1- even if Ren & Jocob story were great, it pales in comparison with Silva vs Yoh
2- fuck, you had a golden egg chicken and screws it up
3- the story is great. Read it

And there are just two more volumes before this story is complete. And now Coming back to this book it was more of the same as the team battles through the patch officiate. So let's go on and Keep on Reading.

I have always loved comics, and I can and I have. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more. You should also read what you love, and I hope you will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.

Another volume exploring most of the final Tribe members that these heroes need to fight if they want to reach Hao during his ascension sleep. More fighting, more silly and unnecessary dialogue at awkward tense moments.

I need to start by saying that the last books disappointed me. The action was too fast and the plot was too complicated without a specific reason. They had characters that were there just as fillers and a lot of action that was just there. Since the previous book the things started to go in the right direction again, and now we are here. This book was one of the best, having many key moments. I will write about them, because I want to have a close resume of what happened in this volume, so you should not read the rest of the review if you do not want spoilers.

The first chapter is gorgeous, revelling the backstory of Horo Horo. The highlight of it was the revealing that Kororo was actually the girl that Horo Horo liked, but whouse death he caused by not paying attention to her and giving her the ideea that he hates her. The ideas were well-given and the story was really emotional. It even made me cry.

I think that the moment when Opacho is angry on that person that hadn't let him to sleep at night because of his thoughts was hillarious. This little sheep is so cute when he's angry!

The discussion with Hao was helpfull, giving a new perspective of the power of mind-reading. I always thought that this power was given to a specific sort of shamans and was a cause of their streinght. I've never thought of it as something caused by loneliness.

The battle between Ren and Nichrome was really cool, even though it wasn't epic. The only problem with it was the ending, which was pushed a little bit too soon. And it was refreshing to see the boys so happy for a wining, but even that part wasn't actually in the best spot, because the real fight wasn't even started. The other fights are presented a little bit too fast, especially the one with Silva, which was the most emotional.

This volume reinforces my earlier belief that Takei should've cut down the number of Patch members the gang had to fight. Yoh and the gang make their way through a considerable portion of them, and each clash feels really rushed, even the ones with emotional resonance to their clashes. Although this remains a series where the characterisation excels, as we see wonderful layers to these characters we've followed for quite some time, and especially for Horohoro and Ren this time.

They’re just speed running at this point, the Patches they fought in the previous volumes took longer to beat and in this one they beat like 5 in the span of 7 chapters. Then we got a random backstory about Horohoro and it gets resolved in the same chapter, Opacho is still a mystery and we’re like 6 chapters away from the end…man this version is bad. I want to see how the original went about the end of the story.

Pretty bad

Tail end of Shaman King is a real slog. The Death Zero chapter included in this volume is the best thing in it.
