A pregnant Sarah is picked to be on a game show for pregnant women. Just before the show begins, the show’s announcer suddenly screams and dies.

Sarah, Amanda and 3 other ‘participants’ are required to play a different game where one of them or all of them could die. The two people dressed as clowns are running this game begin with over 10 million viewers watching, which includes the LAPD. Both Pete, Sarah’s former partner in LAPD, along with her husband Conrad are on the outside. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that there are supposed to be three, yes, three bombs that could explode and kill everyone inside the studio.

Is there someone else running this show, not just the clowns? Read on to get the full story.

SNOW WAY OUT is another installment to Wendy Meadow's enjoyable Alaska Cozy Mystery series. Like all of her stories, this one was easy to jump right into and get to know these well developed characters, their town and the trouble that seems to follow Sarah. The surprises, intrigue and suspense make this a good page-turning mystery

Sarah is enjoying her pregnancy when she's invited to LA to participate in a new game show featuring moms-to-be. So off Sarah and her friend Amanda go. As usual with these two ladies things don't go according to plans.

They said it would be a fun, relaxing game show for moms-to-be. A chance to win great gifts for their new baby.  No one mentioned poisened diapers or bombs. Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda just stayed home.

Sarah and Amanda are absolutely likely to live a life that is always interesting and never boring

It is pretty inevitable that when Sarah agrees to go on a game show for pregnant women, that chaos and mayhem will follow- worse than two pregnant ladies stealing candy from out of Amanda’s hands.

Los Angeles has many dark sides, and the connections between the studios, the police and organized crime in this book are deep and dark indeed.

Cleverness, luck, and a few good cops among several bad and inept ones might just let Sarah, Amanda, Conrad and Pete survive- and maybe a few other victims as well

A tangled tale where the victims are not completely innocent and the action is streamed live online

What do you think of a TV game show of pregnant women? Myself? I can just picture disaster happening.

The issue is if your concept matches the story. Mine did not. Thank goodness. Oh, there was disaster all right.

You will need to read this story to figure it out.

If regular reader of the series, you will love this next book. This series is one of my favorites by this author.

If not regular reader maybe first time, welcome, then go ahead and read it. Guarantee you will love it. There is a small bit of reference to previous stories, but you will be fine. Story reads well all by itself. Those hints will make you want to go back and catch up.

Great standalone, easily read in a day or two, fun easy to read story. Go ahead. You know you want to.

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
I apologize for the lateness of this review.

Sarah and Amanda, along with their husbands, are in LA. The ladies are contestants on an expectant moms gameshow. Seems like a fun way to win some prizes, right? Well maybe not.

During the taping they are among a small group being held hostage, by clowns! Who wants Sarah to find a killer in the group.

It’s up to pregnant Sarah and Amanda to free the hostages. And keep them safe from the crazy clowns. Sarah’s husband Conrad and Amanda’s husband Pete are their lifeline on the outside.

This is a quick, fun read filled with suspense and a lot of twists. While this series is a bit edgier than Wendy’s others, it is still a clean, well written cozy.

Thanks to an ARC provided by Booksprout I was able to read and honestly review this book!

I don't know if this series can get any better. I just love it. It's exciting that Sarah is finally pregnant. I pray nothing happens in that regard. This is a series that you really connect with the characters.
They are visiting L.A. so Sarah can be on a game show and win a cruise around the world. At least Junebug wants her to win for her. Of course her fame is brought up. It didn't get ten minutes into the taping before the host drops dead and unknown assailants take over with a bomb threat.
They say there is a killer among them and want to play a game of chance until they get a confession. No one can get in and no one out. Sarah has to find a way to stop them and escape without being blown up.
This was really an intense, exciting, edge of your seat action. I really enjoyed this one.

Figuring all is well with the Snowman now dead, Sarah heads to LA, invited to participate in a new game show featuring pregnant moms who can win prizes for the babies. But as things get started, the game show host dies of poisoning. Immediately the studio is cleared of all but Sarah, Amanda, and 3 others as two creepy clowns appear. The hostages are forced to play a new type of game for the vengeful killer. Can Sarah and Amanda protect everyone from the danger and take down the bad guy?

This was a suspenseful story line with twists and turns to keep the tension high with the possibility of bombs that could go off at any time and the dangerous clowns. Sarah has the skill set for survival – but can she save the situation in time?

Joyful to be pregnant, Sarah agrees to be on a show called “Pregnant Bliss” in LA. The experience doesn’t turn out as she expected from the start, especially when a gruesome murder takes place on air. Masked perpetrators hold 5 people hostage on the stage, including Sarah and Amanda. The live choreographed scenario for revenge is being broadcast while Conrad and Pete wait outside, working on their own plan. Meanwhile, Sarah and Amanda bide their time, doing their best to survive. This was probably the most suspenseful novel yet, and Wendy Meadows has had me on the edge of my seat numerous times. I love these characters and the entire series.

After the end of the saga with the Backyard Killer's daughter, Sarah thought she will finally get a much needed break back in LA with her old partner Pete. But trouble follows her even onto what started as an innocent game show for pregnant women. But someone is killed after the commercial break and Sarah, Amanda and 3 others are kept hostage to play a new sick twisted game where the stakes are high with their lives on the line. Will they be able to outsmart whoever is behind this before they end up as another casualty?

Some major twists.
If you have read any of this series you know that Sarah has been plagued with a shadow out to destroy her. Yet now when she thinks everything will be okay after all the snowman is dead there is another out for her blood. The tale takes some major twists and Sarah will have to use every skill she has to succeed. This one is full of suspense and a bit darker than the other cozies I have from Ms. Meadows. I liked it there is not just one bad guy there are bad guys and a really bad guy made for an interesting cast of characters. If you like cozies this is the one to pick up. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Sarah, Amanda and Conrad head to Los Angeles for a game show. Little do they know, that the game isn't what they thought. It is a game of solve the challenges to get a clue. The studio is locked down with bomb located at the exits. Conrad and Pete are stuck outside the studio and work together to figure out who is doing this, how to enter the studio and save Sarah and Amanda. Sarah must use her wits along with Amanda to figure out who the players are, play the game, and solve the clues. Will they survive this ordeal? A must read if you like mysteries. I enjoy the series and look forward to the next book.

Snow Way out is the 15th book in the Alaska Cozy Mystery series by Wendy Meadows in which Sarah, Amanda and their husbands travel to Los Angeles for the Pregnant Bliss game show. As the show begins the host, dies from poison. Then the real fun begins when two evil clowns take over the show. While keeping three people, Sarah and Amanda hostage the clowns begin their own game in which pregnant Sarah needs to keep everyone safe until Pete and Conrad can save them.

I love this series where there is wonderful characters, thrills and suspense. Can't wait for the next book in the series in which hopefully there's a baby born.

Sarah, Amanda, and Andrew go to Los Angeles so Sarah and Amanda can take part in a game show for pregnant women. Things seem to be going fine until the first commercial break. Then everything is nothing like it seemed before. Now, Sarah, Amanda, and others are being held hostage to a ruthless person who is out for revenge. Can they make it out alive to return to Alaska? You will have to read the book to find out.

Remind me never to go on a game show!
Sounds like it would be loads of fun, but meh, not so much. Some stupidly wealthy people seem to have a knack for just being plain horrible. Money makes some people just lose their minds, morals and common sense. Top that off with television and you have a recipe for murder. The cherry on the cake with this story is that the game show is for pregnant women! So look out folks! Hormones and icky diapers go flying as the stakes soar! Great read! Loved every minute of it!

Amanda and Sarah thought a game show for pregnant women would be fun. A vacation on Los Angeles with their husbands should have beed just the thing for them. The game show turned into a murder investigation and was very dangerous for both of them. It took Sarah, Amanda, Conrad and Pete to but an end to the danger and solve the mystery. Great addition to the series.

Pregnancy trivial game show to nightmare game show

Sarah cannot go anywhere! Craziness happens all around her. Bizarre changes to the game show. Who is the true nightmare game host? Pete is in this story and his character brings good ole solid police work to the plot. Amanda is funny as ever and has one mean right hook!

Wendy Meadows is one of my top 5 favorite authors. Snow Way Out (Alaska series #15) is the best one yet. If you have not read any of the books in this series, begin with the 1st book (The Snowman Killer) and read them in chronological order. Each book is better than the last and I can hardly wait for book #16.

unique plot

Like all the plots in the Snowman series, this one is beyond most imaginations. Again, Sarah and Amanda are in grave danger. Amanda surprises everyone, including her fellow captives and captor, with her physical and mental skills. Sarah’s brains—as well as Pete’s brains, skills, contacts and preparedness—save the day.

This series has 15 books. Alaska cozy.

Yes, there are more books in this series. The total of different murders is 29 so far. The sweeter series has 14. Now I'm ready to start the Mapleton ones. You will want to read as many as you can. Happy reading!
