Being the enforcer of the Kings Of Carnage MC it’s my job to watch over the women and protect them from dirt bags that strut into Centerfolds.
Aspen worked the pole like every other stripper that night. She wasn’t trying to get my attention, she just wanted what was in my wallet ... cash.
The more she was unfazed by me, the more I wanted to be someone she wouldn’t dare forget.
I get off on a challenge.
I had plans to make it rain dollars on her c-cups with an arrogant smirk on my face all while she worked.
That was before I realized she brought her little girl to work that night.
Now having my full attention, I find Aspen in depths of trouble only my brotherhood can help her and her daughter escape.
I’ll be her prick, and she’ll be the pain in the ass I never wanted. I didn’t need her to fix me, I just wanted her to sit with me in the dark and accept that neither of us was meant to be normal. But can she?

This story felt very rushed to me like we were in a race to get to the end and everything else was just skipped over. With things moving so fast I missed the connection between Aspen and North and didn't even see hints of it until near the end, and by then it was a little too late. Overall, not the book for me but the characters were interesting and I think it will be a hit for fans of a possessive, grumpy hero.
North by MN Forgy was the fourth book in the Kings of Carnage MC series. The series was written by six separate authors and although are all part of the MC storyline, the books can be read in order or as stand-alones.
I loved both North and Aspen. And Halle, we can’t forget about Aspen’s adorable daughter, Halle. North and Aspen were both strong, independent, fierce, loyal and protective. North ran the strip club for the MC and Aspen was doing whatever she needed to do to keep her ex-husband from taking her child away from her. They were two wounded souls that found solace in each other.
Forgy took us through the relationship development, personal conflicts, and cat fight drama with fun, suspense and intrigue. All in all, it was quick but well written and well developed for the length. Bouncer is up next!
North is the enforcer of the Kings Of Carnage MC and one of his jobs is to watch over their strip club, Centerfolds. Not a bad deal for this playboy am I right! Well, there might be one new stripper named Apen that could turn this bad boy into a reformed playboy. Can this single mom catch the MC stud? Will North be able to protect Aspen from her past? This is part of the King’s of Carnage MC Series. If your looking for a gritty, fun and quick read MC romance then pick this one up. Told in dual POV
I loved this book. This is North, Kings of Carnage book 4, and Aspens story. This book is full of suspense, strippers, heartache, destruction and learning about yourself.
Ahh! Leave it to M.N. Forgy to pull me from a serious funk!! I was about to say goodbye to this series. It’s not that I didn’t like it, but I was feeling a bit disappointed by all the fast pace rushed moments. I needed a ‘settle for a slowdown’ moment, and thank you lord; M.N. Forgy gave me what I needed in this series with North.
North is what they call the enforcer of the Kings Of Carnage MC, meaning he’s the one who makes sure everything concerning the club runs smoothly….and those who dare threaten the club, better watch their backs for North. This man is a deadly combination. He’s like the finest jar of moonshine, smooth yet deadly. As enforcer, it’s North’s job to watch over and protect the women who work at Centerfolds (the MC’s strip club). When one of the new dancer’s is having an issue with her ex-husband, North finds himself stepping up to the plate. He’ll do everything in his power to protect Aspen and her daughter from anything; Even her dirty cop of an ex-husband.
Aspen’s life used to be simple. She married the love of her life and became the good little stepford wife; but then the unexpected happened and she found herself pregnant with the baby her husband never wanted. Through years of mental and physical abuse, Aspen has finally had enough and she leaves her husband. Now, newly kicked out from her family home, Aspen finds a job as a dancer at Centerfolds and her ex-husband isn’t taking the news lightly. Throughout the entirety of Aspen’s point of view I found her strength admirable. This woman is fighting for the only thing that matters to her, that being her daughter. She’ll do everything in her power to see to it that her ex will never gain full custody, so she does the only thing she can think to do, she runs to her new boss, North, for help.
I loved North and Aspen’s story. I loved how North, the reputable playboy of the MC, slowly tears down his walls and lets himself feel love. I loved the emotional back and forth moments he went through from time to time. This man has met his match, and he’s found it in Aspen. I also loved Aspen and her drive to protect those who matter to her. North was a great novel full of sexy as sin moments and a suspense filled ride. You only get one ride or die, and Aspen is that and so much more to North. It just took a little extra push for him to clearly see all that was standing in front of him.
Overall, North is my new favorite!!!! There’s just something about a bad boy changing his ways for the woman he loves… and then when you add a single mother and her child into the picture…. There is no going back. What can I say, It’s my kryptonite. I had a feeling, after reading the blurb, that this book could very well be my favorite of the six in the series. We shall see if that stays true as I read the last two books. I’m now even more intrigued to see what comes next with the Kings Of Carnage series.
North and Aspen's story. North is a bit of a hard ass. He is the one who runs the clubs stripper club. He sits on his throne and makes sure nobody messes with the girls. He and the one who is called the house Mom are friends with benefits but he never wants an old lady much less a girlfriend. He comes from up north and that's what the club calls him. He has a bad past but doesn't talk about it.
Aspen has just gotten her divorce and can't find a job anywhere because of who her ex is. He makes sure of it. One place he has no influence is with the King's . Aspen was raised really religious so her family is upset that she even divorced her rotten ex. Since she used to dance when she was younger she easily gets a job at the strip club. She is so sweet and innocent and looks it too so that helps with her look. For some reason the house Mom doesn't like her and it shows. When her sitter quits and she has to start bringing her daughter to work North is all over it. When he hears her story you won't be able to hold him back. Problem is....her ex is or was a cop.
North was the enforcer for the Kings of Carnage MC, one of his jobs is working the strip club Centerfolds they won and ensuring the women's safety if anything gets out of hand. When he sees Aspen on stage he is entranced, their is something so pure and innocent about her that she is captivating. He wants her but he is not man who does commitment and she has a daughter to take care of. When her ex though threatens her North steps up, now he must choose between letting her go or keeping her forever.
I enjoyed the idea of this book. That being said though I think there was a big setup for Aspen getting the job and the reasons why but when it came to North it was so rushed that the chemistry did not develop like I had hoped to read. I definitely would check out others in this series, I am curious about Jinx and Chaos.
I found this book sweet even though it was rather brutal. I loved both the main characters and all the girls in the club. These books are not so much about club life but like days/weeks in the life of a brother.
This is the author I was waiting for. It didn't FEEL like insta-love, at least compared to the others in the series. M.N. Forgy doesn't let you down, even in a novella.
This is the first book I have read in this series, partially because I didn't really know about it until I saw this one. I am a huge fan of Ms. Forgy so really I didn't care about much else. I think it is okay that I haven't read the other books, because while the other characters make an appearance I didn't feel lost or that I was missing anything, per se.
This story was about North, the enforcer for Kings Carnage and Aspen, the new stripper. North spends his nights on his thrown making sure everything is going okay at the club. He makes sure that no one gets too handsy and that the business stays on the up and up.
Aspen is just trying to get by. Her ex took everything from her, her family disowned her and she just wants to survive. She's a bit innocent for the stripping scene but takes all the information in and puts it to good use. she does not expect to catch anyone's attention for more than a couple of minutes, until North.
This was a shorter and fast-paced MC novel. Full of bad deeds, evil ex's and a ton of chemistry between our characters. I was missing a little bit of the backstory and some parts felt a bit rushed. As I said some of the other characters are in this book and it does make me want to see what I have missed, especially Jinx (I love the strong silent types). I also am interested in seeing where the last two books go. I forgot how much I enjoy the quick and dirty, rough and tumble, MC club books.
“I have to make it on my own, even if it means going against everything I was ever taught.”
Part of the Kings of Carnage MC series, each book can be read as a stand-alone and is written by different authors. I dived straight into this as MN Forgy is one of my one click authors and this did not disappoint. A quick read, this MC story has all the elements a reader expected - sex, violence , brotherhood and tragic backstories that bind broken souls together.
Aspen has an inner strength that shines through as she steps up through the carnage that is her day to day life. After walking away from a violent abusive husband she now faces a battle to keep her daughter. He has all the power and yet she refuses to give up, finding the most unlikely alliance that may be her saviour.
North, the Enforcer for the club, rules the roost at Centrefolds. He has his rules and yet he breaks each and everyone for her. Something about her captures his attention and before he even realises he is in too deep. Can he be her knight on a bike, saving her from her troubles whilst introducing her to the darker parts of himself?
As mentioned this is a shorter read and as such the insta lust then love story develops quickly, with the relationship building into something more within a couple of chapters. North is a complete asshole, you’ll know it when you read it ... and although he redeems himself I’m still wishing it wasn’t part of his character arc! I liked his vulnerabilities and how he quickly decides he’s all in regardless of his fears as life is for living. Aspen stole the book though with Halle as her memorable sick kick. Both characters were brilliant and made me smile.
A four star fast and dirty MC read.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

I loved this book. It is the fourth book in the Kings Of Carnage Series but it can be read as a standalone. This is the story of North who is an enforcer for the Carnage MC. He is the overseer of the strip club Centerfolds. His job is to keep the women and children safe. He is a playboy so this is the perfect job for him. However there is a new stripper, Aspen, who catches his attention. However she has a past that she just might be running from. Can Aspen tame this playboy and can he protect her from her past? You have to read to find all that out. This book is full of twist and turns and you will not quit reading until you are finished. I am loving this series so very much. If this is your first book you will be going back to the beginning to read them all.
A good MC story that was as ruthless as they come and this is book four in the Kings Of Carnage Series and is about North who is a closed off kind of man, ruthless but you can tell he has a heart of gold underneath that cold hard shell of his. North runs a strip joint and when a young lady called Aspen comes looking for a job his interest in her is piqued which is unusual for him as all he wants a girl for is to sate his sexual needs and he has plenty of girls on offer, but with Aspen he realises she is different and not the usual kind of girl who would want a job at a strip club.
Aspen is running scared from her ex and is in desperate need of work, she has a little girl as well so she must come first and this job will have to do to make ends meet. Meeting North was interesting, she is attracted to him and he to her but there are lots of problems in her way that puts them both in danger and this is their story.
The story is fast paced and never lets up, I adored North, I found him really attractive to read about, I was drawn to him immensely. I really felt for Aspen and all the problems she was encountering in her sad life. Will her and North make it and have a HEA - you will have to read this book and see.
I love M.N. Forgy's stories, she writes the best MC books although I did think this wasn't quite up to her usual standard and the connection between North and Aspen could have been a little better, I just felt the chemistry wasn't quite there as much as it should be, apart from that a good quick read not to be missed.
This is an MC romance that doesn’t involve North’s MC very much (that’s not a bad thing, but it’s just a head’s up for people that want the “MC experience”). Aspen is a divorced single mother that takes the only job she can find to pay the bills, as an exotic dancer. North is an enforcer and sits on a throne while at the strip club; he takes pleasure from women and won’t even allow kissing during the act. North is attracted to Aspen and she turns to North for help when the situation with her abusive ex escalates.
The good: Aspen was a strong woman who did the best she could to get by and raise her daughter and was smart enough to ask for help when situations called for it; North had an appealing protective nature towards the dancers at the strip club; Halle (Aspen’s daughter) is a bright point throughout the story; the other ladies at the strip club (minus Valley) turn out to be a great support system for Aspen.
The bad: I got the ickies from North when he went out one day with the purpose of protecting Aspen by taking care of her ex but first he takes Valley to the office at the strip club and screws her, and then that same day after he deals with Aspen’s ex he goes to Aspen and has unprotected sex with her. 🤢 Now I am a big girl and MC romances are a huge part of my Kindle library, but Aspen only had sex with one other man in her life (the ex-husband), so Ms. Forgy writing the plot to not give Aspen the respect her character deserved from a true H was jolting.
North is book 4 in the King's of Carnage series and centers around North the MC Enforcer. Ruthless and unforgiving North has found a home with the Kings and their outlaw ways. His past holds dark secrets and pain that have driven him into losing himself in booze and women and locking down his heart.
Aspen is looking for a fresh start. With limited choices on offer she finds herself taking a job at Centrefolds, a strip club run by the MC and North is the King in charge.
All it takes is one look and a bond forms between these two that unknowingly links them together. Can the new face of Centrefold soften the hardened heart of this MC Enforcer?
I love a good MC romance. Rough and rouge bikers who just cannot seem to resist the pull to their women. They fall hard, fast and Deadly you better be sure that you know what you want because when you are caught by a Biker nothing else matters but keeping and protecting what is theirs and the consequences of that can be lethal. Another knockout by M. N Forgy!
Holy snap was this story amazing in every way. The action really has you biting your nails and on the edge waiting for the next page to turn. It had its moments where I was like wth but they are good wth moments. I loved everything about this story. the plot really has you coming back for more its one of those stories that are unique and not something you have read before. Aspen this amazing mom finds herself in a pickle and the one and only North is there to help her. It really has all the good feels to it. Aspen and North really make this story spark. You add in this amazing "little human" Halle and your in for the funniest and most amazing ride ever. She really is my fav character and the stuff this "little human" has went through just shows how strong kids really are. MUST READ I could go on and on about this story but I really recommend you read it.
This is my first M.N. Forgy book and not bad! Great addition to the KOCMC series. I'm glad that we get North's backstory. In Jinx's story, we got to see North as a really playful, funny lady's man. But in his book, he was more of an a-hole and mad at the world. I guess it was his way of hiding his horrible past?! Either way, I still enjoyed the story, I loved seeing how Aspen caught his attention from the first time they locked eyes with each other. I loved the protectivenes he had towards his girls. Aspen was a strong woman who was trying to do her best to keep food on the table and a roof over her and her baby girls head. Even with her ex-husband and parents doing their best to keep her down. I can't wait to see what happens with Bouncer and Apple next! Definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series as well.
This book was about Aspen and her daughter Halle and North who is part of Kings of Carnage MC and oversees the stripper bar/club that belongs to the MC. Aspen is going through a divorce and her ex is making it impossible to find a job anywhere plus he is trying to get custody of their daughter just to get back at his ex. Aspen ends up applying to be a dancer at strip club. So the chemistry begins between Aspen the new dancer and North who watches over the girls as they strip. It was pretty comical reading about Aspen's daughter and North interact. If you want to hear the rest of the story, its definitely worth purchasing it and reading as well as the other books in the series. Awesome book MN Forgy!
It takes guts to put yourself out there. You go from a good girl to a wife and mother to a divorced woman trying to take care of her child to a stripper. When your ex does anything to take away everything from you, you become desperate and bold. Aspen is on the verge of losing everything when North happens into her life. North has rules he follows every day until he meets Aspen and Halle. Now they are his and he won't stop until they are safe again. He doesn't even realize he has claimed them. Great series. Different authors but they mesh so well throughout the series. They all make appearances in each other's books.
Aspen and North meet when she dances at the strip club the Kings of Carnage own. Her ex, who she is trying to divorce, was a cop who is tormenting her. She is trying to keep her daughter safe and not let him or her parents put her down any longer. She meets North, but is warned away by Valley. It seems North has a habit of sleeping with the strippers, or club rats and is not looking for anything serious. He feels a pull to Aspen, but tries to fight it. It was interesting to see how this all played out, however, I felt some of it was rushed. There were things that were glossed over and I was left with some unanswered questions.
Really like the premise. 6 books in this MC romance and each one written by a different author. All are very quick reads. The idea was this authors, and it really works. Each book is the same but different which is the way a series should be. Same world but different main characters dealing with their own issues. Aspen meets North and some how they click even though they come from different upbringings. Great way to get introduced to different author you normally wouldn't read. I have enjoyed each book so far and am going to start the next. Great work ladies! Well worth your time and $$ Read via Kindle Unlimited
North is the enforcer for the Kings of Carnage MC, and he runs the strip club. Aspen is a divorced single mom who is on the run from an abusive ex, and she takes a job as a stripper in Centrefold’s to make end meet. From the moment North sees Aspen he is drawn to her and the chemistry between them is explosive. Will North be able to protect Aspen from her ex? This is a well written story which is filled with suspense, danger, and is a raw and gritty read which had me totally captivate throughout, and I highly recommend for all.
Each book in the series is written by a different author, same Motorcycle Club and same cast of characters. This is North, the club Enforcer and Aspen's story. This is a fast-paced rollercoaster ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The sexy bits will keep you reading late into the night. Thank you M. N. Forgy for coming up with this fantastic collaboration. Nicole James author of Sly in this series led me to five new MC authors. Bouncer by Kim Jones is the next book in the series. Can't wait to start reading.
North runs Centerfolds for the Kings. He is a player but only because of something that happened in his past, which has kept him wary. When he sees Aspen for the first time, he thinks she is a breath of fresh air❣️
Aspen is unable to find work in her small town and in order to keep custody of her daughter, Halle - she needs work and this is how she finds herself as a stripper at Centerfolds😳
This story was fast paced and is my first by M.N. Forgy. Overall a good story with some drama, but could’ve done with some extra editing otherwise an enjoyable read😁
This was a quick, fast paced, dark and gritty read by this author. Not her usual calibre since she had to fit in working with other authors and also like everyone else, dealing with an unpredictable world right now. The book was still enjoyable and hope to see cameos from some of these characters in the future. No matter how rushed it felt to me I definitely still reccomend reading for a brief escape.
Aspen is new divorced from bad cop, she's trying to raise her daughter right but her ex is causing drama. North is the enforcer for the Kings of Carnage MC and watches out for the women at their strip club called Centerfold. Aspen and North meet when she gets a job at centerfold. Aspen flips North's world upside down. But can North and the Kings protect her from her ex? Will North change for a woman and a child? Will there be a HEA?
This was a difficult one to review. I liked the writing and the characters, but they lacked a little something. First off, the h was a bit unbelievable. It was hard to see that she was really that naive. It just seemed odd and didn't work well for me. I know this series the stories are shorter, but I needed to see a little more of them out of the club and living their lives for this to really work for me.
Wait till you see what happens when a bad ex cop, tries to manhandle his ex wife, and one of the brothers falls hard and fast for this good girl and her daughter. Not wanting to risk falling again North, one of the Kings sits on his throne and oversees his kingdom of strippers, not really living until she takes the stage, all innocent and sultry rolled into one package. So come along enjoy the story and see what the Kings of Carnage get up go this time.
