The purpose of this book is to validate the young Latine campaign staffers who doubt that they belong on a campaign. The book narrates Chuck’s journey from union organizing to advising one of the most powerful campaigns in 2020. It adds depth and context to the many articles and think pieces surrounding Bernie’s Latine organizing. Having worked on a campaign, I wish Chuck would have given more advice to Latines about how we can organize.

How to organize and mobile latino voters based on the book:
1) Invest in/ actually put money towards reaching out to Latino voters.
2) Ensure staff includes many Latinos in order to have people who have cultural competency with latino voters.
3) Reach out to Latino voters early or at the same time all voters are reached out to.

Great book Chuck
As someone who has invested many years empowering the Latinx community in America’s smallest state Rhode Island who has experienced many of the issues confronted by Chuck from local unions, Democrats who although claimed to support the Latinx community, refused the invest money reaching out to Latinx voters and turned against anyone who succeeded against their lack os support and backlash I truly enjoy this book for it simplistic but powerful way of amplifying the value of Latinx voters and the need by Democrats to invest in our GOTV efforts.
I recommend this book to all Democratic candidates and Democratic Party who still think that Latinx can only serve as free volunteers under white young kids that are privileged to lear the campaign process while being paid to lead experience Latinx activist with years of experience learned in the field who are more capable that the privilege kid who get their positions based on daddy’s fat contributions and insider contacts we don’t have nor can afford. I also recommend to All Latinx Activist that habed endured years of democratic campaign systemic racism that hasn’t permitted us to fulfill our political and electoral intellectual capacity as an inspiration that the future is bright as Chuck has validated that we’re capable of managing campaigns and Latinx voter mobilization when giver the opportunity, sustainable support, and equitable financial support.
I gave this book 5 stars because Chuck's story reflects my story and every Latinx Activist that understand our community values and are able to mobilize it. Thank You Chuck for the great book and proving ¡Que Si Podemos!

The most prolific organizing operation in dem primary history. Just so epic. Brings me back to the primary season when it became clear that grassroots campaigns are now the top dogs. Latinos will carry our electorate to a new bold vision.
And then Dem party coalesced around Biden’s shell campaign instead? Laughable way to invest in the future of your party - if you reject this mobilization of the most important growing demographic in US politics, how can you in good faith act like voter engagement is your number one priority? Theyve been scratching their heads trying to get Latinos on their side since Bush won them, and they continue to play stupid. That’s how much they don’t want progressives to win.. smfh. They won’t even hire Rocha to help with the general. Give me a break.
