Thistle Cove #1-4

Thistle Cove

Rate this book
Small towns carry dark secrets.

It took me until my senior year of high school to discover exactly how dark.

Three years have passed since a vicious prank tore apart my group of friends.

Three years since Finn Holloway, football star and boy next door, broke my heart by choosing my best friend over me.

Three years since Ezra Baxter turned to crime; selling drugs and being chased by the law.

Three years since Ozzy Drake became isolated and lost.

In those three years they’ve changed; they’re bigger, handsomer, and definitely sexier.

When the secrets of Thistle Cove start to unravel, revealing a dark twisted world of the taboo; arranged relationships filled with sugar daddies, sugar babies, sex, power, money and control. I’m instantly sucked in, wanting to know more. Wanting to know why.

The biggest question is what lines am I willing to cross to uncover the truth and will the boys come with me?

Enjoyed until reverse harem situation. SPOILERS

Didn't know I was reading a reverse harem initially. It took away from the story, especially for all of the boys to agree. Really! Smh! Then to want to display this weird situation to the entire town. Hated it.

High school students and yeah like them all fudge them all, love them all but be in a relationship with all three and be in supposedly love and all three to give up all others for one person. None of the girls would accept a guy saying I want all three of these women. So why the double standard. Write a harem. I dare any of these reverse harem authors to effectively write one guy and multiple girl scenerio and make it work.

Sick of these lovestruck males who become irrelevant once they all decide to be a 1 woman man and share their girl so effortlessly.

Are they that broken? Keep your list behind closed doors. As the boys just look like fools and idiots to family and friends. I get not caring what people think. What truly would a man think of himself when he agree to such a arrangement?

Therefore, if it wasn't this mushy love all 3 immersed in the story, I would have given it 5 stars. Love all three, fine with that but the be in a relationship with all and need to let everyone know. Irked this reader. So irritated by that that I started to skip parts when the males started the "she is so beautiful, I love her so much blah blah blah." They look like fools to me.

Really girl choose one and dudes get some self respect. Have a open relationship but come on.

Finished Thristle Cove…wow Rose was really a piece of work but seems like she might have met her match…Kenley was smart I liked her because no matter what she knows there’s more to what happened to Rose and even though she could say to hell with her after what Rose did to her she doesn’t…fin idk about him yet Ezra now he’s interesting I want to know more about him and Ozzy oh bless his heart he’s adorable but in a sexy kind of geeky way…I wasn’t a fan of the book at first it took me a while to really dig in and I’m glad I did because it really was a good read and damn it Angel you managed to draw me into this world too lol now starting “Games We Play”

Not good..

I couldn't get into this book . It lacked the emotions and intensity as the Devil May Care book. That book was hot and well executed. This book was boring, with a desperate h hang up on a guy after 3 years later, weak minded, and lots of telling with continuous dialogues. It felt too narrative reading and no passions. Wanted to try this book because of how great the other book was. Pass and DNF this one.

It was mostly okay but I really didn’t like Kenley. She was a 17 yr old who always thought she knew how to solve everything while also being naive to the dangers of the world even when others tried to warn her. Liked the guys well enough even though they were whipped and never got mad at her when she would lie and put herself in danger.

Well written, kept me engaged

Thistle Cove Complete Series (#1-4) by Angel Lawson: 5 stars
h/HHH: Kenley/Finn/Ozzie/Ezra.
This story is twisty, angsty, and well written with a good pace. It has threats, a murder mystery, manipulations, sexual predators/under age sugar babies, and lots of secrets... Also a love story with steamy chemistry, and a very nice wrap up.

yikes

I DNF’d this so fast. Kenley was absolutely obsessed with her former best friend that it was embarrassing to read. It made her seem so pathetic and I couldn’t read multiple books about it. Also her other obsession, Finn? I couldn’t see her have feelings for anyone else just as I didn’t see him wanting to be with her. Pass.

Love the mystery!

Like ed this, I can't believe it took me so long to read it. Somethings I thought I had figured out but nope, the twists and turns kept me on my toes. Live Kindly and her three boys!

Can't review because I DNF'd this series before I finished the first book. The writing is okay, but the characters are one-dimensional, and the mystery was boring. I didn't care if they all died since they didn't seem to have a life anyhow.

This series is amazing. What starts out as a small mystery grows and grows until all is revealed. Kenley is like a dog with a bone, determined to get all the answers. She and her guys are perfect for one another. If you like mystery and intrigue, then this is the series for you.

Great book

This is definitely riverdale, Nancy drew vibes written all over it. I literally stayed up all night reading and unraveling this mystery. Loved it.

DNF at 40%. No angst. For a more immature audience. Not for me. Others will likely enjoy.

With great characters and a fast paced storyline, I was kept entertained all the way through! I found the lack of editing distracting at times, but apart from that I loved it.

Loved it!

Angel Lawson never fails to deliver. This series has everything: mystery, romance, steam, great character development, tons of feelings. The plot unfolds at a great pace and I did not see some of the mystery reveals at all. My only complaint is that it ended and I will miss the characters. I loved the Sparrowood Academy crossovers too.
