Can Love Survive Hot Air Balloon Crashes and Vortexes!
Maggie Chambers is the villain of Millionaire Engagement reality TV show, She shocked the nation by capturing the heart of JT Devonshire, but can she keep it?
Being with JT means moving to rattlesnake infested one hundred and eighteen-degree desert of Tucson Arizona. It also includes being the outsider in a tight-knit community and taking on Dee, the crafty TV producer, who has no short supply of meddling tactics.
Is love worth hot air balloon crashes, vortexes, spiritual energy healers, and the ever-present cameras for the most popular TV show?
Anastasia Alexander doesn’t have the answers to life’s love questions. What she does know is that love in the 21st Century is complex. There are no easy answers, and there is a lot of richness and juiciness in exploring all the complexity that love brings.
Her credentials are two failed marriages, equaling twenty-three years of marriage and a willingness to believe that maybe a third one will be her lucky number. Or she might decide to compete with Elizabeth Taylor for who can get married the most times. It is yet to be determined which option she’s going to go for, but until then she pours her passion and sarcasm for relationships into her stories.
Weirdly I liked it, even with it being pretty much a clean cut romance. Yes there's drama and plenty of it let me tell you. And I swear it jumped right into the action. But I'm pretty sure I missed a book or two perhaps. Because what contest and who what when where???? Other than that it was a good little story. Maggie will finally get her dream match made in heaven. Only problem is there seems to be no time for her in JT's little world for her. And it seems no one like her and they all want a piece of her husband to be. Can she fit into his world and will she let him go?
The fifth book in the Millionaire Romance series a well written story that held my interest until the end. I enjoyed reading Maggie Chambers the villain of Millionaire Engagement reality TV show and JT Devonshire with all its ups and downs. I received a copy of this book via and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Sedona Upset was a new twist on a bachelor like story since it was over forty folks participating. The hero is a millionaire living in Arizona while the heroine is a city girl from LA, so what could go wrong with their engagement?! They don't have much in common honestly, but you already know opposites attract and all that, but they don't know each really well even after deciding they were in love. It did draw me in from the jump because of the unique factor, and didn't stop until I finished every last page. I will say that they did develop well as the story went on, plus their chemistry was a bonus, but will their differences be too much?! You'll have to hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
In The Sedona Upset Anastasia Alexander, its author continues relating the fascinating romance of JT and Maggie after they met and fell in love in the reality TV show Millionaire Engagement. Now, it is time to go home and start their new life. However, for Maggie this will be a real change and challenge. This is an easy and fun read. The characters are likeable and real. I genuinely enjoyed reading about them and how they adjust to their new reality as a couple. Each of these characters fulfils an important part of the story and has funny, sad, and nail-biting turns until the very end. They engage in funny and dramatic dialogues and situations. The Sedona Upset is a fast read but one that anyone would enjoy as once you start reading, you cannot stop.
The Sedona Upset: A Reality TV Romance by Anastasia Alexander is one of the books of the Millionaire Romance series. It is a typical romance and drama story that continues to develop between Maggie Chambers and JT Devonshire. In this case, for Maggie, being with JT means moving to the desert of Tucson, Arizona, which is anything but to her liking. The story is, like other books of the series, full of drama, love and adventures. It is enjoyable and easy to read because the plot is fluid, simple and entertaining. It is ideal to enjoy the story and not think too much about anything else. I recommend reading the previous books to understand the entire story but even so it is possible to read only this.
"The Sedona Upset" by Anastasia Alexander is a good story of love, adventure, and reality TV drama. Maggie Chambers, the unexpected villain of a reality show, continues her captivating journey. The challenges of love in the arid deserts of Tucson, Arizona, make for a unique backdrop. Alexander's storytelling entangles readers in a tale of rattlesnakes, community dynamics, and the ever-watchful cameras. The characters are vividly real, and their complex relationships keep you hooked. With hot air balloon crashes, vortexes, and meddling producers, this book is a rollercoaster of emotions. Is love worth it? Alexander keeps us guessing till the end in this Millionaire Romance series installment. I will totally recommend this read!
This is the fifth book in the series, although I haven't read the other books this was a fun read.
He's a millionaire living in the Arizona Desert and she's from LA--a city girl. Their engagement is the result of The Batchelor type program for older couples. While they are in love it's clear they don't know each other well and the differences just might be a deal-breaker.
I did like the couples and their growth. It took her longer to stand up for herself then I would have liked and for him to realize his part in the relationship. However, her son was a great character and obviously raised well. Will they realize what they need to do to keep their love?
True to the series, this is drama-filled.. I think this is my favorite though. JT and Maggie have always so easily got caught up in the expectations, self and others. As they filter through the many twist and turns in this new chapter of their relationship, I think their relationship finally shows some maturity and their love for one another is obvious. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Maggie can't believe that millionaire JT is interested in her. This whole romance show was a crazy idea and she isn't really a fan favorite. But she is and so she has to face the consequences of her decisions, will she move to Arizona for him? Will she give up on their blooming love? This was a sweet romance with little angst, some hairy creatures and scary moments that our damsel gets rescued from. It was an enjoyable book.
I love it when a location plays as a character in a story. The Arizona desert is such a great backdrop for this little story. I really got a sense of the challenge of moving from LA to Arizona. I picked this book up, not knowing it was the fifth of a series. I think it probably would’ve helped me if I had read the other books 1st. Having said that, this was still a cute romance that I got swept up in. A pleasure to read!

This is a captivating read for fans of romance, reality TV, and the great outdoors, who will be swept away by the riveting adventures, sizzling chemistry, and heartwarming exploration of love's power to overcome even the most daunting challenges.
I have read all the books in this series and was happy to hear that we would get to visit with Maggie and JT again. I enjoyed reading more of their story. I was glad when Maggie came to her senses and decided that she wasn't going to change herself for him even if she loved him. I think that is the worse thing we can do...lose ourselves just because we are trying to keep someone else happy. I love that JT loved her for who she was too. He didn't want a cookie cutter wife that lived up to everyone else's perspectives. This book showed growth on both their parts as they struggled to find their perfect balance. It was realistic and easy to identify with. I really enjoy this author and will continue to read her books. I would recommend this book and the rest of the series to others.
