Gareth Southwell is a writer, illustrator and philosopher who lives in South Wales in the UK. He has a PhD in death, which has been read by exactly four people (including himself). His first novel MUNKi is just a thinly fictionalised version of this, with most of the boring bits taken out and replaced with robots and people swearing in Welsh. Sign up to his monthly email list for news, views, and free stories from the MUNKi universe. Great intro for a total beginner like me. I flagged pages as I went to read books that go more in depth on topics I'm interested in. I think sometimes the bite sizedness was limiting, but that's kind of the point. Sometimes I'd finish a page and have no idea what the main idea of that particular philosophical movement was actually saying, but I got enough of an idea to want to study further. It also put all of recorded human history's philosophy in context because of how condensed it was, which was super cool.
Este libro me gustó porque para uno que le gusta la filosofía pero tiene algunos huecos, hace un recorrido de los conceptos más importantes en la historia de la filosofía para que tú luego ahondes en los conceptos que más te interesan
