Blossom Baker has watched her sisters find love one by one. And just when she began to wonder when her Prince Charming would show his face, Roman Fields, entered the picture, helping to bring all of her deepest desires to fruition.
*Please note, this is book five of five in an interconnected series. This novel will contain spoilers from previous books.
This was a cute wholesome series! If you’re looking for a palette cleanser after all of the toxicity and stress you read this will do it. My brain must be forever tainted because while it was a good series it’s not necessarily a memorable one! I enjoy my chaotic stories much more than the mild romance!
I will say that Blossom was my second favorite Flower sister and I loved her and Roman’s chemistry!
This story warmed my heart right up. Apart from the romance, the best thing this series has going for it is the sisterhood and the found family aspect. It’s so beautiful and such a great vibe all round.
“”Do me a favor though.”…”Don’t give all of yourself to me just yet. Let me earn you.”
“I wanted to fuck get mine first.”
I really liked Blossom and Roman’s story. It’s wonderful to read about every sister having a successful career and a business together. The way they’ve accepted and loved on Lily and giving her a piece of the pie is beautiful sisterhood. Also i find the men stories just as interesting. Especially with these last few stories. Roman just like rest has simply just got IT. Everyone is accepting, loving and straight forward with each other. Spice of course of the charts. Blossom telling ol girl “It’s time to move on. Roman’s time, love and energy will be occupied for the rest of his life.” had me cracking up.
Asia, you wrote this series so good and you ended it deliciously on a high note with Roman and Blossom. I like the way that Ezra lowkey set them up when he invited Roman knowing that everyone would be there. I like how Roman took the time to learn Blossom's love language and made sure to give it to her at all times. I'm happy for Brandon and Juniper having the next flower baby. I want them to have a girl so bad and I hope by the time we get to Devin and Lily's book that Roman and Blossom will be expecting too. I like Samuel and Aunt Lori together because they both have experienced heartache and losses. I'm going to miss the Flower sisters but I know this isn't the end for them.
What a beautiful Love story. So far Blossom and Roman is my favorite. I liked all the Sisters but it was something about these 2 are a perfect combination
Passion is/was Felt! Blossom: A Passionate Love by Asia Monique is about public relations partner Blossom Baker and investment actuary Roman Fields. Mr. Roman Fields whew I love him 😍. Roman is both affectionate and attentive, discovering Blossom’s love language is easy for him! And he doesn’t want the answers or hints on how to love her, he just pays attention, whew a man! Blossom deserves this. I love Blossom Baker, her heart is so big! She’s so receptive of the love and nurturing Roman provides! Roman and Blossom have endless passion, I mean the pages in this book were sizzling😏 Roman puts it down on her, I mean 🥵🤪. Once again the sisterhood ,brotherhood, the overall sense of family is everything! This might be my favourite yet!!
Okay, this may have been my favorite one..I can’t even put this review into words but just know that Asia gave her all in this book. The flowers sisters were everything!! Their sisterhood and love for each other was perfectly displayed in every book. But there was something refreshing about Blossom and Roman’s story. Their instant connection and fast pace to love was so good. Both were in tuned with themselves and moved at their own pace. Physical touch was Blossom’s love language and I think it was Roman’s as well. I couldn’t get enough of Roman in this one, I was low key hoping these two would have had a baby or eloped. I just didn’t want it to end. 🤣The way that this series tied together was seamless. It was like an ongoing storyline that over each sisters story readers got more questions answered. I truly enjoyed this one and look forward to Lily’s story.
Blossom, baby of the Baker girls, watched all of her sisters find love, and felt lonely. She asked for love to find her. Ask and you shall receive. Meeting Roman was life changing for Blossom. She had never met a man, who was so patient, catered to her needs, and truly wanted to earn her love. Roman, was such a laid back dude. He wasn't looking for anything when he came back to Philly, other than to reconnect with his family. Blossom, blew all that out of the water. It was like she consumed him from their first meeting. Their love was so beautiful! They way that they couldn't stay away from each other, and made sure to play up each other's love languages, was just everything! I hate that the Flower sisters' stories are coming to an end. Great read!
This series overall has been so good, but this storyline was so sizzling sexy, beautiful, and heartfelt. I enjoyed catching up with the sisters and how each relationship is continuing. After reading each sister’s story, I always have a favorite, but “BB” may truly be my favorite. I love everything about her, and her openness to give love a chance again. The family relationships are so important and presented in an endearing manner. I am going to bet that Lily’s story is going to be just as amazing as this series wraps up.
This book marks an end to a wonderful series. Physical touch is an important love language and it was nice to see Blossom get her love after watching her sisters. Roman was everything that she needed and all that she didn’t know. Two souls coming together to learn how to love and let go. I’m excited to see what happens between Lily and Devin good job once again Asia.
The Flower Sisters arw my favorite siblings!!!! They rocked the hell out of the love language they represented. Blossom was awesome!!! Roman was the best and i dont even know how he topped Ezra or Lennox????!!!! Thank you for romantic and passionate love between successful black professional men and women. Black love is EVERYTHING! This is a sweet, sappy, and fire hot love story!!!!
I love all the books in the Flower sisters series, and now I’ve added Roman and Blossoms story to the love list. The way Roman stepped up to the challenge of learning how to love Blossom was more than swoon worthy. He note only saw and heard her, he was able to fill in the parts of her she may not have fully understood were missing. Now i’ll just have patiently wait for Devin and Lily’s story.
Omg this was the true definition of a romance novel. This was the first time I read a whole series from any author an the last book is just as amazing as the first one. Blossom an Roman are so amazing I love them an how they love each other. Asia your books really took people away from reality. I’m so happy you didn’t mention the pandemic in it like all the other authors being doing lately. I really didn’t want to remember that hence why I could disappear in this story. I don’t know how you wrote them so fast an they were so well written and on point. You’re the definition of a true author. The best romance books I’ve ever read. Keep up the great work Asia I can’t wait to read Lily’s book.
Loved the story of Blossom and Roman They were perfect for each other If you haven't read the series yet What are you waiting for Each Flower sister story is great and you Won't be disappointed Can't wait to read Lily and Devin story and would Like to see a story about Lori (hint, hint)
Wow!! This was such a good read. I think Blossom might be my spirit chick. I can relate so much to her. I am so glad she found her forever after. The Flower Sisters are all so different but yet so much alike I love them. I don’t want the series to end. Next up hopefully Ms. Lily
I adore the Flower Sisters and their friends. It was nice to read that Blossom has found the love of her life Roman. I remember them at Lily's graduation party. Roman gets Blossom's love language. As always it was my pleasure 😊 great job Asia.
Blossom and Roman's meeting was cute. The character development was smooth. I like the way Roman and Blossom helped each other deal with their internal issues.
Love the "Flower Sisters" ! I fell more in love with these couples the more I read about them. Roman and Blossom has chemistry from the start. I loved their interactions with each other and their families. These two are one of my favorite couples! They were beautiful together and I know they will have a baby announcement soon! Can't wait for Lily and Devin! 🙂🙂
The instant attraction between Blossom and Roman was beautiful. I loved the dynamic between the two of them. This author never disappoints this book was a must read!!! I can't wait for Lily's story !!!!
I think this is my favorite book in the series. I loved their connection. I loved how they interacted with each other . The love between them could be felt the pages.
Series: 4.5⭐️ Spice: 3-4🌶️ Format: Audio I enjoyed the series. I’ll always be here for Black women being loved on loudly. ✨Close Knit Family (5 Sisters) ✨Black Love ✨Low Drama ✨Guaranteed HEAs
Blossom blossomed in this tale. She showed us why she was so passionate about finding her personal love language guru. She knew her needs and ultimate desire to have a mate who understood her quirky side, and her professional lifestyle. Family is everything to the Baker women, and a match for them would include five other women in tow. Roman had the perfect name to symbolize the empire of ancient times, but a modern version depicting strength, wisdom, and a solid spirit. His coat of armour surrounded her fragrant aura to build their passionate love language. Another addition to the flower series was a joyous treat!
I loved Roman and Blossom. Given that Roman was Ezra's cousin, made me love him even more.
Blossom seemed to be a bit rambunctious, yet loving and sweet too. Being the baby of the Flower sisters, she was deemed spoiled, yet I only saw her giving heart in this series. She was fiercely protected by not only her sisters and close friends, yet their men too. The way Lennox keeps stepping up as the "big brother" when new men come after the sisters is so endearing. He loves each of these women, which only magnifies his love for the oldest sister, his wife Magnolia. I love that Blossom is so open to how she's feeling and works through it, rather than sit and let it get her down or go to a deep dark place. She's definitely a go getter and I just loved her all around great spirit. The way she took to Roman and he to her, was electric. I love these two together. I hope they get married sooner rather than later.
Roman Fields is an intricately intelligent man. His job is one many don't know about or understand, yet he's worked hard and it's paid off. Him moving back to Philly to be with his family and starting a new job is all well and good, yet the unexpected way he falls for Blossom is a wonderful gift to him. I love that he picked up on her love language without her having to tell him; taking the time to read up on them was such a swoon worthy thing to do. I love how he catered to Blossom, wanting to earn her heart and trust. These two are truly a match and I'm glad Ezra somewhat put the wheel in motion for them to meet.
I love that we get an update on Aunt Lori. She deserves love and I hope Uncle Samuel gives her that and much more.
I truly don't want this series to end. I've grown to love all these characters and I just want more and more. I'm going to pause and go read about all the friends who are so intricately woven into these sisters lives. Then, it's on to the last sister, Ms. Lily and Devin. That should be interesting.
“Blossom: A Passionate Love” by Asia Monique is an enthralling romance novel that delves into the complexities of love, vulnerability, and trust. The story revolves around Blossom, the youngest African American partner at a public relations firm at just 26. She’s portrayed as a feisty and independent character, which adds depth to her personality.
The plot thickens with a twist of fate when Blossom’s brother-in-law, Ezra, secretly sets her up with his cousin, Roman. Roman, a successful financial actuary, is characterized as both poised and utterly smitten with Blossom. Their chemistry is palpable, and the author does a fantastic job of building their relationship in a way that feels both real and enchanting.
However, Blossom’s reluctance to fall too quickly adds an intriguing layer to the story. Her past experiences have made her cautious, creating a tension that keeps the reader engaged. Roman’s approach to this, urging Blossom to make him earn her love, adds a refreshing dynamic to their romance. This narrative choice not only highlights the importance of mutual effort in a relationship but also empowers Blossom as a character.
The novel balances sweet and sexy elements masterfully, ensuring that the romance doesn’t overpower the individual growth of the characters. The writing style is fluid, making the reader feel deeply connected to both Blossom and Roman’s journey.
I really enjoyed the love made in this book and the series as a whole. Love how whatever drama is added is kept to a minimum & is solved rather quickly and we’re back to the couple falling in love.
*I* personally don’t always need to see couples constantly “fighting against all odds” until the last few chapters, to know that what they have is true love. I am NOT saying that there’s anything wrong with those stories because I read & enjoy them just as much. However, I can appreciate a journey to live where the couples DO know what they want, go after it, & accept it for what it is.
That’s what Asia Monique accomplishes with her stories. And I here for it all!
I gave this story 4 stars instead of 5, because in the series, I’ve noticed the tenses “time-jumping” between past and present, and at times in the same sentence. It doesn’t completely ruin the story, but, for me, it threw me off. So, I feel it’s worth mentioning.
***Spoiler*** I listened to Flower Sisters Book #5 "Blossom" by Asia Monique, Narrated by Mari and Winston James via Audiobook. I've previously read #1, #2, #3 and #4. I love that the books are interconnected and keep providing updates on previous Sister's relationships. So if you are going to read the Flower Sister books, please read in order.
Blossom Baker and Roman Fields love story is so cute. When they first met, Blossom was the only sister, that wanted a relationship, that was single and kept dating losers. Roman had just moved back to town and wasn't looking to fall in love. Welp when they met, they just connected. I loved how they worked in the same office. This brought them together faster.
I loved how free Roman was and how he didn't care and wanted Blossom to answer his phone. Poor Candace was so shocked by Blossom's response, I wish I could have seen Candace face. I loved how open and honest Blossom and Roman were. Open communication is the foundation of any relationship.
