Over the course of one hot summer, three lifeguard brothers meet the loves of their lives in the warmth of the Long Beach sun. But a happily ever after worth fighting for never comes easy. This bundle includes three full length stories that were originally released separately.
Mouth to Mouth
Ex-convict Rory Prince knows he should stay away from fresh-faced college student, Olive Cunningham. If only she would stop almost getting herself killed...and if only he could resist saving the adorable book nerd over and over again.
Heat Stroke
Jamie Prince has nothing in common with Marcus "Diesel" O'Shaughnessy and he's done dealing with confused straight guys. But the deeper their unlikely friendship grows, the less confused Marcus becomes. In time to convince Jamie he's for real?
Sink or Swim
Andrew Prince has been in love with Jiya Dalal since they were children, but a family secret has prevented him from pursuing the girl of his dreams. When Jiya decides to stop waiting and puts herself on the dating scene, however, all bets are off and Andrew will race to fix the past before Jiya is lost to him forever.
New York Times Bestselling author Tessa Bailey can solve all problems except for her own, so she focuses those efforts on stubborn, fictional blue collar men and loyal, lovable heroines. She lives on Long Island avoiding the sun and social interactions, then wonders why no one has called. Dubbed the “Michelangelo of dirty talk,” by Entertainment Weekly, Tessa writes with spice, spirit, swoon and a guaranteed happily ever after. I needed something lighter in tone between some heavier books. Tessa Bailey's 3 book bundle featuring brothers Andrew, Jamie, and Rory Prince and how they get their HEAs was perfect for my needs. Bailey writes great characters with just enough angst to keep it interesting. I truly enjoyed these, but there were some heavier plot points that were underdeveloped. I also didn't fully buy into the timeline of each of the relationships. Cute and spicy but would have been amazing with just a little more depth.
CW: abandonment, age gap, alcohol consumption, child abuse, domestic abuse, hate crime, jail (mentioned/non-graphic), homophobia, murder, pregnancy (brief), sexual content, toxic relationship
I’m a big fan of Tessa Bailey’s work, even if it doesn’t quite hit for me. This boxset of Beach Kingdom—Mouth to Mouth, Heat Stroke, and Sink or Swim—was a light, steamy, romantic romp, and even though I want to rate it five stars, I can’t. Mainly due two reasons—Rory and Andrew respectively. Maybe three if you include Jamie and Marcus’s story. In Mouth to Mouth, our titular male lead is ex-con Rory, the youngest Prince brother who believes he deserves all the dirty looks and whispers over the assault that led to his arrest. In between steamy scenes and him being a jealous, possessive asshole, he’s busy whipping himself and wallowing in his self pity. When truth comes to light, we find out his stint in jail/prison was due to him beating a man unconscious—A man Jamie had slept with and then turned around with four of his friends and held Jamie under the ocean. Five drunk men against one man. The constant self-flagellation got really old and really tired with Rory’s “woe is me, I’m a MONSTER” when in reality he was defending his brother. Those men could’ve killed Jamie easily, and Rory never seems to see it that way, he just talks about how his soul is tarnished and he’s a bad man because he beat someone unconscious. Anyone with half a brain would understand that Jamie’s life was in danger, and it felt really stupid to have the door hop of Olive’s apartment give him a nasty look. Jamie was victim of a HATE CRIME, Rory saved him, and Rory’s the evil person? And this self-hatred “I’m a bad man” attitude is cranked to the extreme in book three, Sink or Swim. This is the book that made me want to pull my hair out because of Andrew’s pitiful self-whipping and his back and forth with Jiya. I felt so bad for her, because he had eighteen years to make his move but he didn’t until she started to date other people. I agreed with Jiya’s mother that Jiya put her life on hold for a man who kept her on tether hooks for years and only got his ass into gear when she started to move on. Over and over, his internal dialogue was full of self hate and desire for her and he makes it clear he wants her…but not enough to actually peruse her. But enough to fuck with her head and shit. Get some fucking self control, man, and stop LEADING HER ON. Andrew’s constant iteration that she deserved better than him while flirting with her and taking her virginity made me want to punch him. I wanted Jiya to scream at him and cuss him out and give him hell and make him grovel for all the bullshit he gives her when she tries to move on. Like a toxic ex that does all this awful shit and then does one nice thing to make you think he’s changed. But why, you ask, does he not deserve her? Drumroll, folks! Because he killed his monstrously abusive father in self-defense to keep him from killing his mom! That’s—that’s the big reason he won’t let her go or actively date her? Because he protected his mom? And he never confided in someone who was supposed to be his best friend?? She knew their dad was abusive to high hell, knew he vanished one day, but Andrew never tells her about Handler or that night or anything. Nevermind how often Rory and Andrew felt like it was their fault it happened, even though they were abused CHILDREN. I feel like this wasn’t talked about enough or unpacked. The boys grew up in a horribly abusive household, but they blame themselves for not protecting their mother against their father’s abuse. As children. I wish we’d seen their mother post-abuse. But also kind of fuck this woman for worrying so much over damn appearances rather than her children’s safety. It’s not like it’s a secret she’s being beat, considering the entire neighborhood can hear the screams and the cops are constantly being called, but sure, appearances matter the most. So with all that being said—four-point-five stars on what otherwise would’ve been a five star read if it hadn’t been for Rory and Andrew’s self hatred and Andrew’s infuriating selfishishness towards Jiya.

This was an awesome box set for an awesome price in the Kindle store if yall are thinking of reading this series/exploring TB's backlist.
Mouth to Mouth:
This was pretty hot and sweet (as usual) and there were no surprises but it was a pretty standard TB book.
*not to say that this was bad or felt generic but this was exactly in her lane
Heat Stroke: The mutual pining and angst that went into this 😩 I'm still not over this couple
Sink or Swim:
This was honestly wild af from start to finish. I kept wanting to bonk Andrew because he was SO stubborn about EVERYTHING Jiya was a queen and he ended up being a pussy pleaser so 🥵
Loved the epilogue and honestly wish it had been longer and was more individualized for each couple but still absolutely loved it
The Prince Brothers stole my heart. I don't even think I could pick a favorite. This is three great stories about how they overcome many obstacles to find love. The events of the books all take place over one summer. I loved every minute of this series.
I happened on the books by the Prince brothers by chance, and I fell in love with all 3 of them. The brothers sexy, loyal and love so deeply it’s infectious. Can’t wait to read my next Tessa favorite.
Flew through these three books. Really enjoyed that it was three brothers at the centre of them, and I’m always cheering for a happily ever after. Also appreciated that while the relationships moved fast in the books the prologues offered a more realistic timeline.
Really loved these trio of books. Tessa baileys writing is brilliant and the way she writes about love and relationships, whoever’s their Between is brilliant.
My favourite is heat stroke with Jamie and Marcus. I just love Marcus’ character.
This series is so underrated. I enjoyed these stories so much. Each time I got into a book slump I picked up the next book and it was like magic.. so much spice, heart, and humor. The perfect length. Everyone needs to read heatstroke. I HAVE NEVER LOVEF A STORY MORE! Immediately downloading my next TB book to have in handy in between reads.
