain and worthy of the exposure… as if anything is ever that easy.
Great sex and big checks become twisted feelings, and time only further betrays the performing lovers. When one of them has the chance to be with the person they’ve lusted after for years, the plan and their friendship is put to the test.

CW: strong language. Also, the characters have sex a lot. Each sexual act is on page.
B. Love didn't fail with this book I wasnt sure what to expect considering that the book was surrounding the idea of the main characters having a fans only cam. I thought there would be more comments on the sex industry but I'm actually happy that we got a lot of Merrick's and Aries' relationship. This follows the classic friends to lovers trope but I thought it was done so well. When the two decide to go through with creating a fans only cam while maintaining a friendship it's so easy to tell that they are going to wind up falling in love. Do I think that everything was fine perfect in this book? Absolutely not. I don't think it was realistic to have a teacher create a Fans only cam and not really discuss how that would impact his career. BUT for me the emotional ride is why this book was so amazing.
I've been and still find myself in the same predicament as Aries. She struggled with commitment and relationships because she had the bad habit of falling in love with the idea of or potential of some one. For me, that's always been my Achilles heel. I love the idea and potential of someone more than actually loving them and it causes so many problems. Aries struggles with this so you can't imagine how much it meant to me when Merrick showed her that he could be a gentle kind and caring man not because that's who Aries wanted him to be but because that was truly who he was as a person. From the moment that they first have sex he is so attentive to her needs and making sure that she is comfortable. Shoot I fell in love with him myself while reading. And I love that B. Love allows him to be a flawed character that learns from his past mistakes. He admitted that he made mistakes in past relationships because he wasn't in touch with himself. Throughout the story they both work on their insecurities. I loved seeing that on page while they also discussed things like love languages. It was just beautiful. This wasnt a perfect book but I really love what it did for me personally.
I expected Fans Only to be a lighthearted friends to lovers story with tons of steamy sex. However, I was not expecting an emotional storyline as well. Ladies we all know (and I speak from experience) starting a sexual relationship with a male friend will eventually lead to feelings being caught. And, that is exactly what happened with Aries and Merrick. Merrick decides, in order for he and Aries to reach their financial goals for their individual dreams, they need to start a Fans Only account. Rules are established but, of course, they’re broken the very first night they have sex because, they immediately catch feeling for each other. Although this was strictly business for Merrick, he treated Aries with so much respect, always made her feel special, and made sure she was his number one priority. He was so attentive to her needs the first time they had sexy, she had no other choice but to fall in love Merrick. Pretty sure I fell in love with him my damn self. We get a little insight into their dating history. Aries and Merrick recognize they are flawed and have issues from past relationships but, are more than willing to work on themselves to be a better person for their next partner. I loved that they were both very mindful of each other's love language and made sure to express that one another. Fans Only was a phenomenal read. It was full of romance, had just the right amount of angst, and the sex was (whew chile) pearl clutchin’ worthy. This book earned every one of the 5-stars I gave it and then some.
I gotta say. B. Love’s books have a lot of things I would think would be a no go for me, and she makes me really love the story she tells. Another steamy winner.
All I can think of was kehlani can I music video when reading this.
I wish this book wasn’t so focused on the romance and more on the onlyfans part which really drawn me to this book. The romance was sweet and the male love interest your usual f boy because he basically cheats on the female love interest. But anyway it was a nice quick read if you want a book that involves onlyfans.
Thank you to the people who recommended this. I LOVED this book. The openness, talking about what feeds you when it comes to love, and not changing that no matter what ugh. Merrick is another book boyfriend, I might have to make a list this year.
a romance where people communicated properly, were super in touch with their feelings (as well as their bodies) and the topic of knowing each other's 'love languages' came up multiple times? Man!!
This was refreshingly nice. Steamy, but not too steamy. It was well written and executed. It felt mature.
It wasn’t horrible. Trust me I’ve read worse. It just suffered from clunky writing overall. The dialogue wasn’t just too casual, it wasn’t interesting.
Also the characters felt a bit flat and the spicy scenes could have used a more sensual hand with the descriptions. I found myself resisting the urge to skim several times.
I didn't know what to expect going into this but it was so good! I loved Aries and Merrick's chemistry and how Merrick always made sure Aries was always comfortable. I just wish I could've gotten a look at their life a little further along than the year we saw in the epilogue.
3.5 stars This was my first book by B. Love and it was really cute. Friends to lovers isn’t my favorite so that might be why I didn’t *love* it, but I think I mostly wasn’t satisfied with the way the third act conflict resolved. But I enjoyed it and am excited to read more from this author.
Only B. Love can turn an erotica novel in to a love story! Aries and Merrick are friends that decide to make an Only Fans page to make some quick money (we all are at this point...lol), but can they successfully do this without getting their feelings involved?
This book is filled with some very steamy scenes mixed in with a sprinkle of love. A quick short read that will keep you intrigued and entertained.
This was her first officially erotica and I absolutely enjoyed it. I loved the two main character's, and felt that their personalities really complemented each other.
The who they are friends but not really friends, but like each other on the low think was really cute to me.
I saw the cover and title of this book when it was released, and I was ready for it baby. The love that blossomed between the two unintentionally but inevitably was entertaining to see unfold.
The sex was great, I wish there was a little more sex (I have a problem, my opinions on sex scenes don't really count, because I like it extra freaky, so just ignore me lol).
I loved the fact that they were both very mindful of one another's love language. It's something that I would like to see more included in more books in general.
I mean, I couldn't not add this to my Smutathon TBR. I've been hearing so many great this about this friends-to-lovers novella and I ended up really enjoying it.
Aries is friends with Merrick and though she finds him somewhat annoying, she's also always been attracted to him. So, when their friend group has a discussion about Fans Only accounts and the two of them agree it's something they'd both be willing to do, they end up actually going through with it. With great success. A little too great when unexpected feelings start to arise.
This book was perfect for Smutathon. It was short and steamy and fun. It took me a little while to become fully invested in the relationship, but I did get there eventually.
Ok This book is confirmation that I need to start an Only Fans I think this was my sign I was waiting for Lol. Just kidding (maybe) back to book I loved this short Erotic novella. In my opinion B.Love is one of the best with writing short stories. In this story you will meet Aries and Merrick who had one goal in mind GET MONEY. I was throughly entertained and loved the storyline this book is def for the grown and sexy.
5 stars. I love B. Love with my entire being. She can do no wrong in my eyes. She has yet to steer me wrong. Her romances are always fire and the emotional connection between her characters are always so genuine and real. Merrick and Aires are friends and decide to start an Only Fans together for six months. No feelings attached. Well, that gets messed up because they both start catching feelings outside of the (fire ass) sex and it was everything.
I loved both characters. Aires is a go getter. She’s funny, sweet and knows how to stand up for herself. Merrick is delicious. Like, damn did I love that man. He’s a bit of a reformed fuckboy but he’s so charming and intelligent and funny. He’s cocky as hell but that’s because he can back it up. Him and Aires together was really great. The sex scenes were top notch and there’s palpable and undeniable chemistry between them.
This was everything that I wanted from it and then some. It’s definitely one that I will re-read somewhere down the line.
The story was a sensual assault to one's senses in the way the author told this friends to lovers- love story. Aries was my girl and Merrick was boo worthy. Loved this story.
The romance, passion, nastiness throughout this read was so awesome. I enjoyed that they uplifted each other rather than filled voids. I’m still fanning myself...whew Chile. Awesome job!!
This book has been on my TBR list for a while, now I’m wondering what took me so long. This story was sweet, sexy, and the characters had substance. The build up was great and I swooned at their banter. I’ll def be diving back into BL’s catalog.
The chemistry in this book was off the chain. Very well written with great character development and storyline. I liked the friendship and back and forth playful jabs between Aries and Merrick. Who would've thought their agreement of a sex with no strings attachment for money would lead to true feelings being revealed. These two really knew how to let their inhibitions go when providing sexual entertainment for their viewers. It was enough to get anyone aroused and feeling hot. Definitely hard to stop reading. This was truly a friends to lovers story that will not disappoint.
This was a lot more emotional and heartfelt than I expected it to be! Given the premise centres on OnlyFans and sex work I had assumed it'd be mostly smut, but I quickly became enamoured by the pining and romance.
I looooooved how this talked about love languages. Both these characters need to be cared for in completely different ways and are able to articulate that, and identify those as the reasons why their past relationships failed. The maturity and communication was off the charts and we LOVE TO SEE IT.
There's also a great arc where Aries learns to realise the difference between how her abusive ex treated her ("you don't bring anything I need to the table") versus how a healthy relationship should be ("you are the table"). It's only a small part of the book but it was handled well!
My only qualm here was that it kinda glossed over OnlyFans and sex work. Given this was released during a pandemic when so many unemployed people were half-joking about "oh I'll just jump on OnlyFans", I think this could have added some mindful commentary around sex work, how much work actually goes into OnlyFans, and the stigma that sex workers face. The book wasn't derogatory or whorephobic at all but there was a missed opportunity.
4 stars. This was a surprisingly heartfelt read, and it gave me everything on the Friends-to-Lovers front that another book *cough* Go Deep *cough* didn't quite nail. I'm definitely keen to check out more of B. Love's work!
The book was alright. Friends with benefits. Friends to lovers. There are a few sex scenes but I didn’t get erotic vibes. The sex didn’t move me. This is a romance. I liked that love languages were discussed and there was more content than sex. I doubt the pressure was too much to tell their friends about their page.
Why would Michael have a ring on if he was engaged? Also, if her needs were insatiable, how was she not taking care of home? Like cheating would not be the answer to that. Honestly how Merrick was acting, it was totally uncharacteristic of him to bring shorty around Aries. Like he wouldn’t even put her in the position to feel that way. That’s why friends with benefits don’t work for me because the denial and miscommunication for what? For the sake of the storyline. And then when they were arguing he called her Bella and not her real name. If Oniqa wasn’t his type, then why would he go get in a relationship with her? Literally makes no sense. Again, for the storyline.
Unnecessary commas. A few grammar mistakes but nothing to take away from the book.
Merrick and Aries have been friends for forever even though they get on each other’s nerves. One night at a friends dinner they conversation of Only Fans got brought up and Aries said she would definitely do it if nobody would know who she was.
Aries wants to be a fashion designer. She knows what interning under the biggest name would mean for her career but she cannot afford to apply. Merrick isn’t fulfilled as a music teacher but doesn’t have the money to start his own studio. With the knowledge that Aries would do Only Fans Merrick propositions her. He knows they could make enough money for both of their dreams to come true if they were to make an account together. Nobody would know it was them and they would only do it for six months. Just long enough to make the money they both need. And it would no strings attached sex. No catching feelings.
I really enjoyed this a lot. This is one of the only books that has really given me that swoon feeling. I thought some of the writing was a bit corny but I didn’t even care bc I liked the relationship. The way Aries was taken care of. Watching her come back to life from an old relationship. Also watching Merrick grow as a person as well. I couldn’t help but root for them. This definitely won’t be the last B. Love book I read.
I wished I liked this more but I just didn't get along with the writing style and just how constantly words were repeated and a persons actions were described the exact same way. If I see the word "chuckled" one more time I might scream. I liked Aries and Marrick as characters and I do wish they were fleshed out more, I liked the conflict they both had and how much their choices and reservations made sense for them and the story. Marrick really was a great hero in this and I love that for him and for Aries. There is warning about the sex at the start of this and maybe because I had to be warned my expectations were too high but they disappointed me in a lot of ways. Some of them were so short that after two paragraphs it was over and I felt nothing at all. The epilogue was unnecessary, rushed and bumped the whole thing down a star it didn't need to be there. With the writing just...not being my cup of tea that made it so hard for me to appreciate more out of this.
