I need to start by saying that the last books disappointed me. The action was too fast and the plot was too complicated without a specific reason. They had characters that were there just as fillers and a lot of action that was just there. Since the previous book the things started to go in the right direction again, and now we are here. This book was one of the best, having many key moments. I will write about them, because I want to have a close resume of what happened in this volume, so you should not read the rest of the review if you do not want spoilers.
The first chapter is gorgeous, revelling the backstory of Horo Horo. The highlight of it was the revealing that Kororo was actually the girl that Horo Horo liked, but whouse death he caused by not paying attention to her and giving her the ideea that he hates her. The ideas were well-given and the story was really emotional. It even made me cry.
I think that the moment when Opacho is angry on that person that hadn't let him to sleep at night because of his thoughts was hillarious. This little sheep is so cute when he's angry!
The discussion with Hao was helpfull, giving a new perspective of the power of mind-reading. I always thought that this power was given to a specific sort of shamans and was a cause of their streinght. I've never thought of it as something caused by loneliness.
The battle between Ren and Nichrome was really cool, even though it wasn't epic. The only problem with it was the ending, which was pushed a little bit too soon. And it was refreshing to see the boys so happy for a wining, but even that part wasn't actually in the best spot, because the real fight wasn't even started. The other fights are presented a little bit too fast, especially the one with Silva, which was the most emotional.
