David Bernstein is a sweet boy who gets into Mitzy/Trudy-like situations. What I really appreciate about this book is how realistic David's choices are and how there are consequences for making poor choices. This was a little over my 2yo and 4yo's heads, but my 5yo loved it.

I didn't really like the story that much. I only liked two stories, with the mystery of Mr. Salmon and them meeting the 'real' Santa Claus. The last story reminded me of one of Enid Blyton's stories. Speaking of him, I've gotta give his books another reread. I missed him.
I think this book is amazing!Only some parts in the book were super boring. It all begins with David Bernstein. He was in the third grade and there were three other boys named David in his class. There was;David Katz,David Rodriguez and David Shapiro.David Bernstein did not like this at all.One day, he was reading a book called 'The Arabian Nights'.He had discovered a name in the book.It was Ali Baba. There was no other Ali Baba in his class and as he knew there was no other Ali Baba in his school. So he told his parents, teachers and friends to call him Ali Baba. One friday,he class was taking a field trip to the liabary. Ali Baba had forgoten his liabary card at home in the pocket of his liabary book, that was under his bed.He had already gotten on his bus and had already arrived at school. He
