This was an interesting workbook. I have ASD and my husband does not. We’ve been married for over 10 years and try to keep ourselves challenged to continue to be better for one another. On one hand, some parts of the book were pretty one dimensional in considering the ASD partner and borderline offensive in the assumptions, but then on the other hand, I genuinely feel that this workbook can be taken as much or little as you like, as a couple and I feel that we benefited from my husband hearing some of the messages that were actually intended for the ASD partner.

I'd rally recommend this easy to follow book for couples where autism features, or their therapists. Maxine Aston has filled it with great, workable ideas to provide practicality and hope where relationships are going awry.
