When i first heard about this book i was hyped up because i just love the blurb and i fucking love every second of this story guys. It was good pace and some steamy moments.

Darlene is your sorta typical woman who loves reading, has a bookstagram and works around books, with that one friend who always has her back. Now being at the wrong place wrong time has Darlene kidnapped and taken to mob boss Matteo who's deal was ruined. At first glace their is a spark from growly coldish Matteo he finds his little captive cute and brave when he asks her question and getting a honest answer. He knows she innocent but theirs still the threat of the other rival family. So he has a plan in motion..let me tell you girl only worked few days. And was living inside his library 🤣🤣🔥😭❤❤ but also had this tension between the two until they both couldn't fight it.
Matteo is the perfect alpha.. hard on the outside little softie on the inside. And i loved him so much!! Plus that mouth 🔥🔥 also DARLENE!! you first meet her and she is alittle soft and shy but girl grew and had some claws.
But not all sunshines and cupcakes.. nope we still have some drama and betrayals in this family. Also it never hurts when the heroine is name is your own lol so filled alot of my omg!!

Now i cant wait for Luca and his girl who i think is Darlene BFF.. they have some tension over that phone call.

A good and super steamy mafia romance. Totally safe. Tiny angst (heroine is kidnapped but they don't rape her or anything). Virgin heroine and celibate hero. Nice epilogue with pregnant heroine but wish it was further out in the future.

Darlene (21) was caught at the wrong time and place. She was taking some photos for her bookstagram account when she unintentionally stumbled on a mafia deal going down in that dock. The men took her, thinking she was a mole, and she was brought to Matteo's (30) house to be interrogated.
 
Then instant attraction came in, and Matteo realized she wasn't a threat, but her life became in danger after that meeting. So, he hired her to be his maid, but honestly, she never did any cleaning 😂 she was always in the library reading and updating her account. 😂
 
Anyway, this was an okay read. I didn't understand the infatuation he has for her, but I can let that go as this is a novella and everything is fast-paced. The problem thrown at the end was predictable, and the end of the villain was anticlimactic. 🤷‍♀️ But as for the romance, it was cute and swoony, but sometimes their OTT sweetness was cringey 😅 but that's a me problem. 
 
Overall, I still enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to reading Freya's book.

Talk about a thoroughly enjoyable, hot and sexy read (pardon me while I fan myself!). “Made For The Mafia Boss” is a fantastic afternoon read especially if you are a bookstagramming babe like me!
In this book we meet Darlene, librarian by day bookstagrammer by night. She’s living the book life, getting herself into trouble while scoping out the best place to take a photograph to post to her feed (we’ve all been there 😉). Caught taking pictures in the wrong place, gets her into a world of trouble, when she’s mistaken for a mole.
No worries cause the bad guy is a bearded, sexy, mafia boss, who falls head over pasta dish for the curvaceous bookstagrammer (pardon me while I fan myself again!). Matteo is completely taken by the sexy librarian and is unable to resist her, he falls hard and fast for her with zero regrets. Trust me when I say you need to read this book! TBR and enjoy!

Beauty and the mafia beast

Wow. I'm not normally one for mafia type books due to the darker aspects and unsafe nature of that lifestyle but I'm SO glad I read this. Loved it actually. I absolutely adored the way the H loved and cared for the h. At first, he was trying to convince himself and her that she didn't mean anything to him but once he recognized and embraced his feelings...whoa boy. It was full on.
-virgin h, celibate H for 10 years (could have done without the mention of his previous "quick and rough" f@(ks that didn't mean anything BUT the author made it where he was long time celibate and said it, in my opinion, to show how much the h truly meant to him. And I appreciated that immensely.
-no cheating or OW drama
-some abuse - h was kidnapped and hit
-dual POV
-epilogue only a few months out but I'm sure we'll see them in the next book, which is Luca's story and I have a feeling I'm going to fall in love today. Because I'm reading his next. There's 2 more books already out in this series and I pray to the safety gods that the H's will at least not be MW. 🙏

Really enjoyed this book! For me it had the right mix of steam, smut, feels and laughs. Matteo was pretty much gone for Darlene from the moment she walked into his life and it was nice that he didn't fight that. Virtually no push/pull in this book even though our H doesn't think he's good enough so he does sort of keep her at arms length for a bit. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book.

Wow! That one word really sums this book up for me. I was SO impressed with this story. Yes is had those dark and gritty edges any good crime family story has but the relationship depth that develops between Darlene and Matteo is what really blew me away.

At first I did not like Matteo at all...but that's what I get for judging so quick. There is so much more to him then meets the eye. The same is true for Darlene, she is also stronger and braver then I would have guessed.

I left this book impressed and dying for Luca and Freya's story...don't leave me hanging Cameron 😉

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Having grown up in foster care Darlene likes her life predictable and a little boring. When she is kidnapped she is scared but ready for an adventure, she definitely wasn’t expecting Matteo. Matteo is struck dumb the moment he sees Darlene. He tries hard to fight his feelings for her but gives up because he knows staying away from her is futile. Matteo becomes a man obsessed and Darlene is his only focus. I loved watching this big, strong, serious man fall hard for his woman. She was his whole world and he constantly showed her. Darlene was a strong and feisty woman. She hid her confidence behind baggy close and lots of internal walls. Matteo gave her the strength and power to show off her true self. I am really looking forward to book 2.

Completely safe. No ow/om drama, lots of drama. h is kidnapped twice. She is roughed up and drugged the second time. H has been celibate for ten years and h is a virgin.

Darlene tiene una vida sencilla pero al menos puede hacer lo que más le gusta: leer. También tiene una cuenta de bookstagram dónde saca fotos a sus libros con fondos que creen que pegan con la historia... Y eso es lo que la metió en problemas. Cuando unos hombres la ven con una cámara piensan que los está espiando y termina siendo secuestrada, solo que a pesar de que una parte de ella está asustada hay otra que se muere por vivir una aventura. Y cuando conozca a Matteo el jefe de la mafia va a ser mucho más que una aventura...

Pues la verdad estoy algo decepcionada. Ha sido un libro muy flojo para lo que me esperaba por la sinopsis y todo lo demás. Es demasiado simple, bastante plano si os digo la verdad el drama sucedía pero apenas se puede considerar drama porque dos páginas después ya estaba solucionado. Matteo para ser jefe de la mafia es un blandengue, no es que prefiera que sea un cabron, pero como que le ha faltado algo para mí gusto eso y que el amor entre estos dos fue a primera vista y más rápido casi que en una historia corta. Todas las demás páginas de rellenaron con escenas de sexo cada poco 🤷🏻‍♀️.

En fin, que me esperaba más, y la verdad si hubiera sido más corta como historia corta hubiese pasado... Para pasar el rato si no quieres mucho drama vale bien, pero si buscas una buena historia de romance de mafia aquí no es.

Loved it! Matteo was playing hard to get but he couldn't resist Darlene. What turns out to be a case of mistaken kidnapping turned force proximity for protection, turns into a HEA. Filled with extremely hot sex scenes, betrayal, kidnapping, killings and tender-filled poignant moments between the hero and heroine makes for a wonderful mafia story. Truly enjoyed this one and I am on to the next one. I love Freya and Luca, Lol. 4.5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟

Omg i loved this book so much it was everything and more.

Darlene has 2 things she loves in life her best friend freya and her books she loves sharing about them on her social media when one evening she gets kidnapped and ends up in the arms of a mafia boss Matteo where he convinces her to stay with him so he can protect her.

Matteo is a hard man a good boss he gets things done but once he sees Darlene he knows she will be his queen forever and no one will stand in his way ever.

Loved this book so so much it was beautiful super smexy romantic and just so well written.

Im really hoping that Freya and Luca get a book.

as already mentioned, hero is celibate for a very long time. Doesn’t get descriptive about previous exp, only a teensy brief mention that he had never “made love” before, in the sense that sex had never been about love. Heroine is a virgin, and gives the hero the gift and primal, inimitable connection of claiming her completely. No cheating. There are some elements of abuse (NOT by the hero—he treats Darlene as if she’s precious!) but by enemies of the hero who kidnap her to get to him. It’s minimal and nothing beyond a face slap. Heroine also had a rough life in foster care as a child but no specific abuse is mentioned.

There’s an HEA with an epilogue that is only a few months out.

*spoiler*The blurb was nice but the actions were moving way to fast.From the first 2 chapter we have "love" and "she is only mine" feelings when they have barely meet .She stays because she thinks he can protect her when it was his men who kidnapped her.It doesn't make sense.From then on is a game of " he' dangerous but hot " and " I want her ".
It should have been a more paced and slow book ,easy introducing us in the story not throw us in .It had potential.

When Darlene is kidnapped, she's taken before Matteo as a spy. Instead of ending her, he takes her in, to protect her from a rival family. He doesn't understand the spell she's put on him, he just knows he's going to keep her.

Darlene should be scared but Matteo makes her feel safe and has been taking care of all of her needs. Treating her like a princess instead of a captive.

This is my first book by Cameron Hart. I got this book while I was at an author meet and greet 'Meet Me in Milwaukee.' After just a few pages, I was settling in for a juicy read. I loved Darlene's sweet nature and her underlying strength. Matteo was the perfect dark hero, to sweep not only Darlene away but me as well. I loved that Darlene had a kick ass best friend who loved her for who she was and that they each had each other's back.

Like Mafia romances? I strongly recommend. It's not as dark as some of this genre but I enjoyed falling into this world and can't wait to read the next book in the series.
