This is my first time reading anything from this Author and it will definitely not be the last.
I really enjoyed all 3 stories, an over all great read from start to finish.
Book one:
Gabriel was expecting his daughter to arrive but then receives the news that the boat she was going to arrive on has been taken over by a gun man who is now holding everyone hostage.
His daughter was saved by a woman who protected her enough that she could run to safety.
As an ex Marine and now Coast guard, he decides to do all he can to rescue the woman who saved his daughter and all the others who are held hostage.
Full of Action and suspense, it kept me on the edge of my seat curious to know what would happen next. Many twists and turns I never expected, with the overall story line being well thought out. Great descriptions of the main characters and enough back story to get a sense of who they were. I really enjoyed the two main characters as they worked together through the traumatic event and as the story unfolded their chemistry was natural. The steamy scenes are well worth the read!!!
Book two:
Ben has always felt something for his best friends sister Olivia but always held back and resisted her. Olivia has also felt drawn to Ben and had always wanted to take things further.
When they finally give into each others feelings they make the most of it and spend an amazing night together, the weekend before he is deployed overseas.
But Olivia is left with more than just memories from that night and from then on out so much happens in her life and Ben is none the wiser to everything she goes through and has to deal with.
While Ben is deployed, its not all smooth sailing and he also experiences trauma that changes his life before returning home.
This story was completely different to book one and I loved it!!!!
The chemistry and attraction Ben and Olivia have for each other is intense and hot but also real. She brings out the strong dominant and protective alpha in him. Olivia’s character is not only loving and kind but shows such strength and determination as she deals with everything life throws at her. I love how her character grows and the level of maturity she has when dealing with really difficult unknown situations and emotional events. Again there are things that happened that I never saw coming and these events add to the overall intenseness of the story. These two were made for each other and their story is not an easy journey as they both have to overcome hurt, pain and trauma to truly live and love.
Book 3
Is about Ben and Olivia in the future. Happily married with their beautiful family, they don’t seem to get much alone time with each other to be intimate because being parents keeps them busy……and they always get interrupted lol.
This story is about them both making time for the romance side of their marriage.
I really enjoyed this steamy and romantic quick read as its about the love and support they need from each other and that the passion they had right from the beginning is still there and just as strong.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!!!

When Chloe does her friend a favor and goes to check out a location she never thought that she would become a hostage. Chloe can't let a little girl anywhere near this crazed man and sacrifices herself to save her. Taylor and her daughter Emily are grateful that Chloe was there and convinces Gabe an ex marine and Emily's father to save Chloe. Gabe and Chloe have instant connection and will do anything to stay alive. They go thru so much in the little time they are together but the bond can't be broken. I loved Gabe & Chloe together that I couldn't put my kindle down.
Warrior
I liked reading Ben & Olivia's story. There attraction can't be denied anymore and they spend his late night together before Ben deploys. But that night will change their lives. Olivia tries to get ahold of Ben but isn't successful, she has something very important she needs to tell him. Ben is a changed man and when he finally sees Olivia again there reunion is short. When Olivia's life is threaten can Ben be there to protect her? Really good story, love the characters.
Valor
I absolutely love this series especially Ben & Livvie. They are a couple you won’t forget. I love seeing what they are up too and love seeing the other characters from this series as well. I can’t wait too read more.

Okay
The first story was a an act of courage leading to a ride of lust that eventually turns to happily ever after. The second story quite frankly pissed me off. Ben gets mad at Olivia when he comes back injured for serving to find her with a baby but doesn’t give her chance to explain. Mind you she sent email upon email that due to his PTSD he did not bother to read then gets mad when he finds out she had his son. You deleted emails you didn’t give her chance to explain yet you have the right to get mad. Boy Bye!! During his inner monologue he says he’s wrong the moment she takes blame for everything he’s accepts apologies but doesn’t offer any of his own unless he’s had PTSD related issues or on the verge of losing her. I can’t stand when an author uses a doormat concept. Make her the spitfire you claim her to be. I’m not man hating because last I checked it takes two to tango.

Some of the scenes are very well written, however, the flow is not smooth. There are inconsistencies of time, actions and conversations. Also does not seem plausible in a small town to not be common knowledge when a local marine's unit is wiped out in Afghanistan. The story also references news coverage.

Three great stand-alone stories that kept me turning pages. They are Book 1, Anchor, Book 2, Warrior, and the last one is Book 3, Valor.Each story has suspense, drama, danger,and romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Really enjoy this emotionally thrilling series and this is the set of the first three at a really great price. Each one is a action packed, sexy and fun adventure filled with engaging charters, witty banter and heart racing twists. Great reading!

excellent
I loved these three books and their interconnections whilst not being essential that 1 and 2. Were read in order. The characters were well written with strong heroines and sensitivity to the issues of PTSD. Recommended.

I loved the First to Fight series being in one box set. You can sit down and escape for a little while without stopping if you don't want to. It's action-packed and sexy and the stories will suck you in. I devoured it.
