Und Denvers erster Auftrag als Sportjournalistin ist, den Profi-Baseballer zu interviewen … Keine Chance, dass sie den größten Fehler ihres Lebens wiederholt und sich noch mal in ihn verliebt.

Schreibstil:
Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist total flüssig, liest sich super und ist sehr leicht verständlich.

Charaktere:
Die Hauptprotagonistinnen sind Delia, Zoe, Montana und Denver
Der Hauptprotagonisten sind Zach, Caleb, Andrew und Shepard

Ich fande alle Charaktere von Anfang an total sympathisch und liebenswert. Des weiteren gibt es noch ein paar andere Charaktere. . Meiner Meinung nach sind alle Charakter sehr gelungen und haben einen sehr guten Platz im Buch bekommen.

Mir hat „Text Me Baby One More Time Band 1-4“ von Teagan Hunter richtig gut gefallen. Die ersten zwei Bände kannte ich schon und von den letzten zwei Bücher der Reihe war ich genauso begeistert, wie von den ersten. Teagan hat so eine tolle Art und Weise zu schreiben, dass ich einfach nur so durch die Bücher geflogen bin. Von der ersten Seite ist das Buch einfach nur total lustig und frech geschrieben. Was mir persönlich echt gut gefällt. Jedes Buch und jedes Pärchen war auf seine ganz eigene Art und Weise richtig zauberhaft. Ich bin ein echter Fan von dem Buch. Eine sehr tolle Möglichkeit um mal ein bisschen Abstand vom Alltag zu gewinnen. Ich bin sehr begeistert von den Bundle, weil für mich persönlich alles gepasst hat. Von der Idee, Umsetzung, Schreibstil, Dialoge, Protagonisten, Setting und von den Emotionen. Deshalb bekommt „Text Me Baby One More Time Band 1-4“ von mir auch sehr gerne 5 Sterne und eine klare Leseempfehlung.

Fazit:

Tolles Bundle, mit tollen 4 einzelnen Bücher, die jeder auf seine Art und Weise ganz besonders sind. Klare Leseempfehlung und eine super Unterhaltung mit ganz viel Witz und Charme und die Liebe kam auch nicht zu kurz.

„Wrong number, right guy“

Delia hat sich gerade im Guten von ihrem Freund Caleb getrennt und dennoch bläst sie ein bisschen Trübsal. Als ihr da Zach aus Versehen eine Textnachricht schickt, kommen die beiden ins Gespräch und es dauert nicht lange, da wacht Delia morgens wieder mit einem Grinsen im Gesicht auf, weil sie gleich an Zach denken muss. Denn auch wenn die beiden nur schreiben und sich noch nie persönlich getroffen haben, so entwickelt sich zwischen den beiden doch eine Freundschaft mit gewissen anzüglichen Nachrichten.

Dieses Buch ist wirklich sehr gut geschrieben, jung und dynamisch. Die Story besteht zu gleichen Teilen aus Textnachricht, wie auch aus Dialogen. So bald sich die zwei das erste Mal treffen, werden die Textnachrichten natürlich auch weniger. Das Buch ist echt witzig, ein bisschen sexy und auch ein bisschen dramatisch. Mir hat dieses Young- Adult Buch wirklich sehr gut gefallen.

„Hate you much, Love you More“

Caleb Mills, der Ex-Freund ihrer besten Freundin, ist der letzte Mensch, den Zoe als neuen Mitbewohner möchte. Aber Caleb kann sonst nirgends hin, also gibt sie ihm eine Chance. Schließlich wohnen sie ja nur zusammen, und das bedeutet ja nicht, dass sie sich näherkommen müssen. Denn sich in den Ex-Freund der besten Freundin zu verlieben, geht gar nicht. Doch das Herz hält sich nicht an Regeln.

Was ich sehr gut an diesem Buch fand, dass die Protas so sprechen wie es junge Collegestudenten in dem Alter tun sollten. Sprich sie sind nicht 20 Jahre alt und sprechen wie junggebliebene 30-jährige, wie es in manch anderen Büchern vorkommt. Mir hat auch der Mix aus Textnachrichten, die sich Zoe und Caleb gegenseitig schreiben und den normalen Gesprächen gefallen. Dadurch kam nie Langeweile auf, auch weil Zoe wirklich eine „coole Socke“ und echt witzig ist.

Mit hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen und würde es jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

„Hot kisses, cold feet“

Was haben ein sexy tätowierter Bad Boy, eine Grundschullehrerin und ein flauschiges Kaninchen gemeinsam? Auf den ersten Blick nichts, aber beim Blick in dieses Buch sehr sehr viel!
Denn wenn eine liebe, eher zurückhaltende Grundschullehrerin aus ihrem alten Leben ausbrechen will, kann es durchaus vorkommen, dass sie sich plötzlich mit einem sexy Kerl in einer Bar knutschend wiederfindet. Geschockt von sich selbst rennt sie davon, nicht ohne ihm ihre Nummer gegeben zu haben und schon beginnt das Abenteuer ihres Lebens.

Auch in diesem Buch dominieren die Textnachrichten, die sich die beiden Protas schreiben. Aber zu jeder Zeit weiß man, wer wem schreibt und sie lockern im Allgemeinen das Buch auf. Ich persönlich finde die Dialoge super witzig, sexy, charmant und auch erfrischend. Mir hat es insgesamt wirklich gut gefallen. Man muss es natürlich mögen, dass viele Dialoge in dieser Nachrichtenform stattfinden. Aber ich denke man muss es unbedingt gelesen haben… allein wegen dem flauschigen Kaninchen 😉


„Old Love, New Trouble“

Also ich gebe es zu, nachdem ich „Wrong number, right guy“ gelesen habe, hatte ich keinerlei Sympathien für Shep übrig und musste mich etwas überwinden dieses Buch zu lesen. Denn ich konnte mir nicht vorstellen, dass ich Shep in irgendeiner Weise leiden könnte. Aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt. Denn es sind einige Jahre vergangen und wir erfahren, warum Shep auf dem College so ein A… war und ehrlich, ich kann ihn nun ein bisschen besser verstehen. Schuld an allem ist Denver, seine erste große Liebe, die Shep selbst zerstört hat.

Denver ist eine tolle Persönlichkeit, wir durften sie schon im dritten Teil ein bisschen kennenlernen, denn sie ist die Zwillingsschwester von Montana.

Auch in diesem Buch besteht ein Teil der Konversationen aus SMS, aber dieses Mal sind es SMS, die sie sich vor 6 Jahren geschrieben haben und wir erfahren, wie die beiden sich kennen und lieben gelernt haben.

Am Ende wurde ich eines besseren belehrt und fand auch dieses Buch sehr gut und es passt sehr gut zu der ganzen Reihe.

Alle Bücher sind jung, dynamisch, manchmal etwas verrückt (ich sag nur Babyziegen, Katzen, Kaninchen und Möpse) geschrieben und enthalten auch ein paar sexy Szenen. Für mich eine gelungene Reihe im Young Adult Bereich.

Man fliegt nur so durch die Seiten und Geschichten. Der Schreibstil ist flüssig und locker. Die Protagonisten sind interessante und mehrdimensionale Charaktere, die einem Spaß am Lesen bringen, ganz besonders in den sehr humorvollen Abschnitten.

Als ihr Verlobter sie dann betrügt und ihre Eltern dafür plädieren, dass sie ihn trotzdem heiratet, flieht sie zu ihrer Schwester. Sie will endlich ihr eigenes Leben führen und frei sein. Robbie kommt ihr da gerade recht. Groß, muskulös und tätowiert verspricht er all das zu sein, was Montana nicht ist. Am Ende ihres ersten Abends in einer Bar gibt sie ihm ihre Handynummer. Und während die beiden beginnen zu schreiben und zu flirten, stellt Montana fest, Robbie hat ein weiches Herz. Mit seiner Zuneigung schafft Montana es, ihre Bedenken zu überwinden. Aber nicht jeder ist mit ihrer Beziehung einverstanden und sobald ein Problem gelöst zu sein scheint, taucht ein neues auf. Können sie gemeinsam allen Widrigkeiten trotzen?

Okay so there are some series that you should read back to back just to keep up with the consistency of the characters.

In my opinion this is not one of those series.

And the reason? Because if you do everything about the characters and the plot lines will blend together. There isn't a real way to avoid it. And that doesn't make it a bad series by any stretch of the imagination although there were some books I did enjoy more than others. But it was very formulaic. And while every genre out there follows a formula on some levels, for this one, the proverbial thorn was that on some levels, it was essentially the same basic premise .

Boy meets Girl. There is some sort of texting relationship. Smexy times ensue. Cute animal insert. Misunderstanding or conflict. Resolution.

Honestly, I probably shouldn't have read these 'back to back'. I should have taken at least a month or two in between them. But because they were in the box set and I wanted to finish them all this year, I essentially binged them and that kind of killed it for me. Overall, it was an okay series, hence the three stars. But that is on average because I don't feel all of them were three star worthy.

Here's the break down:

Let's Get Textual: the first and arguably still my favorite. Everything that made this series stand out was still new in this one, and I loved the humor and pop culture references. Plus baby goats. The conflict here was, in essence, the most believable one IMO. Probably the one I would choose to re-read multiple times.

I Wanna Text You Up: so, I appreciated the whole 'girl code' thing here I really did. But six months does not a meaningful relationship make. Six months is enough to realize that you may connect on a physical level but not so much on anything else and move on. So, yeah, that being the main conflict got on my nerves really quickly because it could have been easily resolved had Zoe just gone up to Delia and been honest.

Can't Text This: I don't mind raunchy romance but this was a little much for me in some levels. I found that Monty's innocence and Robbie's vulgarity was too exaggerated at every point in the story. Like, maybe I'm just wired a different way but if a guy I had a one night make out session texted me the way Robbie did? Insta-block. No thank you. Plus, the whole her being the teacher of his child was made to be a bigger deal than it was in the synopsis when in reality it took up two chapters. Not a big deal in the long run.

Text Me Baby One More Time: look, I get people make mistakes. And everyone deserves a second chance or redemption arc. However, every time I was in Shep's head I didn't see that he was deserving of this because in his own brain he was still a sexist, misogynistic jerk. Like, there was nothing there to redeem for me because we didn't even get an external alpha-hole, internal sensitive guy here. Even his reasoning for being a dill-hole to Denny was utter BS. I will admit that I grudge-read this entire book. I was not impressed with this last entry. I don't understand why this was a thing because I could have been content with Shep not receiving an HEA.

Textin' Up My Heart/Let's Get It On: we return to Zach and Delia for these and they were both cute enough and a nice little recap of where everyone was so many years later. It was a nice palate cleanser for me since I disliked Shep and Denny's story so much.

Again, overall enjoyable enough. I will likely never re-read Shep/Denny's story or if I do I will skip all Shep's chapters. But I still maintain to take breaks in between them because the set up is too similar between them all. If you don't, then they will not stand out in your mind on their own.

Meine Meinung:
Die Geschichten waren ein Highlight für mich. Der Schreibstil ist locker und flüssig gehalten. Es werden Themen, wie Liebe, Familie, Vertrauen, Verrat aber auch Vergebung angesprochen. Besonders gelungen an der Reihe finde ich den großen Anteil an Textnachrichten, welche sich die Hauptprotas hin und herschreiben. Man lernt die Charaktere dabei immer besser kennen und genießt es, ihr gegenseitiges Kennenlernen und ineinander verlieben, mitzuverfolgen. Mir hat es Spaß gemacht, die Geschichten zu lesen. Sie konnten mich gut unterhalten.

I'll already have individual review for the books so I'll focus on the bonus and texting up my heart.

I really liked the San Valentine short story, it was super sweet and reflected Delia and Zack's relationship I only wish it was placed after LGT and not at the very end of the box set.

Texting up my heart was... Well it was something, not sure good. You see I read it when I finished reading Shep's book and well I was extremely mad about the story so it's possible I may have not appreciated like I should have. I felt like Delia was a loser which made me uncomfortable, this is because they were singing everyone's praises and achievements and then Delia was being sad and depress because it seemed like Zack didn't even spent time with her anymore. Also, Zack was super romantic on LGT and on the San Valentine's story, so why the hell did the planned something extremely tacky?? That throw me off a lot. In the end, not my favorite, was nice to see where everyone is now, but still didn't really liked it.

Let's Get Textual

I was in the mood for some rom-coms and this series...this book... fit the bill perfectly!! I laughed out loud, I felt so deeply for these characters and I absolutely adored their meet-cute and all the text conversations. Zach and Delia had the most unusual beginning but what they found together is definitely once-in-a-lifetime.

I Wanna Text You Up

Caleb: You never stop surprising me.
Me: Is that a bad thing?
Caleb: Not at all.
I loved this story - such an interesting "trope" with an ex and a best friend becoming roommates and then more! I loved seeing Caleb and Zoe dance around their attraction to each other ... there was lots of hilarity and lots of heat as well as some great heartfelt moments! Another wonderful story in this series.

Single dad tropes are one that I haven't read a lot of but this one was just beautiful. Xavie - Robbie's son - is absolutely hilarious and one of the cutest kids I've read. Robbie and Monty are two who are just made for one another and I loved every moment of watching them fall in love.

Text Me Baby One More Time

“It’s a fine line between love and hate, Bucky.”
A second chance romance with a hero who I thought wasn't redeemable.. this book was fantastic and unpredictable and shocking in the best of ways. Sheppard is the brother of Zach from Let's Get Textual and involved in a pretty nasty incident in that book ... I honestly didn't think that I would love him but I truly did and I think that Denny was the perfect match for him. This was a great way to end the series! I loved it.

I haven't one-clicked anything this fast in who knows how long! I loved this series A LOT - it's the perfect kind of New Adult romance with so much great dialogue, banter, heavy use of texting, and chemistry that sparks off the page. Each book in the series has its own vibe, but they're all light, fun reads with varying levels of angst. My personal favorites are Let's Get Textual (it was a hit for a reason!) and Text Me Baby One More Time, but you really can't go wrong with any of these. I was hooked from the very first page of the series and that didn't change at all as it went on.

This box set has bonus content that will enhance the reading experience for fans of the series, and if you're new to Teagan Hunter's work, then it's all right here! This is a MEGA collection, taking up a whopping 17,000+ locations on my Kindle, so you really can't go wrong. In case you couldn't guess... I highly recommend it!

Shep and Denver. Love them, and their story. Shep has hurt a lot of people over the years, as well as Denver, because of his fear of intimacy and anger issues. Their second chance story has all the feels, and a reckoning, on their way to a HEA.

I just can't say enough!

Someone recommended this author to me, and THANK YOU for that, 'cause this read was:
A) Adorable
B) Easy to read &
C) Full of great characters

I felt like I knew these characters and was invested in their HEAs. Several times I was very angry at the stupid things these guys put these women through, but that (honestly) made the entire read better. And, the chemistry between the H/h of each story is steamy!!

I have to say, this box set is one of the best collections of stories that I've read in quite a while. I'm sad I'm done, I will miss them! ;)
I highly recommend this author and series. You can't go wrong with this one.

Book 3) Robbie & Monty- I did cry, they have a semi bittersweet but ADORABLE romance and I’m not a fan of the awks situation but they were funny
Book 4) Shep & Denny - bittersweet again but in a different way. I hated shep for what he did but it could’ve been worse but he put in the work. I enjoyed how everyone linked in but they’re probs my least fave couple:/

Overall I really enjoyed each of the characters and learning their relationships with each other. I’m a little sad it’s over but the bonus was really sweet🥺

Omg

I stumbled upon this book, oh I couldn't put it down. It is lol funny and you just get sucked right into the happenings. I've now got all her other books I'm hoping they're even half as good as this box set was. If I could give more than five stars I'm telling you I would. In fifty shades my favourite parts were the text and emails and no this book is not mommy pornography like fifty shades but the texting and emailing is so on the the edge of your seat just like it you really just connect and I loved it. Goats, a kitten, crabs, a bunny, and a pug...

This series was fun! I enjoyed each and every story and fell in love with all four guys and the sisterhood bond the girls had. Along with a fantastic leading lady and a swoon-worthy man, each book is equipped with an adorable animal to help the romance along. I wished that there were more POV’s in the first two books (lookin’ at you Zach and Caleb). I also wish there was a little more depth in Monty and Caleb’s “backgrounds,” but I really enjoyed this series.

If you haven’t read these books before, you’re in for a treat with them being all boxed up in one set. All four books and the bonus content neatly packaged for your convenience. Each book has its own uniqueness but they also have the same quality of humor and romance. What a fun idea!

I loved all 4 of these stories in this collection! I think it was great how Teagan used texting as an intricate part of the story telling as in this day and age it really is.

I laughed a lot throughout each story and couldn’t pick a favorite couple if I tried. Wait that’s a lie, Monty and Robbie’s story might have been my favorite 🙈. But all of the stories were well written, fun and steamy!

Hilarious interesting emotional realistic

Freaking hilarious from beginning to end. Seriously, this is such a realistic book for now a days. I loved how each couple had to over come hurdles, but did it in unique yet some interestingly ways. Great series

I love these guys. I love the concept. Falling for a person sight unseen is the new norm.
Zach (with an H) and Deilia were still probably my favorites. Maybe, Robbie and Monty were pretty hot, Caleb and Zoe were perfect and Shep and Denny were just oh so sweet. Each couple had their problems and it was so fun watching each one find their way.

Great RomCom series!!

If you love texting, this is definitely the series for you!! Funny yet with great twists and turns in the plays and character arcs. Although they could be ready as standalone, having them published as a set so they can be read in order makes the stories flow best. Love Teagan’s sense of humor!
