Sometimes it’s not the clothes that need stitching together.
Omega Keith Jenson is starting to see his years of hard work pay off as the small tailor shop he runs with his best friend and boss flourishes. Everything is going to plan—until he gets a phone call that turns his life upside down. His grandfather had an accident and needs him. Keith doesn’t think twice about dropping everything for the person who once did the same for him. What's a couple of months for the man who gave him everything?
Alpha Ethan Russo is taking a year’s leave from his job teaching at the university to write the novel that has always been a someday plan. It is finally time to just jump in with both feet and do it. The time away will also give him time to help his grandmother build the patio she’s been hinting at since pretty much ever. She is also not so subtly hinting at setting him up with her neighbor’s grandson, but Ethan’s gone on a date she arranged once before and it did not go well. No. He was just going to write his book, build her patio, and leave her matchmaking skills for somebody else.
Ethan is drawn to Keith at first sight, but the omega keeps him at arm's length, even with his meddling grandmother being her persuasive self. And then one night something changes and Keith lets him in. Ethan sees what they could have together for the first time and he loves it...if only they didn’t have an expiration date.
Blind Date for Father’s Day is a super sweet with knotty heat M/M Mpreg romance featuring an omega who’s focused on his grandfather’s health and is not looking for love—or so he tries to convince himself, an alpha who follows his dreams and discovers so much more, a persistent grandmother, a parrot with, shall we say, a unique vocabulary, an addictive shifter soap opera, and an adorable baby. If you love your alphas hawt, your omegas determined, and your mpreg with heart, you will love this new addition to the popular Love at Blind Date series by the cowriting team, Lorelei M. Hart and Colbie Dunbar.
Lorelei M. Hart is the cowriting team of USA Today Bestselling Authors Kate Richards and Ever Coming. Friends for years, the duo decided to come together and write one of their favorite guilty pleasures: Mpreg.
Have you ever been set up by your own grandmother that doesn't accept a “no" for answer? Taking into account the last one was a disaster how should you react to the new one? The fact the partner is the neighbour you're drooling over should be a good thing right? Add to the mix a parrot you love dearly but has a colourful language, a “grandpa” with health issues, and the said grandmother that's quirky and an uncertain future with the omega is all that a recipe for disaster and heartbreak or the key to happiness? Ethan and Keith are an adorable couple and the attraction between them is instantaneous but are apprehensive at beginning to explore it because they have their lives set in different places. But fate has a way of arranging things and a show you're secret fan off, your writing talent, encouraging from your love interest, a surprise baby, and the boss of said lover who encourage your relation is working on your favour so your happiness is guaranteed. It was an amazing story with funny moments and the right dose of emotion that makes you read it until the end smiling and being happy for them. Can't wait for the next one.
This was my favorite of this series. It was really sweet and even though the guys hook-up kind of fast it was more of a slow burn.
TAGS -- Holiday/Father's Day -- nonshifter mpreg -- quick easy read -- no drama -- not really a blind date -- really sweet -- loved the MCs... Kevin & Ethan -- read in one sitting
I really loved reading this story in the series. Ethan and Keith's chemistry was on point. Both had humorous natures and it made reading fun and entertaining. I loved the grandparents they added the extra laughs to the book. Now there was some bittersweet and sad moments. You are able to really feel what Keith is going through being a caregiver to his elderly grandfather. It put a lot of realness to the story that I really appreciate when reading these fantasy books. I really loved the ending and highly anticipating the next book in the series.

so sweet and cute.. these two authors make me smile by themselves.. throw them together and its even more fun. it was adorable.. made me smile and happy.. and these two characters made me happy. very good
This story was a light, fun read. Keith's grandfather fell and broke his hip. Keith drives out to care for his grandfather whole he recuperates. Ethan is taking a year off from teaching at a college to write a book and also help his grandmother with some renovations. Keith grandpa live right across from Ethans grandma, which is how they meet. Ethan grandma interferes a bit to get them together. The good points- its a good story. I like both the main characters and the secondary characters. (Including the parrot) :p. The not necessarily bad points per se - i just read this book in the series so I'm not sure if it was talked about in another book but I had to read a fair ways through the book to find out that Keith was a tailor and that was the particular shop that booked 3 weddings as stated in the beginning..I think more detail was needed in the beginning of the book as to who was who. Keith, his boss, coworkers. To me they were just names. I don't recall reading any character descriptions. What did Keith or Ethan look like? Maybe there was brief eye color mentioned? I remember each saying the other was hot but thats not a detailed description. Also I think it should've been expanded as to why Keith thought that as Ethan was a college professor, writing a book , why would he be good at writing episodes for a soap opera? To me, those are two totally different ways of writing. Anyhow like I said, not bad but just my observations.
I did receive this in an ARC and I believe I gave it an unbiased review.
Matchmaking grandparents in full on mode. What could go wrong?
I love this world. The characters come alive, pulling you into their lives. It is utterly charming. This book is about family, taking risks, and that love has no age limit. Oh, and a foul- mouthed parrot and an addictive soap opera. What's not to love! Ethan has taken a year's sabbatical to write a novel. He spends more time helping Gran than writing. Keith leaves his tailoring job to care for his Grandpa after a broken hip lays him low. Getting involved with Ethan wasn't supposed to happen. But love finds a way. Turns out Gran & Gramps are more than just friends and neighbors. Their favorite soap opens a opportunity for Ethan, both in his writing and with Floyd, his foul- mouthed parrot. Keith has an opportunity as well. It all comes together in a rush. This is a feel- good book. I read it in one sitting. HEA is assured. Yes, there are steamy scenes and mpreg. Very low angst, no cliffhanger. I loved this book! This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
Another lovely entry in this delightful series. Keith and Ethan are so perfect for each other on multiple levels but their timing seems to be against them. Will they manage to navigate the course of true love? For that you'll have to read for yourself, I guarantee you won't disappointed in their journey and the familial interference . . .I mean familial help😉😉.
Having both characters aiding and caring for a grandparent is a huge plus for me. I've read some amazing grandparents before but to see both MCs so close to their's is an extra bonus. Back in 1991 I became my grandmother's caregiver after she had a massive heart attack so to see that kind of generational connection in a book is always something I tend to aim towards a higher levle of standards and Hart & Dunbar have captured that role and emotions perfectly. A special kudos to the authors on that point.
Blind Date for Father's Day is a true gem, it will make you laugh, smile, and for those who's grandparents are no longer here you will find yourself reliving many happy memories. I look forward to reading the other two entries in Lorelei M Hart & Colbie Dunbar's Love at Blind Dates series.

Keith, an omega, is a tailor who takes off from work to take care of his grandfather who broke his hip. Ethan, an alpha, has taken a year off work to write a novel. He is staying in his grandmother’s rental house. They notice each other while Ethan is working on his grandmother’s property. Keith’s grandfather lives across the street from Ethan’s matchmaking grandmother. Keith doesn’t want a relationship, but Ethan is irresistible. They meet at an arranged luncheon by his grandmother. Read to find out how these two proceed with their lives until Father’s Day.
Blind Date for Father's Day is Book 4 in the Love at Blind Date series. I love this book and this series just keeps getting better. This book was a nice escape from all the crazy that's going in the world right now. Ethan and Keith are so sweet together. I laughed so much and Floyd is the best. What started out as Keith, an omega, helping out his Grandpa and Ethan, an alpha, helping out his Gran turned into so much more thanks in part to Gran stepping in and giving those two a little nudge. Sometimes things just work out like they're supposed to. This is a sweet, fun, mpreg story and I highly recommend it.

Keith likes his job as a tailor in the city, but when his grandfather needs him he's quick to drop everything for family. Ethan has always wanted to write a novel, and a year away from his job as a professor is the perfect opportunity to work on his book. While his grandmother's matchmaking has been more of a miss in the past, her newest attempt has Ethan willing to give it another chance. I adored Floyd, the parrot, he was absolutely hilarious. Even with the outside issues (mostly Keith's grandfather and his health issues), these two were really sweet together.
Blind Date for Father’s Day by Colbie Dunbar and Lorelei M Hart is the fourth book in the Love at Blind Date series. This is a fun and sweet mpreg romance. Keith and Ethan are great characters surrounded by funny and loving secondary characters. I love the connections and interactions between the characters. Perfect quick, easy and adorable love story to bring a smile to our day.
Such a sweet and heartwarming story. The way the story reads it's almost like you are becoming friends with the characters. I just love mpreg stories. It is an easy read which I love during this time of covid-19 it's just nice heartwarming to read that doesn't have any crisis within the story

Keith comes back to his home town to help his grandfather after he broke his hip. Ethan take a year off from his teaching job to write the novel he wanted to write. He also is helping his grand mother around her house. Keith and Ethan meet and are attracted to each other but know they both have to go back to their real lives. I really enjoyed this book.
Ethan is such a great Alpha! I like it when the Alphas have slight imperfections and nervousness. It makes them endearing. I was glad Keith decided to open up his heart even with the distance and add a hilarious bird and a couple wise and funny grandparents and you have a great story! Can’t wait for more!
This is a really sweet mpreg book following Keith and Ethan who are set up by Ethan’s grandma but Keith says he doesn’t have time. I enjoyed that they are drawn to each other even more so when something unplanned happen and they have work out how to stay in town.
I love these holiday books. The characters are true soulmates. I laughed from beginning to end. Floyd is the best pet I’ve ever read in a book. I would love to read more about the shenanigans of this wonderful couple and grandparents.
This was a fun sweet father’s day story. Loved the romance adventure and the characters and it’s always special when you get a cute baby girl at the end a sweet amazing romance.
I loved that there was hardly any angst. Best part was the potty mouth parrot, he was hilarious. I definitely won’t spoil it but this book brought in new term to loving thy neighbor!!
