This would have been a fairly good story but the "romance" gets repetitive and overdone to the point of nausea. Then the "book" ends as a cliffhanger so the reader has to buy another book to read the next chapter to continue Rosie's story. Not me , I'm done.
A fantastic second installment! I am really loving this series so far. Nate and Olivia are great characters, and I adore their relationship. I was really happy with how it progressed in this book! The mystery was great, and I was completely surprised by the killer! I also love the underlying mystery throughout the series of Rosie's killer and am so interested to see where that goes! It was also nice to finally meet Olivia's brother and get some more insight into the family dynamic. So many questions and can't wait to see what happens next!
This is one of those series that sucks you in and keeps you. The relationship between Olivia and Nate is sweet, and I love their collaboration on his cases. I do want more info on Rosie's case which is why I keep reading. I'm afraid there will be too much fluff and not as much sustenance in the remaining books. Guess I'm about to find out!
Nate and Olivia are best friends who become lovers. In the last book Olivia was shot but has recovered. They are trying to solve a serial murder but she is still trying to discover who murdered her sister Rosie. This is a really good book with just enough loving and mystery.
Great book. The continued love story of Nate and Olivia is wonderful. As they continue to try to find the killer of Olivia's sister from fifteen years ago, they are confronted with an eerily similar case of murder of young co-eds in Chicago. Can they find the murderer before it's too late?
Girls are going missing in Chicago. A serial kikker is closer than either Olivia or her boyfriend detective Nate could imagine.
The writing is choppy. The mystery is so so and not much thought is given to it or the perp. Olivia and Nate's romance progresses but feels juvenile. Not impressed.
For such a short story way too many errors just like the first book. I am curious about the continuing story lines which is why I am still going to keep reading the series.
I liked the second book in the series as well as I did the first one. The characters are good, but as I said before the ghost of the sister was a bit much.
I've read this book just based on the title that was part of the nursery poem and I was partly surprised. The first book was okay, but this book was better! Thanks😀😀
I honestly enjoyed this book. I love that it doesn't only focus on the murder mystery but also focus on Olivia and Nate lives and relationship. Now I'm going to book three.
