An embarrassing pile of something that can't exactly be called a book and certainly not a poem. Like your teenage diary came to life and also left grammar, spelling and basic decency at the door.
even if the poetry were forgivable (it's not), there's no getting past the immense amount of syntax, grammar, & spelling errors. knew what i was getting when i picked this & it delivered
How embarrassing!!! She literally just posted her stalkerish journal to Jason. I'm so glad her got away from her. This creepy attempt at a book just shows how bad and creepy OBSESSIVE she really is. She should have just kept this too herself because this could get her in to some trouble if Jason ever wants to press charges on her for stalking.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME READING ANY OF HER BOOKS THEY ARE ALL FULL OF LIES FOR ATTENTION.
2 stars seems generous because of all the typos but man this was kinda sad a lowkey relatable in some of the poems. But like I don’t think this is poetry haha more like diary entries
This is one of the worst books I ever read. It was so confusing and barely made any sense. It was like Trish was trying to make this the most confusing book in the world. I get poems aren't meant to be 100% clear but reading this was a nightmare. Half the time nothing made sense and the metaphors just didn't work. Don't even get me started on all the grammar mistakes..
Tbh, I've read way worse. Good for Trisha Paytas for speaking their truth and finding some catharsis and closure. I read (and sometimes review) a lot of celebrity poetry collections, so I'm not being funny; I actually do, unironically, enjoy some of the poems in here. Art is subjective, so this collection of poetry really won't be for everyone, just keep that in mind while going in.
This was horrible. There were some parts that resonated with me, but overall this was not good. This was not about an “ex-boyfriend” - it was about obsession and unhealthy co-dependency. It took me so long to finish because it was so poorly written. I’m sorry trisha girl but this was NOT it.
Surprising it's not the worst. I went into this thinking that it would be horribly written, but the writing wasn't the bad. A lot of it was very sexual but honestly it could have been way worse.
Unpolished and raw. A candid glimpse into the mind of an obsessive and traumatised woman as she dissects her past relationship, evoking themes of addiction, fixation, rejection, obsession and all consuming love.
At times the words flow from the page into our mind and as we drown in her stream of consciousness it feels as if we are reading a woman’s decent into psychosis.
Raw and emotive, while technically not written or edited perfectly (or honestly, all that well) it pulls the reader into the authors mind, and there upon the page she is authentic in her truth.
To think these poems are mostly wrote about Jason Nash who is probs on TikTok Live begging for roses now…. Go figure.
