If you’re looking for a family friendly resource to get your kids learning about the Bible and having fun at the same time, this is it!
The book has several Bible stories to choose from:
The Garden of Eden
Noah’s ark
Baby Moses
Ruth and Boaz
David and Goliath
King Solomon
Jonah and the Very Big Fish
Daniel in the Lions Den
Each of these stories has scripture and a brief summary of the Biblical text. In addition to the Scripture is a seek-and-find that is sure to keep kids and parents searching together while talking about the Bible stories. Each page contains at least 50 objects to count, which helps with math skills as well as attention to detail and memorization.
As a guy who loves bonuses and special features in books, I was excited to see some extra goodies tucked into the first page. This is a book full of surprises and fun finds for our children, and it is especially good for younger children who may not be able to focus very well on longer Bible stories.
I recommend Seek and Find Old Testament Stories to families with young children who want to get them involved in Bible time and family worship. It’s a great starting point, and is tied directly to the biblical text for those who want to use it in family devotional time.

A collection of succinct Bible story retellings with seek and find page spreads to illustrate them. Each spread contains the Bible passage where the story can be found, a 1 paragraph summary of the story, a key lesson from the story, and a list of things to find numbering in 1s to 10s. Further things to find are listed in the beginning of the book. The Bible stories included in this collection are: Creation, Noah's ark, baby Moses, Ruth & Boaz, David & Goliath, Solomon's wisdom, Jonah & the fish, and Daniel in the lion's den.
Kids will love the seek and find elements to the story and the cute illustration style. I appreciate the authenticity the illustrator includes in the historical settings, cultures, ecosystems, and buildings. And I'm also impressed by the concise but extremely well done summaries of each Bible story. Kids may think it is just a fun seek and find book, but there's layers of richness included that they may not appreciate but adults will. The seek and find elements are medium level, and should be appropriate for toddlers through Kindergartners.

My whole family loves this book. I like how each story is summarized in a way that is simple for kids, but it also includes the scripture reference so you can expand on it. The illustrations are colorful & engaging. My kids love the seek & find. Our family spends so much time with this book. It is so fun & engaging.

Fantastic seek and find book. Even my two-year-old has a great time looking for things. The only sad part is that there are only eight stories in the book. I do like that it is board book quality but the size of a bigger book. I think it will last a lot longer that way. I do think these are aimed at younger kids.

I LOVE seek and find books! And I love the way the author weaves biblical stories into the pages while searching for items.
Such a creative expression! I have both Old and New Testament versions. Would recommend without hesitation. Great gift for first holy communion or even younger kiddos.

This is a lovely board book that is nice and big and easy to hold. With short Bible stories from the Old Testament, each page is a fun seek and find for little ones to enjoy. The illustrations are adorable and this book is sure to keep young ones busy in a way that is fun!
