Finished it after days putting it on and off!
So.. 3.5 stars because :
1. Eyyo, everyone is gay wtf is that? Luckily MC's sister found someone and get pregnant. That's the only normal couple i see here except the parents.
2. MC and ML so handsome like omg people bow because of their handsomeness. I got annoyed by that actually haha.
3. Also, i got annoyed by the terms 'code words' wtf is even that. I always thought code = programming. Just use 'write' ffs 😭
4. Translation is ok. The translators did their best, i know that. Just there's no proofreading and you can see that. So, um, it kinda turn you off heh. But can't complain cuz as you can see, my review also bad bad. XD
5. Storyline, first 5 or 10 chapters are good. Then it's kinda boring, luckily it caught my interest again when ML's family starting the drugs. YO I SWEAR THAT ONE IS LEGIT INTERESTING ASF!
6. Not much villain but I like all of the villains' ending. So satisfying. Tho some are not explained clearly so makes me wonder, so he/she died or what or what or what??!
7. Idk if it's the translators or the author, but the story is all over the place. Uh, like, yk, one sec it's like that then next it's the next scene. No divider? Im too lazy to find example, sorry. But yeah, future me, please understand what I'm trying to say.
8. Oh OH! i love their dynamic. They really like old couple, i like that. I think that's all. Thankyouu

Rating: 4/5- Good read with some intensive family drama.
I really liked the dynamic between the MC and ML. I think firstly, the ML was incredibly respectful and treated the MC wonderfully. Even with his mensao moments, you never feel like he’s crossing the line or being ridiculously overbearing or possessive. I think he was a really kind and wonderful character.
I liked the MC as well, I think he was level headed and not overly vengeful. His calm thinking and desire to do better in this life- especially for his family- was well portrayed.
Now, the dog blood drama is indeed dog blooded and vicious, but in my honest opinion- those people had it coming.
I think it can be interpreted as overly dramatic or cruel or really unnecessary but also how many times do we as people wish for selfish and cruel people to get their just desserts. This novel really dished out karma for me, and I enjoyed its family politics. It was much better than some of the other arranged marriage, fight for the property plots I’ve read before.
There are a number of minor plot holes here and there, but nothing too big that messes with the story. I did find the details around the MLs mother’s death a bit unclear as well as the whole family dynamic with the second uncle. I wish his character along with the aunt could have been further expanded as they seemed quite interesting.
Overall, it’s very enjoyable with lots of dog food and a really lovely ML.

It was alright.
The face slapping was okay (when it finally happened) and the main and side pairings were surprisingly nicely done. There’s lot of fluff & mush, the plot was very slow & mostly focused on romantic development between the Mains. they were a very cute and loving couple, sometimes a little to much for me as I skimmed some chapters. There was also smut so that was a plus.
in all, not a bad read.

If you love a good old rebirth BL story, then this might be for you.
Lin Yu Tong dies in a ridiculously tragic manner after discovering his cheating boyfriend's ways. Miraculously he is reborn eight years prior to that incident and decides to change the trajectory of his life and do things differently. One of them being to agree to an arranged marriage to the male god Zhan Yi Fei... and the rest is history.
This is a trope that has been done but never gets old. That said, this one did not completely hit the mark for me... Or maybe I've read too many. Lin Yu Tong's past life was not established enough for me to invest in his new present life. The emotional ties to the past that makes one root for a character's comeuppance were not that strong. For a story like this the greatest strength lies in the reader investing in the main character's journey. We should want revenge on those who did him wrong, get joy from his success and love who he loves. There is a bit of a disconnect when it comes to the past and present for all the characters. What one can appreciate about Lin Yu Tong and Zhan Yi Fei's love story is that there is zero angst or misunderstandings and the focus is on family bonds. The two of them grow into ride or die power couple husbands. All the characters themselves are interesting but missing some depth or feel too surface level.
The story, the characters and style are all a bit too melodramatic in my view but I can see how others would enjoy it. It is all a matter of personal taste which is why I would give it quite an average 2.5 rating. With all that being said, this is still a good enough read to pass the time.

แต่พออ่านจริงปรากฏว่า คิดว่าประมาณ 40 กว่าบทก็จบได้แล้วนะ
MC ของเรื่องคือ Lin Yu Tong ถูกคนรักหักหลังแล้วเกิดอุบัติเหตุเสียชีวิต
ได้กลับมาเกิดใหม่ในร่างเดิมแต่เป็นเมื่อ 8 ปีก่อน
(สมัยยังเรียนมหาวิทยาลัย) ML ชื่อ Zhan Yi Fei เป็นนักธุรกิจ
ตระกูลใหญ่มากกกกก แต่ชีวิตไม่เคยมีความสุข เพราะแม่เสีย
ตั้งแต่เค้ายังเด็ก และพ่อมีครอบครัวใหม่ แถมพ่อรังเกียจเค้ามาก
มากจนงง ว่าอะไรจะเป็นไปได้ขนาดนี้

แต่ไม่ใช่คนที่เก่งทุกอย่าง อันนี้ดี คือเป็นตัวเอกแต่ก็มีจุดอ่อนบ้าง
เช่น เรียนไม่ค่อยเก่ง เรียนแล้วเอาวิชาคืนครูหมด ที่ฮาแต่อันตรายมากคือ

จะอยู่ได้ตลอดรอดฝั่งมั้ยเนี่ย 555 แต่โชคดีที่เจ้าตัวเค้าก็กลัวเหมือนกัน
เลยหาทางไม่ให้ตัวเองต้องนอนเตียงที่หอพักอีก รอด(ชีวิต)ไป 😅
ส่วน Zhan Yi Fei เป็นสุดยอดสามีมากกก อาจจะดูขรึมๆ เงียบๆ
แต่ทำงานเก่งมาก วางแผนเก่ง ที่ได้ Lin Yu Tong มาอยู่ด้วย
หลายส่วนก็มาจากการวางแผนแบบเงียบของ Yi Fei นี่แหละ
และเป็นคนรักภรรยามากๆๆๆ (เค้าเรียก Yu Tong เป็นภรรยาตลอด)
รักภรรยาแล้วยังดูแลทุกคนในครอบครัวของภรรยาอีก ตามใจ เอาใจขั้นสุด
หวานจนไม่รู้จะหวานยังไง เค้าเก็บทุกเม็ดที่เป็นเรื่องระหว่างเค้ากับ Yu Tong
โรแมนติกมากๆ
แต่จุดที่หักดาวไปหนึ่งดาวคือ ความแค้นในครอบครัว Zhan
รู้สึกว่ามันเยอะไป คือพ่อของ Zhan Yi Fei ทำกับลูกตัวเองขนาดในเรื่อง
ก็สมควรได้รับผลไป แต่รู้สึกว่ามันยาว ยืดเยื้อ แล้วพอหลังจาก 40 กว่าบทไปแล้ว
กลายเป็นมีตัวละครอื่นเข้ามาแจมเยอะ ทั้งน้องสาว น้องชายของ Lin Yu Tong
ทั้งเพื่อนและบอดี้การ์ดของ Lin Yu Tong อ่านเพลินๆ ก็ได้อยู่
แต่จะตัดออกไปก็ได้แบบไม่ติดอะไรเลย
สรุปก็คือชอบประมาณครึ่งแรกของเรื่องมากๆ แต่หลังจากนั้นเฉยๆ
อ่านแค่ให้รู้ว่าเหตุการณ์ต่อมาเป็นยังไงแค่นั้นค่ะ

baca versi Inggrisnya.sebenarnya ceritanya bagus,sayangnya terjemahannya kacau banget bikin stress
