I originally got this book, and 2 others on Jones, for my husband who is a graduate of Jesse H. Jones High School and Jones Business School. He has read them all, and this was the 1st one I picked to read.
One of the things that really bothered me about the writing, was the author's references to wifes as Mrs. Man's Name, but this book was written in the mid 1950's so I attribute that to the age. A couple of other things I noted, after stating that Jones had no children, at one point he mentions a grandchild with no explanation of how he had a grandchild: and when he talks about the religous issue of Al Smith, he never indicates exactly what the religious issue is.
Nevertheless, Jesse H. Jones was a very interesting man and this is an easy to read, interesting book of his life.
