I'm all for short quick reads that go deep into fiction. Captivated brings all those cards to the table with a story about a MOB Princess falling for her kidnapper.

Now before we get started let me set this straight the kidnapper despite being a kidnapper, is the lesser of two evils in this story making it a lot more fun!

I love Jagger Cole's writing style and the way in which he's able to incorporate the balance of drama, insta love and intimacy.

What you get in the description is what you receive. Be sure to dive into this fun read with the knowledge of fiction being at the forefront. Sometimes you want a story that brings an escapism to a life you know you'd never actually lead.

Hot quick read. Fairly fast paced book, naughty but sweet to a certain degree. Max Ryan is a criminal who works for anyone willing to pay good money. His skills vary from driver to look out to thief. When his last job goes bad he knows that it was a set up by the person who gave him the job, Dino DeLuca. With the mob looking for him and being weak from a gunshot wound and lack of sleep, Max comes up with a plan. That plan being to kidnap Dino's daughter Tessa and ransom her for money and safe passage out of the city. Except when he sees her he knows he has to have her no matter what.
Tessa DeLuca is a student currently attending medical school. She knows that her father is a bad man but just wants to go to school to avoid being in his control if only for a little bit. While trying to get home from school one day she gets kidnapped. When she sees her kidnapper she realises he is good looking and starts feeling a spark like never before. When Max calls her father to negotiate her release she finds out just how bad he is. During their time together they get intimate. Tessa realises that her father really is bad when his goons show up shooting their way through knowing that she is there with Max. Angry at her father she is determined to help Max take him down. Once that is taken care of they both move to L.A and live their H.E.A.

What do you get when a mob boss crosses a thief?? One
pi$$ed off thief that kidnaps the mob boss’s daughter. Tessa, the mob princess, knows her dad does bad things but turns a blind eye to it because it doesn’t directly affect her and she just wants to get her medical degree and help people. Max is the wrong person to cross and he gets his revenge by kidnapping Tessa off the street. Once Max sees Tessa it’s all over from there, he wants to protect and claim her but she puts up a fight. Will she eventually give in? Her dad is a bad man and he crosses a line no one should cross but will that push her into the arms of Max?

A hot short about a thief who was double crossed and the beautiful daughter of the boss who did it. Max wants revenge on the boss you set him up & tried to have him killed. His idea? Kidnapp the bosses daughter. Until he sees her. Then he just wants to keep her. Tessa is beautiful & fiery, and after fighting in the beginning, she falls for Max. And they become fiery together 🔥🔥🔥 Definitely give a read!

One of my favorites!
I greatly enjoyed these two characters and I loved how he was friends with Colton. Remember him from a previous story? Who knew.

This is a fun, dirty, enjoyable read that although to me the scenario is ridiculous I find myself really enjoying it. This author is a favourite of mine for a short, naughty story. I love an over the top alpha with a feisty women to bring him to his knees. Great story.

Another fabulous, quick read from Cole that was the perfect amount of mafia, intrigue & a little angst. As with all his books, you get an amazing and full on flirty romance. CAPTIVATED had me all in the feels and instantly in love. I’m always ready for the next Cole story!! 5 Stars!

It started with a kidnapping but ended with love.

I loved this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although it does have a kidnapping/abduction. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Tessa’s father was a major a**hole and definitely needed comeuppance. Max was over the top and rough around the edges but he was very protective of Tessa. She was going to school to be a doctor and hoped to be able to get away from her father when she had to do her residency. Max kidnapped Tessa but he knew he wanted to keep her. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CAPTIVATED" Jagger Cole did a great job writing this short very naughty hot steamy book with suspense, intrigue, kidnapping, action, intense drama that has you turning the pages.
Max is a theif and stole from the wrong person something of value they want back the Mob Boss Dino De Luca sets him up and leaves him for dead he wants revenge he'll make him pay for what he did to him.
Tessa De Luca is Mob Princess and daughter to Dino she smart, sexy as sin, sassy, innocent feisty ginger haired beauty that gets kidnapped by Max because the Mob, Cops & other thugs in NYC are all after him she'll be his way out.
Tessa and Max have immediate attraction to one another their chemistry is off the charts sizzling hot what he originally wanted with her turns out to be so much more she turned his cold heart on fire he wants to keep her for himself.
I definitely recommend to get very well written book with strong captivating characters that pull you right into all chaos so well worth the read you don't want miss this on.

So this is my first time receiving an ARC from this author so let’s review it! I received Captivated as an ARC from Jagger Cole for my honest review on this book. This story is really short and straight to the point. The storyline wasn’t bad, but It felt like it was lacking or missing something from the story... I’ve read a lot of books from this author and this one wasn’t my favorite.🤷🏾‍♀️ Tessa and Max relationship was rushed and came off fairytale like. Also Max walking around 2 plus days bleeding out, with no sleep, and is able to do all that stuff in the begin of the book!!! Lol.. This is why I love my kindle unlimited!! Lol! If I’m not feeling a book, I can give it right back! But, if I love and like the book! I buy the book!! I’m all about supporting great authors! And I believe Jagger Cole is a great author!! I bought a couple of his books!!! But, this book needs some work!!! So I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️ star’s equaling our to be a C+!!! I hope the next one is better!! Give it a try, it’s a quick read and need something to past the time!!😀

This a cute, fast read. Max worked for Tessa's dad, a mafia leader who hung him out to dry. Knowing some sensitive information made Max a marked man. When a job goes south, Max is going to get his revenge. He snatches Tessa, intending to ransom her back to her dad. But all bets are off when he lays eyes on her and knows he can't ever let her go. Tessa doesn't know what to think when she gets snatched. Her dad's way of life hasn't ever sat well with her but this is too much. Will she see that Max is a man of his word and that she can trust him to keep her safe? I liked Captivated but not as much as Cherished. The premise behind Tessa's kidnapping wasn't one I have read a whole lot and that made it unique. If you love instalove and safe with a side of criminal activity, give Tessa and Max a shot!

worker vs family

Jagger did a fantastic job with this short story.
Max worked for Dina DeLuca but found out information on Dino that did not sit well with him.
Max decided to try and kidnap his daughter Tessa (who was going to medical school) to get ransom money and a clear way out of New York.
What they did not estimate was Dino sending his goons in to kill Max while he knew Tessa was there as well.
Only one place to go for help and that was to the FBI and tell them everything they knew.
Enjoy this hot story!!

Max is a buglar who stole something of value at his last job. Now he has the mob looking for him in the form of Dino De Luca. In order to get out of his predicament he kidnaps Tessa, Dino's daughter. What started out as a simple kidnapping will become so much more for both Max and Tessa . Sexy, suspensfull, drama and so e fun moments makes this the perfect weekend read . Jagger Cole mixes just enough of everything with some serious heat between the characters to captivate you. Ivolunteered to review this arc.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better – it does! In any sense of the imagination, Max and Tessa should not work, but they have come together like a bee to a flower and as one they make magic. These two could not get much hotter. Yes, the story is unrealistic, but isn’t that what you want when you’re looking for a quick jump into hot and heavy? Yes, it’s a quick read – escapism at its finest, and can anyone complain about that? I do love the ending, so read it and discover for yourself.

Captivated is a quick steamy read and can be read in one afternoon.

Max is a thief who works for the highest bidder. On his last job, he was set up by the mob boss Dino De Luca. Max now wants revenge, in the form of kidnapping his daughter Tessa. Tessa is currently studying to be a doctor, she know what her fathers does, but chooses to not acknowledge it. When Tessa is kidnapped, she learns so much more.

Max and Tessa have a strong connection and the chemistry is undeniable. This story is full of drama and fun moments with sexy times.

This was a short but fast paced steamy read. Max is instantly obsessed with Tessa when though she is just meant for revenge and leverage. Tessa has been missing a spark but finds it when a mysterious, dark and handsome man, Max, takes her. These two are drawn to each other so much that they forget that they are in hiding. I loved the action and the steam throughout this book. Even though Tessa was hidden away most of her life, she is on tough woman.

Jagger Cole nails the stories every single time I read a new one. I can never put them down and it's becoming a favorite author of mine. Max is a thief who woks for the mob and does the dirty jobs. However when things go wrong he's about to get the revenge of the century. When Max meets Tessa things are about to change. Their attraction is there and undeniable. When the bad guys come it is up to Max to save them both. However Tessa is about to get a dose of what in the world when her world turns upside down. Can these two get through the stress, mob, and family?

I don't want to spoil this for everyone so you really need to read this book and see what happens when Max and Tessa are confined together and the mob is doing everything they can to find Max. What I’m finding I love about Jagger’s stories is that no matter what they are, they flow so well. It doesn’t matter what the story is, it flows organically and I feel connected to the characters even if I don’t have their same experience. It’s refreshing. This story is short but packs a punch and I found myself captivated and unable to put it down. Yes, it’s dirty but there’s also danger and suspense and tenderness.

Max then comes up with a plan to steal the Mob's princess, Tessa. Easy, peasy, right? This new novel by Jagger Cole gets right into the story and the reader flies through the short novel. The connection between Max and Tessa is strong and untraditional, but very intense.
