Ava is a successful PR strategist who has her engagement called off to make quite the mess for her so Ava's bestie takes her away from it all to catch her breath. Little did she know it would actually change her life for the better as she comes face to face with a movie worthy man, Rafael. Turns out Rafael is an actor, who is actually making a movie close to where they're at, and the connection is instant between the two, and what follows is a whirlwind romance. However, they do live in two different countries, and he's hiding something that could be problematic, so things are going to get complicated when they have to get back to their real lives while trying the whole long distance thing. I LOVED this story so much with all the heat & excitement of coloring outside the lines but I really started turning the pages quickly when life got in the way as it inevitably does to find out how it all played out. So yeah, you'll have to actually hit those one click buttons to experience what I experienced as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I always know when I want a fantastic and steamy story, I can depend on any of Ariana Rose's. Surrender did not disappoint. I loved the element of fairy-tale with adult complications of the real world that intrude on the dreamy setting. Ava and Rafael's meeting and whirlwind days following their meeting was captivating. Wondering how their lives would adjust for one another once back to reality kept me curious. The description of their journey, their paradise, all of it was memorizing. I believe I will still picture what Rafael's bracelet looks like in my mind anytime I see the cover of the book or hear the names Ava and Rafael. And side note - how fun for the Stones to make an appearance!

High angst, an intense love and finding your soulmate. When surrendering to your feelings makes you free to love. Rafael and Ava have instant chemistry. Rafael is swoon worthy. Ava is a strong confident woman until she has to face the emotions Rafael invokes. Is love really enough? This story will give you all the feels.

What's not to love about this story? A true, old school romantic hero that courts his love interest all twisted together with enough heat to keep you fanning yourself... that's a winner in my book. There's angst, heat, blush inducing moments, and scenes that made me simply grin ear to ear.
I absolutely recommend this book to any and everyone that loves romance.

Ava is pondering her life. She gets a surprise that may be just the push she needs to make some changes. Reflecting on what is present and what we want for our future is a good thing. Sometimes you can read a work of fiction, and something seems to stick out. It clicks that maybe this is something you could do in your own life.
Rafael kept me waiting until just the right moment before he lets me know what he’s thinking. As I see what his profession is, it made me say to myself that I’m reading a movie. Even though this is told in alternating persons, we get more of Ava’s reactions to what’s going on in the world around her. He is just the guide to get her to where she never knew she wanted to be.
This may be a steamy read but for me it was seeing Ava grow as a woman. Rafael seems to be the man who is all about the persona. He seems to be everything that a woman needs but I liked that the author gives me a man who isn’t without cracks. You would think that he would be someone to put on a pedestal but even an actor is human. That life isn’t simple and sometimes we need help listening. I’ve only read one other book by this author and I’m glad that this was my second. I hope you find it as interesting as I did.

Ms. Rose had my complete attention right from the start. Surrender is one of those books that will have your heart beating faster, butterflies in your stomach and then take it all away from you. Rafael and Ava's story is one that is what dreams are made of. Meeting a handsome movie star just after you end your engagement and having him treat you like a princess, is a fairytale come true. I was swooning all over Rafael and then he broke my heart and Ava's. Ava has one thing that she stands by and that is honesty. She caught her fiance cheating, but she was not devastated by the discovery as she fell out of love with him.
When Ava's friend takes her away for a week away she meets the handsome Rafael and is instantly attracted to him. They spend a little time together and go their separate ways as he lives in Italy. To Ava's surprise, Rafael contacts her and wants to see her. He flies her away for a week to Turks and Caicos. They have a very romantic time together and fell in love. Is this too good to be true? Can this be Ava's HEA? When she sees him back in the States, her heart is shattered. Can she ever forgive him? Will her heart ever be pieced back together? He loves her but his past and present cause complications especially when her company will be working with him and his management team. Will this cause more heartache for both of them?

This is a very romantic and intense story,between Ava and Rafael.

Being new to Ms.Rose's work i've been looking forward to picking up her books. Ever since i read the synopsis for this one it caught my eye right away. I added it to my TBR list. I picked it up and got into it. I enjoyed this story!
Ava and Rafael's journey captured my attention! As she's getting away from everything Ava meets Rafael in quite the memorable fashion. I couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for these two!

4 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed this story. Ava was such a strong woman, willing to take chances when pushed a little, and open. Her heart wanted more, found it, and then lost it. Rafael was quite a surprise. He was humble and felt natural, and he was very gallant and gentle. Ava and Rafael together were hot and endearing at the same time. When a secret came up, Ava was so hurt. My emotions became very much involved as I had tears through the painful parts and smiles through the better ones. The secondary characters gave more body to the story. There were parts of the story that felt a little like filler and took away some of the emotion, which is why this is 4 1/2 stars. I still highly recommend this story.

Honesty and integrity are everything to Ava. She also dreams of the romantic fantasies that she’s read about. Then comes Rafael who seems to fulfill them all. Whirlwind doesn’t begin to describe their relationship. It happens hard and it happens fast. Then it’s too hard and too fast and it implodes. I loved the relationship between Ava and her brother Austin the most. It was so real and so vivid. Rafael is a dream who knows he messes up by breaking her hard and fast rule, but he’s also willing to be vulnerable and put himself out there which I loved. Things aren’t always what they seem, but that doesn’t mean they don’t still hurt. I loved the way the other characters filled out the story. Another hit for Ariana!

Surrender by Ariana Rose is the story of Rafael and Eva. She spills coffee on him….and he’s smitten! They embark on a slow-burn romance that is fraught with denial, lies, hidden truths…and a myriad of mixed emotions that will make your head reel!!! I liked the characters, but each seemed so strongly enmeshed in their own beliefs, there was no room for flexibility at all.
This was a good story and a nice read!! I enjoyed it!

I love an amazing Love Story! Surrender is full of angsty emotions, high heat, love at first sight and it really just has all the feels. Ava and Rafael are ardent, sexy and downright intoxicating. Their whirlwind romance will have you asking for more. Ariana writes in a way that will have you begging for more, making it very hard to put the book down. This book is highly recommended. Hope to see Ava and Rafi's story continue in the future.

Wow just wow . I have to say that when I first sat down to read Surrender by the very talented Ariana Rose I definitely was not prepared for all the wonderful and crazy emotions Rafael and Ava’s journey was going to stir in me . Although I really should not be surprised as it’s written by Ariana who just so happens to be one of my very favorite authors. I can honestly sad that there has never been a book or series I’ve read by her that I have not absolutely adored . All her storyline and characters are so intriguing, unique , likable and relatable. You really can’t help but to fall in love .From the moment I met both Rafael and Ava , I knew I was in trouble , I only say this because I am someone who usually has a very hard time putting down a book once I start especially when it’s one I love . And I seriously loved every single second of this one . It’s a emotional rollercoaster in every sense of the word . Angst . Intrigue , off the charts chemistry, emotionally charged moments, twists and turns , humor , love , heartbreak, romance, family , friendships, secrets , mystery, darkness and much much more . Surrender is easily one of the best books I have read this year

This was my first book by Ariana Rose, but it won’t be my last! I enjoyed getting to know Ava and Rafael and watching their love story unfold. They were engaging, flawed, and real. The secondary characters enhanced the story without stealing attention, and I loved how unconditionally supportive they were. This book had the magical quality of being a relaxing read without being boring. All in all, a lovely, slow-burn story full of heart.

An unexpected spilt coffee has Ava meeting Rafael, who is sexy, swoony, and charming, and he is an actor who is filming in the area. There is an instant connection between these two, but what will happen when they need to go back to their normal lives? This is a well written story which has combustible chemistry, intrigue, angst, emotions, passion, drama, secrets, and is an endearing and steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.

He is an actor doing a movie in a small town. They each are intrigued by each other. Even when the vacation is over. Their story doesn't end there. As they get to know each other, they can't deny the connection. A steamy romance is what we readers are treated with. But then a secret is revealed and the HEA is threatened. This is a beautiful story all about healing, finding one's self, walls coming down, and what love can truly do. Don't ignore fate when it's calling. A must-read for romance fans. And readers of Ariana Rose will notice an easter egg in the story that will be a treat.

Ava and Rafael never thought a run-in on the sidewalk would lead to something. How does a PR person find love in the most unlikely way and will it get in the way of the job
She just keeps showing up in random places. How can I get to know her is all Rafael can think about.

My first read by the author and it did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprise how this romance story gives so much emotions that it had me tearing up in some parts and cheering for their forever. Rafael and Ava’s journey was wonderful, emotional and a romance that will give you the feels from the lows to the highs and everything in between.

great story
A well written tale, hard to pick troupes because it is celebrity but not really, it’s like new actor and potential employer it’s vacation but not, I really liked this well written and thought out story.
Usually I tend towards strong alpha MMC but somehow Rafi’s emotions and lack of self confidence in his relationship made it work!
