Apollonia
I never wanted to come back here, never wanted to see any of these faces. Old friends and enemies—sometimes one-in-the-same. But I had to come. One last time. It’s hard enough as it is, but then I see him. The reason I’m here, the man who took my brother away from me. He may be the most powerful man in Italy, but right now, I don’t care. Right now, I want him to hurt the way I do.
Cato
She comes to a funeral with pain and beauty. Lashing out, she aims for me. I take her fury, her sorrow, and finally, her. I can’t let her walk out of my life, not when I’ve found her again. The last time I saw her, she was a child and I wasn’t much more than one. This time, though, this time, I won’t let our bond break. I’ll do everything I can to convince her that her life is here with me, not on the run from a past she can’t escape. But I soon discover I’m not the only one with my sights on her, and old enemies never truly die.

Apollonia is finally back home mourning the death of her brother who works in a life that can get you killed, as she saying her goodbyes she is confronted by the boss who her brother worked for blaming him and throws a fit and passes out. Cato is the boss and feels guilty that his girl doesn't remember him also feels responsible making sure she stays safe in his house until he can find who killed her brother.

And boy these two are fire and ice the claws and banter and sassyines whenever they were around. Now Apollonia would have left or tried to escaped but seems her brother has a child. This house and Cato are the safest place for them to be. Both have to deal with the sexual tension and drama coming for them.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, Drama, slight secondary charas, sexy times, virgin gal no manwhore

"His Stolen Princess" is the story of Apollonia and Cato.

Our heroine has lost her family to the mafia family, and with a broken heart comes to attend her brother's funeral. She finds herself kidnapped by the hero, and becomes a prisoner in his mansion. However, she refuses to give up. Being a wildcat and fighting him at every turn, things change when she discovers her brother had a secret baby, and who she cannot leave with him..

Loads of fiesty banter, sizzling chemistry, hot sex and bit of angst mixed with loads of bloodshed and drama.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Intense

I really think this story is pretty intense. Apollonia has a lot of raw emotion. The distress she feels losing her brother is heartbreaking. Cato does everything he can to protect her, even from herself. The story has some dark moments. HEA.

Apollonia went to her brother's funeral and Cato saw her. She left her family and that organized crime life when her parents got killed. And it has been years since she talked to her brother.

She was mad that he was killed the same way their parents did. She was also angry at Cato for not protecting her brother. She slapped him in front of his men and she fainted because of the stress. When she woke up she was already in one of his rooms and definitely taken by Cato.

He wouldn't let her go, for the fear that she would be the next target of the killer. Also, it might be because he feels an attraction for her. She fought for a few weeks, did her best to avoid him but in every romance fiction, the FMC would eventually give in.

Cato has been kind and protective of her since the beginning. He didn't give her reason to doubt him and his intentions. He saved her multiple times, in the course of the story. And time and time again proved that he won't let anything or anyone hurt her.

Overall, this is a good mafia novella. It is short but still has a good plot and character arc. I enjoyed it and I look forward to reading Santino's book. ❤️

Oh wow
Cato....have me.

Just so y'all know he
✨Spanks the coochie
✨Touch her and I'll kill you
✨Mafia boss
✨Good with babies
✨ Lets her slap him

The only thing that kind of had me a lil frustrated was him calling her a lioness each and every time. I liked it but not everytime.

For real felt like a 250 smth page book.

After losing her parents Apollonia only had her brother but he's killed too. She ran away from her home because she didn't want to be a part of the mafia but her brother's death brought her back to her hometown where she met Cato in the funeral and attacked her. But Cato was hooked from the moment he saw her again. He once saved her when her parents got murdered and now he wanted her as his. Apollonia wanted revenge and make Cato suffer but later found out the man who's responsible behind all her family's death. She fallen in love with Cato and vice versa. Together they found happiness with each other; not to forget her brother's child who she discovered after her brother's death. Apollonia and Cato got married. Had baby together. The End.

I loved this book too. I mean I loved Apollonia's character and damn I didn't know Santino was like this. I got confused with the name though. Is it Apollonia or Appolonia? Eh! Whatever! But Apollonia and Cato is one dirty couple. Lol! This book is a short read for me. I need to read more book of this author. I liked her writing. Short and simple but worth a read.

My new favourite from author MINK. The stories are addictive and this is no different.

Mafia genre is an obsession for me and when an can combine the darkness and the romance together and do it effortlessly you are guaranteed a read that has from from start to finish.

Apollonia’s character was strong, she had to be. Coming up against Cato she had to be. I loved that she didn’t back down. The dialogue between these two was strong. The banter was seamless. The secondary characters were engaging.

The story was engaging and your left wanting more.

One of my more favorite Mink books. Appollonia and Cato have pretty great chemistry, there's justa touch of angst, a bit of drama and plenty of smutty goodness. I was glad our h didn't get to go down the path of making Cato fall for her just to break his heart.

His Stolen Princess by MINK is the story of Apollonia and Cato.
Cato is a Mob Boss who Apollonia's brother worked with but now her brother is dead. Apollonia had stepped away from that life and kept a low profile. But she returned for her brother's funeral and that put her in to Cato's radar. Of course Cato wants her and takes her but she is in danger from another source. Loved this quick hot read!

This was a hot fiery read about Apollonia and Cato. Their chemistry was off the charts. Loved their interaction and banter. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. Apollonia is a true lioness. Cato was the perfect combo of possessive, protective, tenderhearted, growly Alpha. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this beautiful, thrilling, hilarious love story. Loved this story and I can't wait to read more by MINK.

His Stolen Princess was a great story, the plot and characters were strong, the story was written well. It was filled with several emotions. Cato and Apollonia's journey had a few obstacles but they were meant for one another, their connection and chemistry was strong, they were drawn to each other. They were good together. I enjoyed their journey.
Thank you, Mink. Great work :)

His Stolen Princess by MINK

HERO - Cato Davinci. Head of the largest crime family in Italy. Short dark hair, dark eyes. Guardian to Apollonia’s nephew and determined to be the one who tames her.

HEROINE - Apollonia Simonetti. Grieving the loss of her brother. Long dark hair, warm brown eyes. A lioness in need of a firm hand.

OVERALL THOUGHTS - Let me start by saying this book was wonderfully written. MINK is a really talented author! However, it’s my personal preferences that get in the way of me enjoying this one to the fullest. Cato was a strong hero that I adored, but Apollonia was a bit harder to warm up to. She’s very hard-headed and stubborn, wanting to believe that she knows best when in actuality she’s like a child who’s wandered into the middle of a movie, as Walter from The Big Lebowski would say.

She starts to soften around the late 40s to 50% of the story, but by then it’s almost too late for me. I did enjoy her after that, but I’d spent so much of the book feeling frustrated with her that my enjoyment was tainted. I know she’s suffered many losses in her life, but damn, woman! Stop and listen to someone who has more inside knowledge than you!

I find that I enjoy MINK’s humorous works, but this was definitely an exploration of her more serious side. I found myself missing the laughs, but I wonder if I would have felt differently if I wasn’t so unimpressed with Apollonia. After all, I read tons of darker books, too. By 40%, I actually felt bored. There’s still a Signature Cat in this one, but it doesn’t appear until almost halfway into the book and plays a much smaller role personality-wise than those in her lighter works.

As Cato’s last name would suggest, he is related to Nick Davinci from His Virgin Queen, but it’s not stated what the relation is, nor if this takes place before or after Nick’s story, nor was Nick mentioned by name. Just that the Davinci’s rule the US as well as Italy.

I believe we’re to assume that all the characters are speaking Italian unless otherwise noted. It does take place in Italy, and it’s where Apollonia grew up so she’d also be fluent. However, I didn’t figure that out until a few chapters in because it’s never stated that everyone is speaking in Italian. In fact, I don’t think we know we’re in Italy until chapter two. After that I remember wondering why no one was speaking Italian until a comment was made in chapter six.

We get to see a lot of a side character named Santino, a childhood friend and current right hand of Cato’s. His book is coming up next and I’ve got tentative hopes for it because he seemed a little more light-hearted than Cato. Although, I didn’t enjoy the comments about .

Again, I enjoy MINK’s work in general, but I ran too hot and cold on this one to say that I really liked it. There also some loose ends like

Si te gusta el cliché de la mafia, la chica secuestrada que luego se enamora de su captor, este libro es para ti.

Es entretenido y tiene su toque de drama, romance, violencia, secretos y peligro, con el chico malo sexy.

I need to stop reading books by tiktokers ik I don’t like. Anyways I didn’t like this. When there is no chemistry, it makes it really hard to enjoy any type of sexual or non sexual interaction for the main characters. It also makes most “dominant” mmc look rlly weird and somewhat rapey. Also this book was short like Novella length yet tries to cram in so much plot and like development of characters and it just didn’t work like u simply need more pages idk.

His Stolen Princess is hands down another Mink masterpiece! This story will wrap itself around your heart and soul and entrap you before you know whats happening. It will enchant and delight and steal your will to leave. Putting this book down is near impossible with the unspoken expectation of repressed violence and the heady richness of a promised passion about to be unleashed. Tearing yourself from this wondrous and delicious world is a true and sad crime. Luxuriating in its slow blossoming of unexpected passion and surprise discovery of family beyond blood is the true pinnacle of pleasure.

Mink is an author worth taking a chance on, and I would highly recommend any of her books for those who wish to dip their toes in her amazing worlds. She savors love that is tentative and true, and has the heart of the truest romantic that I have read so far. She doesn't give her characters an easy road, but their pain and determination are greatly rewarded in the end. For who would savor life if the sour did not lead to the sweet?

Apollonia returns to Italy for two reasons. Number 1, say goodbye to her brother. Number 2, make the man responsible for his death, Cato Davinci, suffer. But Cato has some surprises in store that will make that revenge more difficult than she expects.

Cato has lost one of his most loyal men through a cowardly act. He needs to figure out who is committing these acts against him and shut them down. He does not account for Carter’s sister showing at the funeral, though. From the moment he sees her again he is determined to make her his.

I love Mink’s mafia men! There is just something about the rough command that they hold and the gentleness that they show to their women. Of course, Apollonia does not make it easy for Cato and that makes me like her all the more. I cannot wait for Santino’s story, His Stolen Bride!

Gritty and steamy mafia romance.

Brace yourselves for this intense, fierce, and violent little romance that's the perfect excuse to indulge in the dark side of villain passion. What a rush! The fierce avenging girl and the besotted mafia boss. They may seem opposites, but they have links to bond them forever. The author has spawned a delightfully dark and sensual mafia romance.

It starts with so much drama you want to cry, then grows into emotionally charged scenes where Cato and Apollonia twist with furious desire and challenge. I loved the times with family and how Apollonia is such a warrior yet also loving. And he is so patient and proud of her. Hot too! That teasing scene where she pretends to be a seductress ends up being explosive.

Then all dangers come raining down on them and blood is spilled and a cat is threatened and secrets are revealed and people die and babies are made. It's exhilarating!

Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although there is some violence. It's a mafia book but not what I would classify as mafia lite - maybe mafia medium? The characters are interesting. There is a lot going on with this story and there are plenty of feels. Cato and Apollonia were meant to be together. They met when Apollonia and Cato were kids. Cato remembers how he met Apollonia but he isn't sure that she remembers him at all. Apollonia fights her feelings for Cato. Cato knows he is connected to Apollonia but not how deep that connection goes until later. They are both super sweet with Carter and he is just a sweetheart. I loved Cato and Apollonia's happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

This is Mink on a whole different level. This is a dark one that has great characters who go toe the toe with each other and I’m hear for it. This storyline is very interesting and the characters are interesting and with a great build up to the perfect relationship and fantastic chemistry. Cato is the perfect alpha and his princess is not sitting in a tower watching for him to save her. She is right there in his face given him everything she’s got and that makes him love her even more. If you have never read a book by this author this is definitely one you should pick up you will not be disappointed.

I loved this book! I love all the action and the drama involved in this book. Cato and Apollonia were fantastic together. I loved how they were both fierce when it came to those that they loved. Cato is all alpha but is brought to his needs with Apollonia. Apollonia is very sassy and independent but Cato shows her that she is not alone and that she is a bada$$. I would highly recommend this book and I can't wait for the next book!

Intense mafia men who make your knees weak, but will completely bend for a woman who steals their heart. Cato and Apollonia were fantastic together. I loved how they were both fierce when it came to those that they loved. Cato is all alpha but is brought to his needs with Apollonia. Apollonia is very sassy and independent but Cato shows her that she is not alone and that she is tough.

SOOOOOO GOOOD🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mink has delivered another killer book with a badass heroine and possessive, dominant alpha hero who isn’t afraid to break every law there is to claim his woman and keep her safe

There was no cheating, hero may have been a virgin but it’s not explicit, and a heroine who is a virgin and belongs only to the hero!

Just couldn't finish it, one scene read like abuse, I didn't like him at all and didn't care for her either. I know some people don't think someone should rate a book if they didn't finish it, I feel the same way, expect for this. No matter what he did for the rest of the book would erase my feeling for him. So disappointed

His Stolen Princess is the story of Cato and Apollonia.

So basically her brother dies and she’s at a funeral and Cato is there as well to wish him farewell because he cared for Carter and his sister. She’s mad at him because she thinks he killed her entire family. She wants revenge and comes up with a plan to seduce him and make him fall in love with her. Her plan stops short when she feels attracted to him as well. He found out that her parents were dead when he was a mere teenager and when he saw the little girl he did nothing but console her and she’s that little girl. He sees her at the funeral and basically kidnaps her and she goes into full crazy mode but he likes it and puts up with it but not without a few steamy moments. He starts getting through the thick walls she’s put up and she’s defenceless when it comes to him. She retracts her plans because she doesn’t want to endanger her nephew that she didn’t know about and that Cato was taking care of him and also because she had fallen for him which she only realised when she was kidnapped by her brothers killers. Antony Latino, the killer who killed her family. Cato gives him a painful death or was it Apollonia? Idc anyways she asks some questions about the past and he doesn’t know what she’s talking about and that sets some relief in her. Anyways after 5 years they have 2 girls and all of them treat Carter as if he were their own brother and Apollonia and Cato treat him as their own. I want to see his story soon.

Solid 4/5
