An entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series based in an extraordinary magical world

Out there in our world hidden away from humans by magic or towns and cities of supernatural beings and creatures. Alethea or Ally has her friends collar is a witch who is in the Pacific Northwest in a town called Mount Rainier. A supernatural town where she grew up in for a long time worked a minimum wage job collecting plants for a company to create potions. She did not want to fit into what her world deems is proper for a witch. She stumbled upon a knack for solving mysteries. She eventually turned that into a business which in our world is been around for a while. In her world she’s the only one. A private investigator. She gets off to a slow start but eventually by word-of-mouth and reputation. Many supernatural‘s are contacting her for help. She helps the police in her town solve crimes as well as in other cities on occasion. Follow along as her and her friends live life find mysteries and solve them. Keep an eye out for her crazy grandmother. And you’ll enjoy her nutty familiar who is a fainting goat. A great cast of characters and a very entertaining storyline. You will not be disappointed with any of the books written by this author based in this world. She has multiple series in different towns in this world. Check them all out.

Another dead elf

What’s with the elf deaths? Another elf turns up dead but this time Ali’s best friend is accused of killing him. Twisting through lies and a beauty pageant, Ali has to find the murderer so Willow can go back to being a healer. A fun fast-paced book with fun characters and a hit of mischievous grandma Rosie.

Could be better

A suspect goes from married to single. The main characters Grandmother’s name changes mid sentence and to be frank if it wasn’t on KU I would have given up on this series as I’m fed up of the writers mistakes.

Fun to read!

Fun stories that crossover into other Samantha Silver series. They are never boring and she doesn't bore you with multiple repeats of what you've already read.
