All the maid at Whiskey Mountain Lodge wants for her birthday is a handsome cowboy billionaire. And Colton can make that wish come true—if only he hadn’t moved to Coral Canyon after being left at the altar...
Annie Pruitt has worked for the Whittaker Brothers for years, and now with the lodge a full-fledged mountain resort, she's the full-time maid up the canyon. She's getting older, and she's watched all these people come through Whiskey Mountain Lodge who've found love.
And she wants to be next.
When Celia bakes her a birthday cake and the whole family gathers for Annie's party, they tell her to make a wish. Easy, peasy. She wishes for a cowboy billionaire of her own, and not five minutes later, in walks tall, broad, beautiful Colton Hammond.
Colton needs a place to stay after his fiancée leaves him standing at the altar with all of his friends and family watching. He's left Colorado and he's not going back. He's also not interested in women or dating. He just needs somewhere to stay for a few nights, and he's heard great things about Whiskey Mountain Lodge--but not, apparently, that it's closed for a private event every year during the holidays.
But the Whittakers are nothing if not kind and accommodating, and they manage to find a bed for Colton. Sparks fly between him and Annie when she starts asking him questions, and with so many meddlers at the lodge, he and Annie really don't stand a chance of just ignoring each other.
Will Annie's birthday wish come true? Or will Colton's scarred heart keep them from achieving happily-ever-after?

I happen to be one who can sometimes find it challenging to keep track of characters and their relationship to each other as a story unfolds. So, I keep a spiral notebook handy to record each new character when introduced in the story. After many years of reading, I must say that never before have I experienced an author who introduced around two dozen separate people in the first chapter alone. Very few of these were identified by anything except by name. There was almost no indication of age, relationship, or status. I found this technique to be annoying and distracting. I came near to aborting the story at the end of the first chapter.
However, I am glad I continued because the story, as a whole, ended being an acceptable clean romance. As it worked out, with a few exceptions, all the characters introduced in the first chapter were members of the multigenerational Whitaker family. They had joined together to spend the holidays together. Before the story concluded, the full cast of characters was in the vicinity of fifty characters. I have never before been in such need of a detailed list of characters to keep the story understandable.
I appreciated the fact that the protagonists were not from the younger generation. One of the heroine’s daughters becomes engaged as the story progresses. One major accomplishment is the fact that I did not discover a single editorial error while reading this story. I offer three-stars for this offering by Liz Isaacson.
Yay! The series continues. And this time we get to see Annie find a new happily ever after. This book can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s best read as part of the series. It starts a new subset of books at Whiskey Mountain Lodge, but all the characters from the previous books make an appearance, so it’s helpful to be acquainted with them first. I really like that Annie and Colton are characters that are past the first blush of youth. They have experience, and foibles, and idiosyncrasies. And since I’m in a similar age bracket to them, that makes it very easy for me to relate to them. I loved Annie in the earlier novels, but here she left me scratching my head a lot of the time. Her jealousy confused me. I think it confused everyone and it’s never well explained. She knows what she wants and she’s not above running hell-bent for leather to get it. Even at the expense of the relationship she’s trying to build. I really liked Colton. He’s guarded, but he’s earned that state the hard way. I loved watching him come out from inside that shell. I’m very intrigued by the setup for the next book and I look forward to reading it. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish is book 9 in Christmas in Coral Canyon by Liz Isaacson, enjoying this series!
Annie Pruitt, maid at Whiskey Mountain Lodge wants to find love like all the people who have come through the Lodge. So when the Lodge celebrates for her 52nd birthday, she wishes for a cowboy billionaire her own. Little does she expect her wish to happen almost immediately but in walks Colton Hammond…is he her birthday wish or is Colton’s heart not for the asking?
Whiskey Mountain Lodge is such a friendly place to vacation. During Christmas they close down lodge to guests so the Whittaker family and friends can celebrate the holiday together. There are several days of events so hopefully something for everyone to enjoy. This year they have decided to celebrate Annie Pruitt birthday when they all together. Annie has just make her wish and blown the candles out when in walks Colton Hammond who has taken shelter hoping there might be a bed for him for one night as he is traveling trying to get over being left at the alter. He is 42 years old and was suppose to marry for the first time. This has been especially difficult for his trust in woman. The snow storm is moving in fast so looking like he will be here for several days. He is about the learn how this large family adopts others into their family. Surprising there are sparkles between Annie and Colton as they partake in the different events getting to know each other. As this happens to Annie and Colton there are many sides stories with different family members and the employees . This keeps you informed on how the rest of the people in the lodge are doing. Colton has to return to Denver because his family has decided to sign their large family business over to their three cousins so that three of the Hammond brothers can learn to live, relax and enjoy themselves. It is unfortunate but when Colton leaves Annie is not sure about their relationship. Now is where you need to pick up this wonderful book to finish reading to see if Annie and Colton get their HEA. Liz writes such exciting love stories. I have been reading her for ages now.
This is the continuation of a great series with the Whittakers and Whiskey Mountain Lodge. Annie has the cleaning contract for the Lodge. Colton is an unexpected guest due to the snow storm. Annie and Colton have an instant attraction. Annie had just wished on her birthday cake candles that she could find a companion/husband. The problem is that Annie is ready to get married again after several years of being a widow and having grown daughters. Colton is just starting to get over being left at the altar a few weeks ago. They aren't in the same place for a relationship. Annie gets jealous even though she doesn't have a right to and Colton explains that the other women are just friends but she still can't get over it. A breaking point comes when Colton leaves early to go back to Denver for a family meeting and tells Annie that she needs to let him slowly come to a relationship. Will they be able to get back together before it's too late and have her birthday wish come true? We meet Colton's brothers so I think there will be more books with these billionaire brothers. I'm looking forward to reading them. I received a free copy of this book and am leaving my honest review
Will Trust Issues Keep Colton & Annie from their HEA💗? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I ❤️ed this Wonderful, Engrossing, Entertaining, Western, Inspirational, Romance Story!
Whiskey Mtn Lodge has been Annie's main client, for her cleaning business, for the past 5 years. The Whittaker Families start their Family Christmas Celebration @ the Lodge, with a belated Birthday Party for Annie.
Colton stops at Whiskey Mtn Lodge, to get out of a blizzard. He's left Colorado, to distance himself from his disastrous Wedding; where his 👰 left him standing at the altar!
Annie & Colton like each other instantly. The blizzard ❄️ strands everyone at the lodge several days; while sparks fly between Colton & Annie. But both have personal issues they need to work out.
Colton has commitments to keep, back Home. He isn't ready for a Courting Relationship with Annie, after a only a few days. So he goes back to Colorado. I Highly Recommend You Read Liz Isaacson's, "Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish", to find out what what happens next, in this Awesome Story! See how God helps them individually get to their Forever 💞! ❤️📖
I had uncertain feelings about Annie and her back-and-forth jealousy. That didn't seem to gel with her confidence and self-worth that had been developed over her years of having a successful business and especially with the obvious love that she had received and shared with her deceased husband. Was this all stemming from her need to have someone in her life now that her two daughters were grown and living on their own and her not wanting to remain alone or was it the intense attraction she felt for Colton and the knowledge that once the storm passed he would most likely be leaving to continue his trip to wherever he had been going and this would be an opportunity missed? This all made for a very interesting book in the Coral Canyon series and I am looking forward to seeing what the stories will be for Bree and Elise when they are written.

I received a free copy and am voluntarily leaving my review.
I love Annie and Colton. Both are at different stages in their life. Annie is ready to find someone to so she doesn't spend the rest of her life alone. She has been alone long enough. Colton doesn't want a relationship right now because he is still hurting from being stood up at the alter. Although I think he is more angry with himself for letting his ex turn him into someone he wasn't. He is now trying to find who he was before. He feels Annie is pushing him to go somewhere he is not ready to be and with her being jealous of him talking to the other women at the lodge, he decides to leave right away since the weather has cleared up and he isn't stranded anymore. Will they realize that they truly do love each other or will Colton just stay away because he felt pushed?
This book introduces the Hammond brothers to Whiskey Mountain Lodge. When Annie is told to make a wish before blowing out the candles on her birthday cake she wishes for a cowboy billionaire of her own. After all, she is surrounded by cowboy billionaires that have found their sole mates there at the lodge! When Colton Hammond stumbles into the party there is an instant attraction—but who is he and why is he at the lodge that is closed for Christmas?? Annie is a widow with two grown daughters and Colton is still licking his wounds from being left at the altar not too long ago. I love the interactions between Annie and her daughters and between Colton and his brothers. I love these clean romances that deal with families and faith. Don’t miss this newest installment in the Christmas in Coral Canyon Series from Liz Isaacson!
It was good to visit with the Whitakers again. When Colton Hammond shows up needing a room right before Christmas he is taken in and made one of the family. Sparks fly between him and Annie, the cleaner for the lodge. She has been a widow for many years and is realizing that she is ready to have someone to love. Colton is in a slightly different place, having been left at the alter just a few weeks previously. I was rooting for them but I have to say I really admire Colton’s patience. Annie is a little too insecure and I really wanted to shake her. This is a fun book because you really have to wonder if Liz Isaacson is going to be able to work her magic and get these two together.
I love reading through this series. Each book introduces more brothers, bfriends, girlfriends and workers. Starting the series with the four Whittaker brothers, the books progress but continue to includes the wives and children. This story deals with heartbreak, reluctance to start a new relationship, being misunderstood, jealousy, and another chance at love. Colton and Annie do not live in the same town and a chance at a relationship seems dim when Annie's jealousy nearly wipes it out. Colton is gun shy but certainly interested, but can't handle being forced into anything yet after being left at the altar. Snow storms, Christmas traditions, new babies, and romance keep things moving. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.
LOVED this book with the Whittaker family as they come together for their annual Christmas gathering! And as the fun is about to begin, we meet Colton Hammond, a weary stranger who comes knocking on the door during a major snowstorm and Annie the maid who makes a special birthday wish. Follow the fun, celebrations, romance as we also meet the staff of the Whiskey Mountain Lodge family. And then there's the Hammond brothers! Wow! Loved the family camaraderie and interaction in this clean romance, and I can't wait to read Wes' story after he's hired as the "butler" at the Lodge! I received a complimentary ARC copy and have voluntarily given my honest opinion in this review.
I was wary to jump into the “cowboy billionaire” craze, but I loved this story! The fact that Colton was in the vicinity of the lodge to stop, just before getting snowed in for a week!? Annie is sweet, and her grown daughters are awesome! Annie has a soft spot for Eden over Emily, and we all got that, too! I love how Bree’s and Wes’s story began in this book, and I’m so excited to see it continue in the next! The real-life pressures Annie put on herself were real, and I love how they were overcome in the story. Colton and Annie are perfect for each other!
Trying to finish, I like the story it's sweet and clean but h is constantly jealous and expecting more from someone she just met. while I like the H, he was always doing things alone with the 2 other women. Not very comforting to the person he did seem to care about. Not hitting the Christian values as much in this. I was a bit disappointed in this one
So slow. Different POV’s not just main couple. Makes hard to follow the story. I felt like he had more chemistry with the other women then her. And I felt bad for her. He never seemed to want to be with her. This book just wasn’t for me.
I stopped reading this book. I have not read any other books in the series and when the author threw about 20 characters at me in the first chapter it was too much to keep track of. It might be a fine story but I did not want to try to keep track of everyone.
Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish: A Hammond Brothers Novel: Christmas at Whisky Mountain Lodge Book 1I begins the series by Liz Isaacson. It takes place in the Whisky Mountain Lodge own by the Whittakers. They had lived in the sprawling house; but not since they had renovated it to accommodate guests. They strived for the very best service as possible. They were fully booked 99% of the time they were open. However, they closed for Christmas and the Whittaker gang swarmed in on the lodge so it rang with the hounds of the entire family. The difference this year was that Annie Pruitt was staying at the lodge. Usually, she would go home and come in daily; but since her husband Ryan had died in a helicopter crash, she didn’t like staying home. She loved her cleaning company and her job here at the lodge and the time it gave her with her two girls. Colton Hammond had headed out of Denver with no destination in mind. He just wanted to get away from the humiliation of being stood up at the altar. His brother had stayed at the Whisky Mountain Lodge and told him about it so Colton headed there when the snow headed their way. Luckily, they had one room left, in the basement. Annie showed him to his room only to find it hadn’t been cleaned that day, it was overlooked. Hastily, she cleaned the room so he could stay. She then told him what activities were available. Would anything come of the sparks that flew when they were near each other? How long could he get away with staying here?
Her Cowboy Billionaire Birthday Wish, Christmas At Whiskey Mountain Lodge, A Hammod Brothers Novel Book 1. Again this author takes us back to the events that happen each Christmas at the Whiskey Mountain Lodge with the Whittaker family and friends. As usual, there are new people that are at the event and this year they have new employees where they have all moved out of the lodge and are letting it be used as a luxury lodge up in the canyon. Just as they are celebrating the birthday of Annie, the owner of the maid service they use, she blew out the candles and made a wish. A wish for her a cowboy billionaire like the Whittaker boys. And just at that moment a man arrived at the lodge seeking shelter from the snow storm outside. He met Annie's eyes and it was instantaneous between them. He had a white cowboy hat, boots and jeans. And the author plainly states through the story that they believed the Lord had heard her prayers and they believed it was meant for them to be together. Being at the lodge brought back the faith in God Colton had almost given up on. He felt that he came back to life with Annie. But, what about his visiting with Bree and Elise? Will one of them be better for him?
A great fast moving love story with a happy ending
The end.wish the number of words needed to continue were deceased so I could move on Thank you the end I'm running out of words even fake ones Good bye enjoy enjoy enjoy hoping that I can move on now . but no they still want more words and I'm running out of them so here is the real nonsense. Good luck on making it this far Bye really the end of my words in my breifcase. And still no end in sight. So sorry about the rambling but a person has to do what they can to unlock the door, not that anyone will read or react to my complaint just wish the submit button would light up and allow me yo continue. This comment section is enough to encourage me to stop reading please let me move on a on a on a on a on This is a stupid road block which I have a very hard time understanding why it's here. Release me now. Good bye and no emoji to visualize my frustrations. If I wanted to send a secret message to the enemy I could do it here although I doubt they would even read this far. It feels like I may have enough words to write a book in this area
I came across this book via an ad on Facebook the author had. It sounded really good, so I downloaded my copy here on Amazon. So yes, Liz Isaacson is a new-to-me author.
This book is Annie and Colton’s story and could technically be read as a stand-alone, but I will say that all the other character names being thrown into the mix was super confusing at first. It took me a moment to remember who was who. This is, after all, book 9 in a series (which ends setting things up the next one) so if that isn’t a dealbreaker for you, dive right in.
The book kicks off with everyone celebrating Annie’s 46th birthday. Annie, a mom of 2 grown daughters and a widow for over a decade, is lonely and craving to have someone to grow old with. So, for her birthday wish, she wishes for her very own billionaire cowboy. Thinking it was just a silly wish, little did she know, her world would quickly change.
Colton wanted to escape his reality and so he found his way to the lodge that very same night, hoping to have a place to stay. Little did he know too.
This was a sweet and clean romance that very much involved family, faith, and second chances. 4 stars!
I was conflicted about this book. I would rate It at 3.5 stars.
Colton and Annie had an instant attraction when Colton made his appearance for shelter from the winter storm. It had only been 7 weeks since Colton had been left at the altar. Annie seemed a little desperate in wanting to make the relationship what she wanted and when she wanted it.
There was serious instalove going on with Annie and Colton. I felt like they both were rushing into a level of their relationship neither one seemed to be quite ready for at the moment. Her jealousy was concerning. At least, I thought it was, and the way it was resolved was not comforting.
There was a lot going on in this book with a number of people. The Lodge seemed to be a place of friendship, faith, love, and support. There are a number of untold stories there. We are also introduced to Colton's family. Will that be another series?
This was a sweet romance that didn't necessarily follow a smooth path. Ultimately Colton and Annie reach their HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Annie Pruitt is enjoying her birthday party and makes a silly birthday wish. She wants a billionaire cowboy for her birthday. In walks n Colton and her world is rocked.
Colton is running away from his life from a job. He’s tired of and from the humiliation of being stood up at the altar. He finds himself caught in a snowstorm and ends up at Whiskey Mountain Lodge.
The watch is closed for the holidays, but the family that owns it has gathered for their holiday fun and they take Colton in as one of their own. Over time he and Annie find themselves paired up and doing things together as friends. But both are feeling a bit more.
I’m a big fan of Liz Isaacson’s books and it’s been a while since I’ve read one. This one no way disappointed. I love that. Colton and Annie are older… both in their 40s. I love that there are characters from previous books that show up in this one. If you haven’t read the previous books, you won’t be lost, but if you have it, add a bit of depth to the story. It’s just going to catch up with all friends.
I also love that Liz starts other stories within her books to give us a hint of what’s to come. I’m looking forward to reading this entire series.
I love the Whitaker series but gave a 4 star for Annie's character being so jealous that it upset me. Annie is a woman in her late 40's with two grown children, her husband had passed away some time ago. A stranger shows up at the lodge where she works and immediately they have sparks for one another. Every time she see him talk to another single woman at the lodge, she gets mad and pouts like a two year old. After they have been snowed in at the lodge for 6 days she expects him to marry her. He takes off for Colorado to finalize the transfer of the family business to the cousins. Will he decide to stay in Colorado or will they work things out? I received an ARC of this book and I am giving an honest review.
This was a good story. Annie had a business, a cleaning service, that both daughters helped with. She was at the lodge taking care of it, where the Whitaker’s were having their Christmas. All of the brothers were there with their wives and children. Colton Hammonds arrived looking for a room. All reservations were cancelled during the Christmas time. One of the brothers did not want to turn him away because he it was snowing heavily. They asked Annie to put him in the last room on the basement. When she went to the room, it had not been cleaned from the last guest. So Colton and Annie worked together preparing the room. Sparks flew when they accidentally touched. A beginning of a friend to love story. Enjoy.
Annie is celebrating another birthday #46, when everyone encourages her to make a wish, she does, one where she gets her own Billionaire Cowboy! Not five minutes later the most handsome man she has ever seen appears in the lodge asking for a room for the night. He apologizes for interrupting but explains how he had knocked, but, with all the celebration going on, no one probably heard him. Annie is mesmerized and so it seems is Colt 😘 Only everytime Bree or Elise get near him Annie is very unhappy and she doesn't know why or how to stop herself. What happens next with these two will surprise you! So read this great story by Liz Isaacson to find out what happens to them.
What an enjoyable story about Annie and Colton. When wishes come true it is always a good story to read. I enjoyed Christmas with the Whittakers, they certainly made the holidays fun and welcomed everyone into their festivities.
Colton was a man who was left at the alter and had a lot of hurt inside him. He did not want to be with anyone or move on. He just wanted to leave and never return to his job where he was in the spotlight and not a good spotlight.
Annie was a widow with 2 daughters and finally ready to move on with her life. She did not want to be alone any longer but it was not easy in the small town where she lived. The Whittakers were giving her a belated birthday party and she made a wish to find that man.
