All the books in the Triple J Ranch are standalone novels set in a small Montana town. While they can be read in any order, you might enjoy starting with Second Chance Ranch, or Finding Love in Montana. Triple J Ranch
What I really liked about this story was that it was about how people find happiness even if they are not looking for it. It is a story about how bad things that happen can be that blessing in disguise and take you down a path you never thought you would go.
Callie is the perfect example of how bad things that turn out to be the best thing for her. Her car breaking down in the middle of nowhere in Montana was not what she planned. She is a strong and independent woman who now has to rely on strangers for a place to stay. What she did not see happening was how much she ended up enjoying the Triple J ranch and the Manning family. But when cattle rustlers come to town, she never expected to be right in the middle of the action. Again bad things but you will have to read the book to see if they also turn out to be good.
The Mannings are a family that you wish you knew, and if you do know a family like them, you are very lucky. I really enjoyed how the brothers all joke and have friendly competition with each other. Mark and Luke are in competition for Callie, which makes her very nervous, she is not staying and doesn’t want to be involved with anyone. But Luke wins out, at least with Mark, but can he win Callie’s heart?
The second book in the series was much better. When scriptures were quoted they fit with the storyline which was full of action, suspense, and romance.
When her car breaks down, Callie ends up at the Triple J Ranch as all rental rooms in town are full due to the Rodeo and Carnival. 2 of the 5 Manning brothers compete for her attention, but Luke is the frontrunner.
Helping the homeless in nearby Bozeman is ongoing from book 1. When incidents occur in town to ranchers, the initial thought is that Big Bart, the gang leader bullying the homeless, is branching out.
Callie's dad is a detective in the New Orleans PD and has included his daughter in cases. She approaches the Sheriff with her thoughts about the ranch issues and a task force of sorts is formed, deputizing the Mannings, Callie, and other local ranchers.
Through it all Luke and Callie explore their feelings and a deep relationship develops. An uplifting and gripping story that I'd give 4.5 stars. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
This was a great story of love and intrigue, between a rancher and some outlaws. A young girl on her way to a rodeo before she goes home ends up stranded on the side of the highway out side of Beacon Hills. She calls for a tow and then ends up on the triple J ranch as all the hotels in town are full up for the weekend. Luke picks her up at the garage as his sister is busy with her wedding planner. Much action takes place over the next few weeks with rustlers and trying to help the homeless. This is my review and mine alone. Thank you for this series it has been great, waiting for the next one. Norma Gorrill
A good clean story full of danger and suspense. Callie decided to travel through a small town in Minnesota to see the rodeo on her way home from a job interview that failed. She did not count on being stranded due to car problems; nor did she count on trying to figure out who the cattle rustlers were that targeted the area ranches. Luke isn’t looking to settle down any time in the nearby future but surely it wouldn’t hurt to flirt with the new girl on the ranch. What happens when the flirting gets serious and the rustlers get bolder?
Clean & Wholesome Cowboy Romance by Jenna Hendricks, J.L. Hendricks
I chose this rting because Jenna Hendricks brought out a clean romance book that kept my attention from the start. I love not having to swipe passed the steamy romantic parts of a book. So, the other reason is because she put God into her books and i just love reading the passages. If you are looking for clean romance without steamy, give her books a try. You won't regret it.
This was a wonderful story. Callie’s car stopped on the way to Beacon Creek. She called for road assistance and they were sending someone from town. Callie was offered a place to stay at the Triple J Ranch, since all rooms filled in town for the Rodeo starting the next day. Luke Manning came to pick her up, from the ranch. Just the beginning of an exciting story. You will enjoy this beautiful story.
Callie was dismayed when her trusty SUV broke down outside of Beacon Creek. She met so many nice people there, including the Manning brothers and their parents. A wonderfully written story of Luke and Callie falling in love and surviving a shootout with cattle rustlers.
Goodness so much going on. Two brothers for a while are trying to get the new girl to notice them. Her car not being able to be fixed as quickly as she thought she wanted. Then throw in people trying to steal farmers cattle and livestock, and you have a very Exciting book.
Thank you for this wonderful story about Callie's car predicament that turned into an exciting adventure. The storyline was fast-moving and exciting and the many characters were great. The Mannings are a terrific family.
This book was thoroughly enjoyable, with laughter, prayer and some suspense I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. A sweet, clean romance with great characters and a good plot.
Cali , on her way back from an interview out of town . Her car decided to die … the blessing that come from some of the challenges throw her way end up being a blessing in waiting. A sweet clean, romance with a bit of mystery.
I love romance books. One of my favorite are about cowboys and love stories and this did not disappoint in the least. It had suspense and love. The storyline was great.
It’s fun to read about cowboys, especially those who are rough and tumble while at the same time courteous and caring. Triple J cowboys are just that, and this series’ love connections are made more exciting and enjoyable because of it. On to Book 3.
Great story with a lot of action and mystery. I enjoyed the way the author wrote this clean romance. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
