A sentimental little firekin enlists the help of its time-manipulating onyx faery friend to collect a few assorted knick-knacks to create a gift for its new human friends, Devin and Jacaranda.
A Gift of Faeries and Firekin is a teeny tiny little short story that forms part of The Keepers series, so far consisting of Soul Keeper and Raven Caller. Two books I have really enjoyed.
Following Puffy and Tesmarie as they fly through the market in the city searching for items to create a gift to give Devin, this was PURE wholesome goodness. Short, fun, and sweet. Though it's not an insightful boost of knowledge when it comes to any backstory or character development, It's a feel good story that will lift your spirits.
A short little snippet following Puffy and Tesmarie as they create a gift for Devin and Jacaranda. So pure and wholesome that warmed my stone cold heart with blubbering emotions.
This is a short, wholesome, little short story that is an interlude between books 1-2 of the Keepers series. Definitely not required reading but so worth the 10 minutes of time it took me to read. Especially if you're a fan of Puffy and Tesmarie (and I mean...how could you not be).
Oh my heart 😭💖 this little story was so pure and wholesome. Tes and Puffy are absolute sweethearts. Gah! What a wonderful tiny found family moment, that actually made me tear up a couple of times.
This is just a sweet, heartwarming short story, most probably taking place shortly after the end of Soulkeeper. There's little else to say about it, but it is nice that Puffy is the one who comes up with the idea and does a good part of the work, displaying some more of his abilities and personality, since in the book he was almost discarded as an active character after being brought to Devin's home. On the other hand, while not doing so is understandable, especially from Puffy's point of view, something could have been added for Tommy and Adria as well.
A delightful story of family. Crksslff, the firekin, needs Tesmarie's, the faerie's, help to collect the materials to make a gift for their human friends, Devin and Jacaranda. They gather the materials, but along the way, they interact a wee bit with the world outside their home. Crksslff, nicknamed Fluffy by Tesmarie, charms and calms a child during their adventure. Well written with good values. Well worth the small amount of time it takes to read.
Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Great world building. Inspirational. Page-turner. Unpredictable. Whimsical. Wonderful characters.
This was such a cute and wholesome short story, and I loved that it featured my favorite character, Puffy!!
This showed Puffy employing the help of Tesmarie to make a gift for Devin and Jacaranda to show how much he appreciates and cares for them. It is not fundamental to the story, but it is adorable and made me smile. Puffy is the sweetest, and I love him all the more :)
I truly adored this story. The characters created in this story are absolutely lovable. You can't help but adore them. And the storyline is so different from other stories of fae. It's such an interesting take on the face universe and I absolutely enjoyed it.
This cute story was so wholesome, it left me with a warm feeling. As always I was sceptic at first, however reading it and especially reaching the end for the most adorable interaction made it worth reading. (Also easy to read and won’t take much of your time)
This little short story was so cute and wholesome, the ending had me tearing up. Especially since I read this after finishing the trilogy, it had me so emotional. There’s a reason why Tesmarie and Puffy are apart of my top 3 favorite characters.
What a great little short. Puffy is one of my favourite characters from this trilogy and this short made me love him all the more. What he did for his human friends was really nice.
This was such a cute little story. I always love when authors take the time to tell you about what your favourite heroes' unusual companions get up to when they aren't around.
