Elouise East writes sweet and steamy connections in gay romance. She also touches on taboo stories under the name Elouise R East.

Books that tell the stories where friendship and family are the focal point - be it blood family or chosen - are very important to her. That’s why she includes a variety of personalities, talents, ages, situations and abilities as she believes a story or character needs. She wants her characters to be real, to be relatable, to be free to have whatever views they tell her they have. And trust her, most of the time, she does not have any say in the matter!

Her characters come to life on the page for her as well as her readers. Their stories unfold in front of her as she writes, and she has very little input into how they want to be shown. Just like real life, the lives of her characters change with every choice, every interaction and every conversation. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

She writes books that are emotionally realistic, even if liberties are taken with other aspects of the stories. She doesn’t know any other way to write. It comes from deep inside.

Who is she? A single parent to two children living in the UK. An avid reader who still tries to devour every book she can get her hands on. A student of learning about any subject that takes her fancy. An author of books she would read herself. And a romantic at heart who loves anything cheesy.

Who’s joining her on her journey?

Isaac is forty-four and didn’t expect to have a boy again. But when he got the much younger sparkling Henley under his wings, everything screamed Daddy.
We can follow them where they start a relationship and how it developed.
Nice, sweet, warm-hearted but, that’s it, there are no events here, no action, nothing.
Because of that with no real high or low, I had not much to hold on to and couldn’t fully connect with the guys
Overall a sweet story but it stayed a bit flat.

What could be bad about having a Daddy/Boy relationship with your boss? Nothing can go wrong, right?

Actually, nothing goes wrong. It’s a sweet, caring story of people being in the right place at the right time.

I absolutely love Daddy/boy stories, so I jumped on Soothe Me, Daddy as soon as I saw it was available. I was especially excited because the MCs worked together, and I wanted to see how that would play out. With this book, I got a sweet story with nearly zero conflict, some entertaining background characters, and a nice HEA.

Isaac and Henley were a couple of great guys. They enjoyed their work, were devoted to their families, and had good friends they spent time with outside of work. The chemistry between them was nearly instant, and while it wasn’t necessarily explosive, it was all encompassing. In essence, they were perfect for each other.

He inhaled. “Well, a Daddy takes care of a boy, tells him what he can and can’t do, makes sure he’s safe and looked after, punishes him when he needs it. And the boy does what he’s told.” Isaac tilted his head side to side. “Roughly, yes. Is that what you need?” “Yes.”
Henley ~ Confident, Vibrant, beautiful boy who knows who he is and what he wants.
Issac ~ Controlling, demanding, no nonsense Daddy who needs 24/7 relationship.
I didn't like this story as much as the other two in the series. The first spanking scene was a bit of a turnoff for me personally. They hadn't even established that they were a boy/Daddy relationship and Issac still spanked Henley in an office environment of all places because he was being whiney. The quote was a date that happened after the spanking scene. So you can understand where the confusion comes from. I didn't love a lot of the rest of the spanking scenes either. It seemed liked Henley didn't need to do much to get a punishment. Maybe the vibe of this book was so different from the first and third that it didn't really fit for me. I'm not an Issac fan and won't be putting this on my read again list.

A lovely read, Isaac and Henley are gorgeously gentle and kind men, together they make a perfect Daddy/Boy relationship. Isaac lost his last boy a couple of years ago, he lost heart and withdrew from that lifestyle, but when he laid eyes on sweet, effeminate Henley, that old spark rekindled. It's a gentle and delightful story that unfolds as they start their relationship, something that is new but welcome for Henley. No angst here, just wonderful romance And an hea.

I really wanted to love this book. I went into it thinking I'd love it but finished it just thinking it was meh. Henley and Isaac have chemistry but by the time they decide to have a relationship I had already lost interest. There needed to be more plot and connection with Henley and Isaac. I found myself skimming after about halfway through because I couldn't connect and the story just wasn't there.

Henley loves his family and his work friends but he can be a handful at times that has trouble making decisions about his life. He knows he needs someone to help him. He's never had a Daddy but everything he knows about Daddy's is everything he wants. When he considers moving to a different department at work Issac also being in that department helps his decision.

Issac hasn't had a boy in a while and accepts that he is out of that life. When he has to train the new hire he doesn't expect and well dressed blue haired boy he gets. The attraction is there between them but Issac needs to make sure Henley knows exactly what type of relationship he wants. He's shocked when Henley wants Issac to be his Daddy.

Henley and Issac have an instant attraction that you watch grow into something so much more. Once they got together the story sort of stalled for me. There was no real action after that point.

I wanted more from the story

For a book that is only 109 pages, this sure moved at a glacial pace. I suppose I’m used to shorter length books moving a little faster, but this was really slow. We were nearly to the 50% mark before a kiss was even exchanged. There was definitely a good amount of relationship building between Isaac and Henley, which was good in that the relationship did not appears rushed.

I found myself liking Henley a lot more than Isaac. Henley was so open and a little bratty, which I like. He certainly knew how to push Isaac’s buttons. Isaac seemed a little closed off, maybe due to his past relationship, I’m not sure.

The Daddy/Boy aspect of this story wasn’t in your face at all. In fact, it seemed more of a Daddy story than anything else. I’m not complaining about that, just don’t go into this expecting a full on Daddy/Boy dynamic.

There was a bump with the co-worker issue, when Isaac and Henley are called in the HR office, that seemed a little extraneous. There didn’t seem to be an actual reason for it and I wasn’t exactly sure why it was put in there. Isaac’s integrity is questioned and we already knew what kind of character he had.

Overall, this was just an okay book for me. There wasn’t anything that really wowed me and I was a little disappointed.

Soothe Me, Daddy
MMy Thoughts and Review

Most people want to move up the corporate ladder for more money and the benefits that being an exec bring. Henley however, had different reasons and they all had to do with the very handsome older gentleman, Isaac.

Isaac had all but given up on finding his perfect boy. Then, one day, the clouds opened, and the most colorful and vibrant young man walked into Isaac’s life and he knew things would never be the same. If anyone ever needed a Daddy in their life, it was definitely this bouncy ball of sunshine named Henley. Isaac knew he would do what he needed to make Henley his. If he only knew, Henley had been making those same plans for quite some time. Now they just needed fate to shine her light on them.

This is an adorable MM Daddy/boy kink romance. The characters are quite charming, including the secondary cast of characters of fellow employees and family. Henley has sisters who love to dote on him and take care of him. They love seeing him pampered and happy and go out of their way to do so. They are more like best friends to him than siblings and I loved the relationship they had together.

Henley is also a very loving character and someone you would want as your friend. He is an encourager, is fun to be around, and always wants to include everyone so no one feels excluded and left out. Henley is such a sweetie you cannot help but fall in love with him.

Isaac on the other hand is likes caring for people too. At the top of that list is…you guessed it, his boy. He pays attention and is strong when needed, gentle when it is called for, and even calls for back up (in the form of Henley’s sisters) when the situation warrants it. Isaac is wonderful to always help Henley’s light stay bright and never try to dim or douse it.

If you are looking for a sweet romance with a side of sMMexy Daddy/boy hawtness, you have found it. This is a super cute read. 🥰📚🥰

Soothing his boy is a pleasure in more ways than one...

Isaac is looking for his very own boy, but as yet his search has turned up nothing but disappointment. At work, he gets a new assistant to train for a month or so before he is out on his own. Henley is perfect for the job, works hard and gives Isaac such a thrill by being obedient and so easy to train, but had Henley even heard of Daddy and Boy relationships, let alone want one?

Henley is searching for his daddy to take care of him and give each other what they need. Isaac at work looks perfect from the outside, he cares for all his staff and is good at his job so when an opportunity opens up to be trained by Isaac, Henley jumps at the chance, but can he convince Isaac to be his daddy.

This book has the sweetest set-up premise and two main characters that really just need to get over themselves and their reservations and make each other happy!

It is only 40,000 words or so, so it is a quick fix, if you need a little something sweet and a little bit kinky on your kindle.

I found the situation in a retail company felt clumsy at first , but maybe that was just because I’m not very familiar with that kind of work, but once we got into the characters and they were working together, the cuteness was realised, and the naughty escapades at work showed they were perfect for each other.

Recommended.

Henley is interviewing for a new job within his company. He's secretly hoping to get closer to someone that already works in this new department, Isaac. When Henley not only gets the job, but gets to train under Isaac, he can't believe his luck.

Both Isaac and Henley are great guys. I loved how Isaac takes care of everyone around him without prompting. He clearly loves to nurture and care for people in his life. Henley is one of those people who would get along with practically anyone, and he was fun to watch in action. I loved how Henley managed to bring so many people together and was so animated and full of positive energy. I liked Henley's sisters as well as the rest of his family. Isaac had a great family too, and it was wonderful to see both families get along.

I enjoyed this book, but I was disappointed that the conflict brewing at work was dealt with mostly off-page and barely mentioned. While it was great to see how compatible and how well Isaac and Henley fit together, it would have been nice to see something other than the work situation go wrong between them; everything seemed to be too easy in a way.

Even though this is the second book in the series, I read this one without any problems as a standalone. If you're looking for a Daddy kink read without drama or angst and some cool characters, this one may be for you.

Henley knows that he wants a Daddy to take care of him which he knows he needs as he can be a handful. He starts a new job his gaze falls on a prime specimen of someone who could be a Daddy based on his behaviour - can he persuade him to be HIS Daddy? Isaac had had enough of the clubs and scenes and just wants someone to be his own boy. When he has the responsibility to train the most obedient guy he has ever met he is hooked. The question is if Henley knows what a boy is and how to be one even though he acts like one. Powerless to stop the relationship as they compliment each other so well, is Isaac the right Daddy for Henley and is he the right boy for Isaac?

I enjoyed this story with the way that they got on so well and that the Daddy/Boy relationship fit them so well. Isaac was a nurturing soul who loved caring for people and his careful care of Henley was no exception to that. I loved the way that Isaac was very careful to go slowly to make sure that Henley was certain as well as protecting himself and his own heart. Easy to read and understand, this was an MM story with mature content of a BDSM DDLBrelationship. I loved the way it ended.

I usually like Daddy/boy romances, but I wasn't a huge fan of this one. Something about Henley and Isaac remained elusive throughout this entire story, and I wasn't able to connect with them the way I wanted to. Henley was such a bright, exuberant boy, but his thoughts were surprisingly quiet. I wanted to know more about what motivated him, but I remained frustratingly unaware. Isaac was a lovely and caretaking Daddy, but he too kept his secrets locked away and I could never fully understand him. I also felt a little weird about him giving Henley a spanking before they openly discussed a relationship. If there had been a satisfying plotline in the background, I might have been able to overlook some of my issues, but this is one of those stories where the relationship is the main focus and not much else is happening. Though I did finish this book, I skimmed through the last third because I wasn't interested enough to read the fine details.

Sweet and Hot!

Soothe Me, Daddy is the first book I've read by Elouise East and I enjoyed it. I don't think that daddy kink will ever become my favorite type of MM romance but the ones I have read I enjoyed.

Isaac and Henley are both likeable characters. Henley has a bright personality and the way he dresses reflects this. His clothes are one of the first things that Isaac notices about him. Henley has admired Isaac and wanted to get to know him but he works in a different department from him. When the opportunity comes to work in the same department as Isaac, Henley quickly applies for the new job.

This book has a great cast of supporting characters in the form of family members – especially Henley's sisters. Overall, this book was sweet with two characters who cared for each other with little to no angst factor at all.

A copy of this book was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

Candy Floss Sweet

Henley and Isaac were sweet like candy floss. After observing Isaac at work from a distance, Henley becomes smitten and applies for an executive position at his job only to find out that Isaac will be his trainor for eight weeks. As they spend time together Henley sees Isaac as the perfect Daddy for him and they start to fall in love. It was nice for a change to have both mc's have big happy families and who were accepting of their lives. I'm usually drawn to hurt/comfort books but this was a very sweet romantic book with no angst set in England. I always enjoy English references as they just add so much more to the story. I love Elouise's writing as her books are so unique from the jobs the mc's have to their families to the settings. Maybe because they are set in England and they just do and see things differently than we do. Whatever it is, it's refreshing and I love it. I highly recommend this series and can't wait for the next book.

I wanted to DNF the book several times but I kept wanting to give it a chance. It wasn’t bad per say but it was anything new. I did like how considerate and kind Isaac, not only to Henley but to everyone on his life.

He wasn’t a possessive or overbearing Dom. And he truly did focus on improving his boys life. Also, it was nice to also see a daddy boy dynamic without the little aspects because it showed how diverse the lifestyle could be.

They were a cute couple from very stable and lovable families which was nice. As well as both were very social and loved to meet new people. A very different aspect in many other Daddy boy books where the boy is usually very nervous and socially awkward.

It showed diversity and that was interesting. The book wasn’t bad by any means of the imagination but it didn’t wow me or hooked me into the story. I think I’ll skip book 3.

Recommend as a light and quick read.

This is book 2 in the series but can be read as a
Stand alone.

Henley has never had a daddy but he knows he needs and wants one more than anything. He needs someone to help him get through life and make the hard choices. When the opportunity arises to a chance to work with Issac he can’t pass it up.

Issac is a natural daddy but after his last boy didn’t work out he thinks that’s it for him. That is until he is tasked with training in the new guy. Issac finds Hanley the perfect boy sweet innocent needing leadership but a slight brat at the same tome he just needs a daddy maybe Issac can be that for him.

The Chemistry is off the wall but the sweet and innocent moments are just as good. With the addition of supportive families and friends this is a really enjoyable read .

Review: This was a more solid story for me than book 1 in this series. It was still a bit too abbreviate for me, but I felt more connected to the characters than in book 1. The chemistry between the characters was good. The writing was sold, but the pacing was too quick.

Henley and Isaac work at the same company but they don't really know each other. When Henley starts working for Issac's department Issac ends up being the one to train him for the job. The attraction between them is evident and they soon find out that they like the same things and are compatible in every way.
I had a great time following their story and seeing them grow closer and fall in love. What I love the most about this type of dynamic in a relationship is the caring, it just warms my heart and makes me smile. The book made me feel good. It was very sweet and romantic.

I've read the entire Daddy series and I have to say that Soothe Me, Daddy is my favourite - don't get me wrong, a little angst is always welcome but sometimes you just want sweet! That's what you get from Soothe Me, Daddy - just a sweet daddy and his boy connecting! Henley and Isaac click and make you want them to get their HEA!

All of the Daddy books are well written and can be read standalone but I recommend starting at the beginning and reading all the way through - than you too can pick your favourite!

DNF at 40%

I tried to get thru this, infact I attempted in twice. Made it further this time, first time I stopped at 25% but tried to power thru this time. But holy snooze fest! This was soooooo boring! And I didn't really care for either MC. Issac didn't seem all that bright, like how can you first off threaten someone with a spanking for their whining and then follow thru, at work no less, and still question if he has any idea what a "Daddy" is?
2stars but only cause I have to find it really bad for a 1star and this wasn't god awful just not good.

Henley & Isaac

I loved Henley and Isaac together, especially how Henley pursued him. Henley is femme and has enough confidence for everyone in the book, and more. He could be whiny and a brat here and there but not over the top so it can be overlooked if that bothers you. Isaac was lost after his last relationship mainly because he has no idea what went wrong. He was hesitant to fully trust Henley but once he let go they were wonderful together. With the book being shorter you don't get explanations or closure on some items but still a sweet read overall.

Soothe Me, Daddy

This was a sweet daddy/boy story about a daddy who wasn’t sure the right boy would ever appear, and a boy who feels the same about a daddy. Henley has had his eyes on Isaac for a while, and even applies for a new job in his company in hopes of getting closer. Isaac is immediately taken with Henley, and eventually they become closer and then fall in love. This is a great story with lots of friends and family, love, and hopefully an HEA. I thought it ended abruptly, but I really enjoyed it.

A daddy who is between boys and isn't really looking and a boy who knows what he wants and goes for it. Elouise East writes a feel good story. With a guaranteed HEA. There's no angst. No dysfunction. Both characters have healthy relationships with their loving families.
There's no hurt/comfort. No ABDL. Just a good story. A comfortable world build.
Book one in her daddy stories (this is the second of three) was a touch dark. Liked this one better. A good cozy read

This was a sweet, light, fun, fluffy and steamy romance. Loved it!! Henley sees Isaac as his perfect Daddy. Isaac is forty-four and gets the opportunity to Daddy the much younger Henley, he didn’t think he’d ever have that opportunity again. This was interesting.

I thought the story was good snd I liked that it was a different type of Daddy/boy dynamic from the other one. I would have loved more details about what went on with Leon. I felt it was treated as an afterthought when it would have shown how deep and strong Henley and Isaac are.

I enjoyed Henley and Isaac dynamic, that was Daddy/Boy but I also loved the family dynamic they each and with their families. The lil bit of drama around work was just enough. This is a light standalone read.
