As a newly excited distance runner this was a fast but interesting read. Nothing was pushy in having to do things a certain way all just from experience. The interviews are great and there are a dozen+ recipes I’m ready to try right away. This is based in Europe more so I wasn’t surprised to seeing more variety of ingredients and dishes.

A gem of a cookbook! The interviews are fantastic, but the breakfasts are where it’s really at. I make the baked oatmeal for a week then freeze a batch of pre cut squares that I can take with me on the run, and the sweet potato rosti with labneh and avocado is incredible.

The interviews in the book with trail runners were interesting, but a lot of the recipes weren’t to my taste
