I received a free copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving this review.
This is another book in the series centred in a BDSM Club based in Colorado, and it has strong element of mystery in it. I love the characters, the H and the h have a strong connection and their chemistry is really good. All of the characters on the good side are appealing and easy to like. I intend to read the next volume in this series.
I liked Isabelle but Garrett wasn't my favourite. The pace flowed well in some spots but dragged in others. Not a bad book; I just didn't connect with it as much as other books in this series I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
With Bling, this is the third novel in Ivy Nelson’s Diamond Doms series, it continues, this time with Garrett Oliver’s story. The series continues telling the story of Solitaire’s founding board members by telling Garrett Oliver’s story. This novel details the relationship developing between Garret Oliver and the woman he is trading to be a House Submissive for the BDSM club, Solitaire, in which he is a board member. He is training Isabelle Alvarado to be a House submissive as a way for her to earn her membership dues to Solitaire. Three months into the training and they have become quite attracted to one another and even though this was a non-sexual training relationship only, chemistry has developed and they both have developed a deep sexual desire for one another. The story begins with Garrett in his office in Philadelphia worried about a company he bought in Colorado hemorrhaging money left and right and signs papers in a file authorizing the lay-offs of 26 people without looking at the names of those on the lay-off list. Isabelle is at work in Colorado and is called into a meeting where she and 24 other people are laid off, including several other family members. Early her Uncle, a supervisor had been called into an office and he was also laid off. Isabelle is going to meet Garrett at Solitaire later that night where they were going to take their relationship to the next level and have sex together for the first time. Before she got there she found out he was responsible for the lay-offs and a huge fight occurred at the club that was just the beginning of a huge mystery. After some investigation and with Isabelle’s help, The snafu of the lay-offs were straightened out, two people were fired and Garrett & Isabelle proceeded with their relationship. Isabelle was give. Two job offers and she worked both, she got hardly any sleep, but she was happy, meanwhile she started getting threatening notes, her Uncle was badly beaten and the. Her and her family were moved into a safe house. Garrett continued to date her, they continued to fall in love with each other Things started to get more dangerous for Isabelle and her family the more about the mysterious things going on at the warehouse in Colorado were coming to light, Garrett’s older brother came out of hiding and such. Solitaire’s cyber security once again appeared to be hacked and it appeared about to out all of its member’s again. Then the fired supervisor that had been threatening Isabelle ended up dead, more investigating by Garret’s PI, led them to believe that Garrett’s older brother was back into the smuggling business and was behind all of the money losses at the Colorado company. It appeared he might be possibly working with Patrick’s dad Nicholas Sutton but they needed more proof.. Garrett’s brother lured Isabelle to the warehouse, sat her in a chair with a bomb attached to it and was in the parking lot threatening to blow the place up and Isabelle with it, if Garrett didn’t resign and give his brother the company. Garrett’s driver shot and killed Garret’s brother, the security team disarmed the poorly made bomb and the book ended with Garrett and Isabelle together and the Solitaire board members voting to bring in another cyber security expert in as “fresh eyes” to look at the system that board member Lance built, to see if perhaps he might be missing something...until the next novel.
Ivy Nelson has written a 5-star book about a Dom and his Submissive. Garrett is the owner of the Colorado Logistic Fulfilment Center and he has just signed for 26 of the employees to be let go. Isabelle is one of the employees who get let go. As Isabelle is getting ready to leave work, she sees her uncle leaving and she thinks that something is not right. Before she can leave the employees from her department are called into a meeting. In this meeting, they are all told that they are being let go. Isabelle is supposed to meet with Garrett, he Dom at the BDSM club Solitaire. When she is ready to leave home to go to Solitaire, her uncle is watching TV and said something about the man on the news. She asked, "what about the man?" Her uncle tells her that Garrett Oliver is the owner of the Colorado Logistic that fired them that day. When she gets to the club and sees Garrett, she lets her temper out on him. Garrett didn't know that she worked for the company and he tells her that he will fix this and she tells him that she doesn't know if he can. She tells him that she doesn't know why she came to the club and that he makes her sick. This gets her into trouble and she has to be punished for her disrespect to Garrett. Garrett gives another Dom to take care of Isabelle and he steps away from her to give her the space that she requested. The next day Garrett is at the Warehouse and he has called a meeting with the top managers to find out how the employees were chosen to be let go, and what kind of severance package they received. He calls Patrick to ask him if he would go and give Isabelle the phone so he can ask her a question. The question is if she would be willing to help him if needed? Garrett gets Isabelle to come back to work but not what she was doing before. She was his assistant. As they work to find out what happened to the company they work out their problems. Things go great for them until they find out that Isabelle's sister was involved in something to do with the company and she was in jail. Isabelle asked Garrett not to make any deal with her to get her out early, Garrett and Isabelle's family are in California for the family reunion when she gets a call about her sister. She was told that her sister is in the hospital and they need to get back. Isabelle thinks that Garrett has had something to do with her sister getting out of jail after she asked him not to. She tells him that she doesn't want anything more to do with him. Can Isabelle get over her feelings for Garrett and move on with her life? Will Garrett be able to prove that he had nothing to do with the things that happened to her sister and get a second chance with Isabelle? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

A Diamond Dom and house sub build a relationship with tremendous odds against them.
Garrett is a Dom and board member of Solitaire. He is training a house sub, Isabelle, and the more time he spends with her the more intrigued he is by her. At first they only spent weekends together then circumstances changed things. She was laid off by the company she works at which happens to be owned by her Dom. All the members of her family are laid off as well which presents major problems with Isabelle's family since they are heavily in debt due to circumstances not caused by them. After she finds out, she has a meltdown towards Garrett at Solitaire during their weekend they are supposed to spend together. Garrett knows that he needs to fix things plus also realizes that his company needs an overhaul with the management team. He knows what he needs to do and also work on getting in Isabelle's good graces. He doesn't want to lose her. Isabelle's life is a hard one. She shares an apartment with her father, uncle and two nieces she is taking care of since their mother is not around due to some harsh circumstances. After her layoff, she receives help from another Dom at Solitaire with a job. But Garrett brings her back in to the company with a job offer with a new position. Forces beyond Isabelle's power start putting her in danger. Garrett being the Dom that he is starts taking steps to keep her and her family safe. Garrett also reaches out to his extended family, the board members of Solitaire, in finding out why his company Colorado Logistics is losing money. So many things start happening with the company and Isabelle. Solitaire itself is seeing some problems with membership information being leaked to reporters. So the board members need to take steps in finding out where the leak is at. So much intrigue, danger, hot steamy meetings and so much more that make this a page-turner. Hard to put down once you start reading it as well as the other Diamond Doms novels written by Ivy Nelson. A definite must read. You'll love all the characters of Solitaire.
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Garrett has finally found a submissive who he can see as long term/permanent. But no one saw what was in store for them in the future. Isabelle is one that was always giving and helping other people while not taking care of herself. She and some of her family members worked in a fullfillment warehouse. Unbeknown to Garrett and Isabelle is not Garrett owned the company. Somehow, this particular warehouse was not making any money. Infact, it was bleeding money so they had to make layoffs. The employees were to get a healthy severance package but ended up getting screwed by people at the warehouse, not Garrett. This is when the relationship between Garrett and Isabelle starts to unravel. Unknown to either one of them, it is somebody at the warehouse and an outside source out for revenge. A lot happens in this book and it is riveting. I could not put it down until I finished it. As you read the book, you are immersed into the dynamics of the D/s power exchange between Garrett and Isabelle. Eventually, it all comes to light as to who is behind all of this and they are taken care of. I really hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I have and can not wait for the next one to come out.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I loved reading Bling: A Diamond Doms novel because it is such a great and very steamy book about Garrett and Isabelle who are in a D/s relationship. Things get very heated when Isabelle finds out that most of her family has been fired from the warehouse where they all worked and Garrett is the one who owns it. Isabelle and Garrett's relationship between each other is very strained. Isabelle is very independent and doesn't want to rely on someone to help her. Garrett is the type of person to always want to help. But as Garrett tries to rectify what has happened between them, other issues begin to arise and danger the lives of Isabelle and her family. I love Garrett's character because he is always trying to do the right thing for Isabelle even if she doesn't want it. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest opinion. I love it and the series.
Insanely intricate interlocked mystery featuring plenty of intrigue combined with sizzling romance Numerous discrepancies at Garrett’s company resulting in Isabelle and others being laid off, reveals corruption is prevalent. While Garrett works to correct injustices, Isabelle is targeted repeatedly. With very full lives, their time together is at a premium and in jeopardy from an unseen enemy with a diabolical plot. The tentacles of deception reach further, insidiously and deadly. A wonderful book that captures and keeps your attention to the end. and what an end! Outside forces want more, but the bigger picture is just starting to reveal itself as more than a series of coincidences. I seriously want to get to the next book right away, the wait is torture. I need answers!
One incredible read! Garrett Oliver is training Isabelle Alvarado to be his submissive at BDSM club, Solitaire. When the story begins Garrett authorizes layoffs of 26 people without even looking at the names on the list, because his company is losing money. Isabelle is meeting him at the club later that night and before she goes she finds out about the layoffs, and she is one of them. This puts a strain on Garrett and Isabelle’s relationship. When things start looking up for them, Isabelle and her family are put in danger. This story is is filled with drama, mystery, and suspense. It’s written beautifully, the storyline is thrilling, and the characters are amazing and have sizzling chemistry. A definite must read and one I highly recommend.
This amazing story was so well-written that I could feel the growing emotions involved between a wealthy man and a debt-ridden working class woman. Isabelle is a BDSM house submissive being trained by Garrett. Without her being aware of it, he was also the owner of the company where she and several of her family members worked. This particular day, because of setbacks, they are all fired. She and her family are frightened and furious and now, after seeing Garrett on tv, aware of who was to blame.
Isabelle and Garrett have slowly become close at their BDSM club. But, because of Isabelle’s job, company embezzlement, false firings, and family involvement, we are skillfully led into the developing danger and burgeoning attachment Isabelle and Garrett feel for each other. What will they do to counteract the danger? Will their caring relationship grow past the pain and uncertainty?
This is the first book that I have read by this author. I am deeply impressed by her ability to skillfully harness my emotions so that I almost felt a part of the story. I cannot wait to read more.
really enjoyed this book and read it in one day it has a little of everything in a story that flows. It has suspense, murder, kindness, family - both good and bad, incredible sex, humour, treachery, forgiveness and a happy ending. Garrett and Isabelle are from two different worlds outside of Solitaire but they are drawn together as much as Garrett’s money bothers Isabelle. Garrett protects Isabelle in every way even when she doesn’t want him to but she is honest enough to admit when she is wrong and eventually love overcomes her reservations. This book will keep you enthralled until the very end. A thoroughly good read.
Bling By Ivy Nelson Main Characters: Isabelle and Garrett I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author. 4 out of 5 stars Isabelle and Garrett are from two different worlds. He is rich and she works for him along with a few others in her family. She is Garrett's submissive at Solitaire. This is book 3 in the Diamond Doms series and the only one I have read so far. Isabelle has a good heart and is always giving and helping her family. Garrett thinks he has finally found a submissive that he can see keeping. Of course, things do not go smoothly or as planned. I enjoyed this book and would love to read the rest of the series.
Bling: A Diamond Doms Novel is another fantastic story in this series. This is Garrett and Isabelle's romance. Colorado Logistics is one of Garrett's companies and he's had to layoff workers. Unbeknownst to him, Isabelle was one of the workers fired. Just when things were going good, sh#t hit the fan. Its jam packed with emotions! There's drama, misunderstandings, mystery, suspense, up and downs and passion. The storyline is gripping, the characters are wonderful and the chemistry sizzling hot. I'm looking forward to Lance's story next. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I've liked all of the diamond doms novel and I loved this story too. There is suspense, steam, fun and great characters. Garrett is a business man, very wealthy, a Dom and a protective man, especially when it comes to Isabella his employee and his submissive trainee at club Solitaire. Two big problems arise making their relationship difficult. One is their economic disparity and the other is danger. It is a quick intense read. I received a free copy of this book via bookfunnel in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Isabelle and her family are struggling to make ends meet when many of them are fired from their jobs, Garrett is the man who owns the company but comes to find out that the firing was not done right. Garrett and Isabelle are in the beginning of a Dom and Sub relationship at the Solitaire club and this issue make it very tough for them in their relationship. Garret rehires her family and fixes the issues with the firing for the employees and Isabelle is hired as his assistant. This again creates many issues in their relationship and a bumpy road to their HEA.
The Diamond Doms are back and this book is Garret and Isabelle's story. Like the others in the series there is intrigue and heat and a beautiful love story. The underlying lesson in all the books including this one is family is what you make it and not always about blood. The Doms and Subs in these books are a family and the family is growing as each Dom finds their forever sub. I cannot wait for Lance's story.
I read a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
Another awesome instalment in the Diamond Doms series, which just gets better with each new book. Ivy Nelson writes from her heart, and manages to combine sinfully sexy erotica with romance and an enticing storyline to keep your attention. Garrett and Isabelle's story is loaded with drama, but has you rooting for them all the way
Isabelle and Garrett come from completely different backgrounds. Their relationship is fraught with treachery, espionage, and deception. I enjoyed this book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is my first book by this author and this series and it's enticing. Isabelle finds out what Garrett is responsible for and their relationship starts going downhill from there. But their chemistry is undeniable so they can't stay away from each other for long. There is also some mystery and suspense that adds to the tension.
Hot, beautiful story between Garrett, a successful, wealthy dom, and Isabelle, a sweet sub from a poor, close family. There is a lot of chemistry and love between them despite their differences, there is also a lot happening their relationship, the club and the warehouse, which makes for an easy to read, interesting story. ARC review.
Superb Read. I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I found my new book boyfriend. I highly recommend this book. It's hot, steamy, sexy, and suspense. This book is book 3 in a series but each book is a stand-alone. You do not need to read the other books to know what is happening in the story. This book also has a HEA and no cheating. I voluntarily read and review this book.
Wow, loving this series. Isabelle is just starting a Dom/ sub relationship with Garrett but little does she know he is her boss. But for how much longer? This book had it all. Drama, intrigue and a little mystery, great characters, a lot of steam and even a little romance. Garrett and Isabelle, Just had that IT couple, him gruff domineering alpha when in his role as Dom but warm and approachable when not. Isabelle is just learning her way in BDSM, a little naive but no pushover. She wants to experience it all and to please her Sir. Such an enjoyable and hot book with just a few extra spicy bits added for those who like a little more. This was an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
WOW! Just finished reading this book and I couldn't put it down! This is the second story I read but I was still able to follow the overall story line without losing track of this story. Garrett and Isabelle story is heart melting and suspenseful. The Diamond Doms is a series I have to read now. Enjoy!!
I love this series. Yes there is sex and bdsm but there is also a story line. The characters are relatable. Shows a real life girl and her family in less than ideal condition but who love each other and work together. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Another entertaining addition to the Diamond Doms series. Lots of mystery and intrigue. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Nice chemistry between Garrett and Isabelle. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review
This is the 3rd book in the diamond Doms series. It is an enemies 2 lovers romance. When things start to unravel can Garrett and Isabelle figure out what is going on?
