Nostradamus, Madame Blavatsky and Uri Geller are also included and their histories profiled, with a revealing look at how their work has been credited - or discredited
The book is very uneven in its pace. Some psychics are described based mainly of their lives, some others of their abilities. The amount of information and details put into each person is uneven, almost as if the author did not know what they want to achieve with this book. Regardless of Francine claiming they want to display profiles of different people in an unbiased manner, with some more controversial figures such as Crowley or Rasputin, there is still a lot of focus on controversy and empathizing their negative traits in the way their story is described. There is little information on prophecies and predictions selected figures have made, which will leave a lot of people yearning for more and being forced to seek information on their own about some figures. There is no doubt author has knowledge about the topic and did a lot of research on the selected figures. It just feels like the book was rushed and not really taught through. It can be a good position for people with little to no knowledge about psychics. It starts a journey that you will have to continue with other books. People who are already having some knowledge about psychics will most likely not find anything new in it.
