These were my first Sabrina B. Scales books and they will not be my last. These were really good short stories with each character finding love in unexpected situations. They were super sexy, very dirty with some humor thrown in and I loved every moment! I loved Nedra & Seth's family so much.
Wesleigh and Jakobi, wow, what a pleasure it was listening to these two narrators together. They are absolutely fantastic.

I have been meaning to read books by Sabrina B. Scales. This was definitely a good series as an introduction to this author. I liked Naughty a bit more than Nasty but the sex in Nasty....... Ms. Sabrina CLEARLY knows how to write a sex scene. Whew Chile! I will be reading my way through her catalog.

STORY:
WHAT I LIKED:
There was definitely chemistry between Justin and Nedra in Naughty. Nasty was ok as well, I liked Phalin and Seth’s chemistry.



WHAT WAS SO SO:
Naughty: I know it’s a novella but it ended abruptly. I still have questions and there were still issues that weren’t explained. Apart from the sex, Justine spent most of the book giving Nedra the cold shoulder, so when they made up I thought more things would be explained. Nasty: the beginning was tearful with Phalin, but still found the storyline ok.



SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
Their sexual encounters were good I obviously had no complaint there. Good sex.



SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
I liked Nedra’s brother and Justin’s sister. They added a good mix to the story in Naughty and Phalin’s best friend in Nasty.


OVERALL:
Was I entertained? Yes. Did I like the story? Yes, but also felt cheated. Would I read the other book in the series? N/A

Their sex is tantalizing and explosive, and as they explore each other sexually, they also learn more about each other mentally and emotionally. These two shorts whisked us away in love and in lust proving just how naughty and nasty it could really get!

If you’re looking for a short black rom com series that is super spicy 🌶️ but also genuinely really cute and funny, this is a great read!

In the first part of the series, Naughty, we get a love story between neighbors Nedra and Justin, who was waiting for the opportunity on Nedra’s ole dude Daryl to slip up… and he does just as the book begins of course! Then in the second part of the series, Nasty, we learn more about Fallon (Justin’s sis) and Seth (Nedras bro) who met in the first part and personally I loved their love story even more — even if Seth did give off player vibes at first. Their love story more spontaneous and unexpected! The older/younger dynamic, chance encounter at the club… the supply closet HELLO 🤌🏾 they were wild 🤭

I love how these stories were connected subtly and the families were portrayed as super down to earth and supportive of each other. The best part of this was Nedra and Seth’s relationship with their special needs brother, who was in both stories and was so honest and sweet! But anyway the audiobook is very entertaining just make sure to adjust your volume accordingly😂😳

Justin is boyfriend material. After Nedra finds out unwanted information about big nose Darrell, she ends up at her neighbors. (We get it Darell has a big nose. It seems that was the only thing Nedra’s family could talk about). Nedra ends up returning the favor with her neighbor. What starts out as a Christmas fling, turns out to be a lifetime together. Their love story was short and not my favorite. I preferred the second story with Phalin(Justin’s older sister) and Seth(Nedra’s little brother). The two originally meet at a birthday party. They later reconnect at an event Seth’s friend is doing for Phalin’s goddaughter. Even though there is a 10 year age difference, the two can’t stay away from each other. Love is not logical and on a whim that started as a dare , they get married in Vegas. When Phalin has a scare with her health, she finds it reassuring to have him on her side which is different from her previous relationship.

Highly recommended! I enjoyed the relationship journeys of Nedra (Seth's older sister)and Justin (Phalin's younger brother) as well as Phalin and Seth who was 10 years her junior. Nedra and Justin are next door neighbors who share what's supposed to be a one night stand that soon turns into something either of them bargained for. While Phalin and Seth start a secret fling after being introduced by their respective siblings on a weekend getaway for new year's. Although Phalin and Seth both agree that the relationship is strictly sexual, its clear they desire more. The plotwist is one of these couples ends up getting married in Vegas. And I love how characters from previous books make appearances. I can't wait to see what happens between Plus and Tashena.

Justin and Nedra are neighbors, turned lovers and he turns her every which way but loose.
They introduce their siblings to each other and it’s up from there!
Seth and Phalin they are instant attraction,heavy flirting, age gap- I think she got him by 10 yrs. Friends with benefits until Seth wants more, better yet wants all!
It’s the flowers, and long distant trips for me!
It’s the care and concern when they communicate.
Oh and that Vegas trip 🥵🔥

This is my first book by this author and I will definitely have to check out

Naughty was ok. There were some serious seggs scenes. It was a very short story and Justin spent a lot of the book being cold to Nedra. Naughty felt unfinished to me and ended abruptly.

I was interested in Phalin and Seth. Nasty dragged on a little too long for me. I think it was longer than Nasty. At least it felt longer. I did think things were surprising towards the end.

Tbh, I only picked it up because 2 of my favorite narrators were doing the narration. Even they couldn't save this book for me.

Naughty was a good read. Nasty drugged my nerves 😒.

The H was great...but the h 😳. With a 10 year gap and she was the immature one. The decisions she made about her life...the unnecessary secrets dating, cancer and marriage. Wanting him to beg to be with her. ETC.

Their relationship was more like sex addicts than infatuated lovers. And so overdone.

The bathroom underwear scene was unnecessary, disgusting, and corny.

Really good short stories. Both had so much heart and soul, and also way HOT! There was no shortage of heat between these two couples, but they had depth to their stories, and their complicated and not so easy situations added a realness layer to everything. A testament to the author's great writing talent. I believe this is my first by Sabrina B. Scales, but definitely won't be my last.

I listened to the audiobook, and Jakobi Diem and Wesleigh Siobhan's narration was perfect, as usual.

3 stars for smut and steam!
The story was almost too real at times which is ok if that’s what you want, I guess I was expecting more of happy ever after and was left with happy for now. Sometimes I felt like it was pushing the stereotypes of black people, but it could just be me being overly sensitive 🤷🏽‍♀️

The 2nd book had me confused, the H is 10yrs younger than the h. That doesn’t bother me, what does bother me is that the h is pushing 40 and mentions possibly having kids like how?

The first book (novella) was short and christmassy which is not my thing. It was not a bad read at all. Just quick and away read.

The second book, Nasty, was just that when it wanted to be! It was erotic, nasty and educational! LOL! Decent storyline and cute love story. I wouldn’t reread but I do recommend.

I did not know that this would be two books in one it follows two group of siblings who find love together.

Naughty is from the sister’s viewpoint and nice is from the brothers.
