Little Worry

Rate this book
Little One is so worried about going to sleep in the dark that…poof! He becomes Little Worry!

In this calming, reassuring story about first feelings, little ones will be able to relate and learn what to do when they feel anxious or worried about the dark. The perfect book for young readers and parents to share, this story proves that sometimes, a mom or dad’s hug is all it takes to ease any worries.

I am about to be real mean to a lot of parents and I don't give a flying flip. If you expect your toddler to deal with their emotions at this young of an age, get the hell over yourselves. Toddlers need their parents. I honestly feel bad for your kids if you think they should just learn to cope with being scared in the dark from what could be considered anxiety. So instead of relying on you like a toddler should you expect them to learn to just deal with it on their own. You people out of your ever loving minds.

I thought this would be more addressing anxiety, but regardless this was simple and would work to teach little ones about worry

The premise of acknowledging a little one's worry a good one, but the execution (both in the attempt to illustrate goosebumps and noises and comfort a worried little one) is lacking.

Cute... But not much happens to really make it engaging.

- board book
- like the topic and that this series addresses emotions at a young age
- however wished child was able to learn from self rather always relying on parent for support (build self-reliance). May be hard to do for a simple board book for kids
- little character hears sound and is spooked. Sound goes away but character is still spooked and looks for mom, who is nearby to give hug
