Kat is now faced with her mortality as judgement has been passed upon her for betraying the guardians. As she continues to tell everyone that she is not a killer or a murderer, every responds with what did you expect when you said your oath to become a guardian. We keep the peace. Seeming like there is no way out Witz visits her and she begs for his help.
Oh...so totally didn’t see this coming! This tarot card speak towards actions and consequences, a huge life lesson for the MC. The extent of manipulations she has been though makes me wonder what else is to come. I definitely am looking forward to the next episode! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Just when you believe you know what Kat is going to do, and what might happen to her as a result of disobeying the order, Mr. Cronshaw twists the plot into a pretzel and leaves you wanting more. This series just keeps getting better, and it appears some questions developed over the previous episodes are beginning to get answered, maybe. I received an Advance Reader Copy and chose to provide this review.
