i cant remember when i got this book, but it only took me a few hours to go through it. it was ok..i felt a lot of the time like it was an advertisement to have a wedding at the inn the author owns. he spent way too much time promoting it and his chef.
i also found the only difference between this book and other wedding books ive read for heteros was a chapter on civil unions and the fact that gays have more of a license to non-traditional wedding stuff. um- ok.
i jotted down a couple of the websites he mentioned (one, gayfriendlyinns.com doesn't exist anymore) and he had some cool wedding traditions from other cultures, but thats all i really took from it.
Poorly written and unhelpful. No new information, more of an extended ad for the author's inn (which does indeed sound nice). His main point appears to be that gay and lesbian weddings are just like straight weddings, and you can make yours that way too! No, thanks.
